  1. Mrs. Kingston, I believe you to be a trustworthy source and one of the few people we can rely on currently to not twist the truth, so I would be happy to side with you in the voting today. Given your statements above, I shall vote: Todd "Bulltoad" Bulstrode(Roncanator).
  2. What a crazy night; werewolves, dementors, poison, a stabbed puppy, a ghost, what can it all mean? It's good to see that the threat Cuddles posed to us all is gone, my sincerest thanks to whoever dispatched that foul monster. The threat of necromancy is ominous, I do wonder if there is something being hinted at here that we aren't quite grasping at the moment. Perhaps someone has discovered something during the night that could shed some light on the issue? Well you obviously annoyed someone, maybe that would make a good starting place for our investigations today? Goodness, I'm talking to a dead person, this is so weird... Well at least you're still with us. Well, for one thing, it would let them know what she could do, and thus they would be able to use that information to help them during the night, for example having her blocked. The fact is, we don't know what sort of weird and strange things these Deathly Hallowed people can do; for all we know, they could gain some unseen advantage by knowing Tea Ching's actions. Therefore I support her decision to remain cautious for the moment, for in this situation, information is power.

Ok, do I really need to say anything here? Not the sort of discussion we are looking for on EB, people; closing this up.
  4. I suspect Minister Granger-Weasley would not appreciate it if she heard you calling her a "hime".
  5. Name: Dystopia Mafia Hosts: Ricecracker and JimButcher Dates: April - May 2010 Survivors: None Game Information It was a lush, tropical island, that would've otherwise been a completely deserted paradise, a Utopia. A whitish sand beach was continuously drenched with the calm, rolling waves of the vast Pacific. An extremely dense jungle that occupied most of the island seemed void of human life, yet overflowing with the sound of tropical birds and other animals, as well as the beauty of palm tree and exotic plants digging their roots through the rich, dark soil. The sky was bright and clear, almost all of the time as seen from the small, unknown world. But on this day, a dark cloud rolled in, and would mark the beginning of the story of the survivors of Flight 518... 6. What a relief nobody was killed last night, that was a lucky escape Stephanie, I'm so glad you weren't killed! The kitchens have been quiet these last two evenings, so unfortunately I don't have anything new to add to our discussions, however I've finished sorting the pantry and making sure our food stores will last us through this ordeal, and I'm now ready to try and help find these Deathly Hallowed murders that are here amongst us. An interesting observation Nene, let us see what Bulltoad has to say on the matter. Also a valid point, we have no way of determining weather Bulltoad was acting out of anger or weather he was simply being framed by someone, other than our own personal opinions and observations, of course. Trying to catch these guys out is very hard. What other things happened last night that were out of the ordinary? I see Jolie was a centre of much action, from what she says. Maybe if she wore something a little less revealing... Seriously though, does anyone else have anything they can add? This is also true, we can't just let him off because he might have been framed. But nor can we be certain of his guilt yet. I would like to hear from him before making any more judgements.
  7. Hello everyone, just so you know, I'm back in wonderful cold New Zealand now, and so will be able to contribute a bit more of my time to this fantastic game. Thank you all for being so understanding of my situation, I appreciate it. The trip was very busy and ran me off my feet, but was on the whole a massive success; the choir won several awards and could not be happier with our performances. Looks like all has been running exceedingly smooth in my absence, good job everyone and especially Sandy for putting on this great game.
  8. Baron, bumping threads for attention is unacceptably selfish and is not something that is done on this site. If someone is interested in what you have to sell then they will say so. Please refer to the following section from the guidelines for this sub-forum. If I see you doing this again there will be consequences, so don't do it please. Consider yourself warned.
  9. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone, I've had a great day here in Canada and had happy birthday sung to me in at least 8 part harmony. Three times. Love those dragon cakes, I wish I had one like that. Happy Birthday to the rest of you as well, especially you Alice!
  10. This really is terrible, we can't allow these disgusting devil-worshippers to get away with this atrocity in our esteemed institution. I may just be a kitchen elf, but as a member of the faculty here I'll be doing my part as well to ensure justice is done and the guilty are punished for this! Attacking children, how low can you get?
  11. I'm about to jump on a plane, so I'll share my thoughts later. Will be interesting to see what you all have to say.
  12. This is Jingle, confirming my participation! Work in the kitchens is very busy right now, so I must run, will be back shortly!
  13. As has been stated, I am currently travelling, so will update when I get the chance. I'm boarding a plane in 20 minutes, so I don't have time right now!
  14. That is exactly what this thread is Big Cam, the same as the old Index thread was sort of turning into, but now the indices are separate and this thread is for all the necessary discussion, if any.

  16. As part of the new structuring process in this forum, we now have a new Mafia Index and will soon have a new index to cover Mystery games as well (it's a bit of a mystery currently ). As such, this topic has unfortunately been made redundant. I'd like to thank TinyPiesRUs for all the effort he put into this index back when it was started right up till now, he has been a great help to all of us and to keeping some order in this crazy little corner of EB. This thread has a lot of history, and I'm sure it will serve as a reference to us all in the future. Speaking of the future, for all discussion, I'd like to direct you all to our new General Discussion and Announcements thread. Enjoy the new set up in our new forum, and if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to contact me.
  17. I just added a subtitle to this topic to give some further clarification on the topic you're looking to discuss. Can't say I have any of the architecture line yet.
  18. I actually got these last weekend in the 20% off sale at Toyworld, will keep me busy for some time. 10210 Imperial Flagship 10211 Grand Emporium 7569 Desert Attach 7570 The Ostrich Race x2 7571 The Fight for the Dagger 7572 Quest Against Time 7573 Battle of Alamut x2 Have so far built the Grand Emporium and an Ostrich Race, looking forward to building the rest sometime soon.
  19. Got my Flagship in the 20% off sale at Queen's Birthday weekend; haven't built it yet, but I'm looking forward to it! Grand Emporium is amazing, I'm tempted to get a second one at some point. Some fantastic parts in there, and a lovely design.
  20. 1) What is your experience with mafia games, here and elsewhere? I know a bit about them, played in a few, won a few too. Might have an interest in scheduling them and making sure they are running. I'll always love Mafia, it is a game you can never get bored with, as every game is different and unique. 2) What is your relationship with the Harry Potter -franchise? I am, in fact, a close friend of Norbert's family, the friendly Norwegian Ridgebacks. His mother was so proud. I take an interest in the Lego sets, the upcoming ones look particularly nice, and loved the books when I read them. Harry Potter was very likely one of the first Fantasy-based on-going series I read, introduced me to a whole new world of literature. Lovely presentation of the sign-up and setting Sandy, really looking forward to the game.
  21. Hi Davee123, thanks for posting this, it looks like a neat game. Feel free to continue discussion of this game, I have no problem with that, however if you ever want to host an actual game session of this on EB (such as a contest or something of that nature) then that would need to be cleared with me.
  22. Right, my votes are as follows: 2 points to entry 47 by fugazi, really nicely built and a great idea, I can just see the clown there! 1 point to entry 54 by Skalldyr, lovely design (nice chandelier ;) ) and a neat concept. Great job everyone, that was a tough decision.
  23. Hi Shroud, Excellent work with your LDD creations, they look very good and I can tell you have put a lot of effort into them. The site policy on images is that they should be no more than 800x600 pixels, so I have changed your images to thumbnails for the moment. Please resize your images, and then you can repost them. Thanks, and keep up the great work. Several others in this thread could also take note of the site policy on image sizes. For more information, please see the site guidelines.

  25. OK, enough is enough gentlemen. This game has been in the "planning/sort-of-semi-playing" stage for almost 8 months now. I gave this permission because I understood it was all ready to go, which it quite frankly is not. Half of your players have lost interest, and everyone is getting a bit frustrated, although they're doing their best to not get too worked up over it. The delays in this are not fair on the players; it's time to sort this out. ADHO15, you have 2 weeks to get this game entirely sorted and running before I'm pulling the plug on it. That means getting your players sorted and getting them playing! No more procrastinating; this is either happening or it isn't. When I first approved this I was very clear in stressing the need for structure and organisation, this is clearly somewhat lacking. My apologies to all of you who have been eagerly awaiting the start of playing for this game, you'll be getting your action very soon, or else it just wasn't meant to be.
