  1. Probably a good idea to clarify there Cranebeinn, Gofraid's spear had to be something else as the inventor can only hand out protective items. However Wary has worked hard thus far to take out the scum, and I see no reason to lynch him unless it becomes clear that he has to kill everyone in order to achieve his manly goals. Personally, I think it's more likely he just has to survive, based on past experience with this god.
  2. No, you are confirmed as not killing on night 4. Everyone else is confirmed by role verification, actually.
  3. Considering how Beorn tried to set Snotra up with that fake rolecop result I'd be less inclined to consider him a servant. Patrekr, while not overly active and unconfirmed, doesn't ring any alarm bells for me. In my mind that puts it between Rurik and Petrus. Interesting that Petrus hasn't had anything to say yet, isn't it? Rurik's just been doing all the fighting for him so far.
  4. Is it you then Rurik? Perhaps it is both of you? You were very quick to run to Dagrun after all, and Dagrun never said Petrus was the only scum left. That's certainly an interesting point to make, since you are so convinced for no reason at all that Petrus is not a servant. I wonder why you would be so convinced? While it is possible, I think you're more likely just a bit crazed in the head.
  5. Mmhmm. Thanks Wary. I hope Rurik takes a moment to kick himself in the megablocks for not consulting you before blathering out useless accusations. As a note Wary, Dagrun came running to you fuming because Rurik told him our plan. So helpful! I'm just glad it was late enough not to ruin it for us.
  6. If you want to know why Dagrun blabbed, you'll need to talk to the broadsword killer, not me. She didn't blab to me, she blabbed to him, and likely dropped Petrus' name to try and convince him to join with her. It was risky, definitely not a risk I would take. Answer this for me Rurik, do you honestly think I'm on the same side as all of the people I have been working so hard to kill? Does that make any sense at all to you? Take a moment, accept that you're wrong, and then we can finish up this messy business and go back to drinking. There is no need to drag this out any longer than necessary. Yesterday was somewhat turbulent and part of my voting was to get responses, not to form bandwagons. In the end, we formed one against the right person which ultimately helped put the scum in a desperate enough situation to risk trying to convince the broadsword killer to kill me. Don't take my word for it though, ask Wary. I think I would have been a crap choice for a conversion actually, I was watched on several nights, protected, and also clearly still doubtful to some as you are demonstrating. Hervi has had a history with Petrus so, since everything else he did in this afterlife was based on metaphysical reasoning, I can quite easily see him urging his team to convert Petrus early on. Perhaps only some people can be converted? I have no idea. Time for me to have a nap! I'm looking forward to dealing with Petrus later.
  7. My god Rurik, do you read anything? I blocked the conversion, not the kill. I verified you were not the killer the previous night, and so I told you what I did in case the broadsword killer turned around and killed me, siding with the scum. I told you because we have the last tow scum sorted out, so there is no need to verify you further. I told you because I thought you might actually be helpful. Clearly not. Anyway, I'm not going to argue the same point over and over. Your arguments still don't actually have a point to them from what I can see, are you accusing me of being scum or not? And if so, why would I have blocked the scum kill and asked the broadsword killer to kill my own team mate? It's a ridiculous proposition and you know it Rurik.
  8. Yes, take a chill pill man! Alright, I'll start with the second point. I have no idea why there was no scum kill. As I said though, I don't think that's important. It could have been for any number of reasons. Perhaps the fact the scum killer was killed stopped him from killing? Perhap God flipped a coin? Perhaps he did target me and I was protected? Perhaps he was stopped by something else we are unaware of? We never figured out why Cranebeinn was blocked on night 3 after all, that is also still a mystery. As for Petrus being vanilla, that is what he claimed, and unless you want to wait another night so we can track him, there isn't any way to say. I do however feel confident that he is scum. The other choices do not make sense as I noted above. All four of you have claimed vanilla, and there isn't any way to verify any of your claims. However, the testament from the broadsword killer and the fact that Dagrun was seen targeting the broadsword killer on night 4 all fit. What proof do you have of that? It could have happened any way from the stories of the past, such as a coin flip, as I noted. There are several ways that sort of thing can be resolved.
  9. Erm, I already did, the rest of your statement was just whinning that I must be lying. Try reading it again, it might help you understand what's going on. I can't speak for the scum, so I have no idea why Dagrun told the broadsword man. Would you like him to speak up for himself and clarify that point? I have already done so, as has Sveinn, who he has also spoken to. You honestly think I would be both working with the SK and also getting him to kill my team? You're obviously not thinking at all. If I'm scum as you claim, does that make Sveinn scum? Does it make the SK scum? How many scum are left Snotra, by your reckoning? Dragmall yawns and swigs back some more manly rum.
  10. Touche. You need to sort out that attitude and think for a moment Snotra. If I were scum, I wouldn't have instigated the killing of Dagrun. Try using a few of your braincells instead of just shouting at the first person to say something you dislike. I think Rurik is actually just a mislead townie like yourself. Petrus was trying to convince me that Rurik is suspicious and should be lynched, after all. I highly doubt that there are 8 scum, more likely they started with 6 and have converted once. They almost converted again last night but I stopped that. But yes, as noted, if Petrus is not scum like you seem to think, then that would leave Snotra, Rurik and Patrekr. Personally, of those 4, and with the evidence against her, I feel Petrus is the best choice for today. That's a manly choice.
  11. Your face is total BS. What Canute said, if you have a better idea Snotra then feel free to take the reigns and go for it. You've been so helpful in finding and lynching scum so far.
  12. As noted, Petrus was previously considered clear as he was so adament to take out Hervi. However, thanks to Dagrun's testamony and the efforts of the blocker, I'm pretty confident that the last scum is Petrus. If it isn't Petrus, that just leaves Snotra, Rurik and Patrekr. Which I'm not ruling out, but I suspect you're just being a bit slow rather than scummy. Thanks to Rurik's blabbing of the plan to kill Dagrun to Dagrun himself, I can't be certain who Dagrun was targeting now. It is possible that he had time to switch his kill to me after Rurik spoke to him. That or he may have already been trying to kill me, not trusting the word of the broadsword killer to do it instead. Naturally I was protected last night. If there is some other explanation I do not know it, but nor do I deem it important to our lynch target for today.
  13. This is why I wish I could have brought my Towniest of Townies badge into this life... Well we may as well get the accusations flowing now, I don't want to hold you all in suspense defiantly indefinitely. Our lynch target for today is our beloved Hervi accuser, Petrus! Shock horror you cry, how could he turn on us after being so vocal about lynching Hervi? It's a simple reason everyone; conversion. Petrus was converted during night two or three, as my information tells me that it takes the scum two nights to complete a full conversion. This is why Dagrun was seen targeting the broadsword killer on night 4; she was carrying out the first half of their attempted conversion. Luckily, the second half of that attempt was blocked last night, and Dagrun was killed. The other tricky twist is that the servants can pass their abilities around. So while Dagrun was out hunting last night, or should I say, being hunted, who was attempting to complete the conversion? That would be Petrus. Petrus thought that attacking Hervi made him too manly to require verification, but he was wrong in that assumption! Petrus has now been checked, and the indication is that he is a servant of Loki. This and the testament of Dagrun to the broadsword killer last night that Petrus is a fellow Servant are sadly weighing against him. Dagrun was kind enough to inform our broadsword killer that Petrus would be carrying out the conversion, which made blocking it very easy, leaving our broadsword killer to take out Dagrun. I am inclined to trust this information as the broadsword killer would not have killed Dagrun if he was intending to allow the conversion to go ahead. In other news, our inventor was verified, so that clears up some confusion there too.
  14. That Wilhalm sure looked suspicious too but he was quietly sleeping in his room last night. Who could the final scum be? Sharpen those axes warriors, for we shall know soon! Is the suspense killing you all yet? Get it? Killing? Aren't I manly and hilarious?
  15. Well well, what a great night. Anyone interested to hear who the last servant of Loki is? I know I'm excited to tell you all! First though, I think some manly celebrations are in order, for we have taken down another two of the heinous scum lurking in our Hall. Let's go Ragnar, on with the voting!
  16. Thanks for the long response Patrekr, while it doesn't clear you it does make me feel a bit more confident that you are not the scum we are looking for. Naturally the only way for us to get that sort of response was by starting a vote, so it did serve a purpose. As I noted when I said it, my list of three people is just based on who has claimed and who has been watched/blocked/tracked recently. It is definitely not authoritative, and I have already noted that the rolecop and inventor are still unverified as even having the actions they claim. I am a bit worried that we will be wasting our lynch today, but perhaps that doesn't matter. We have certainly made some progress. The three blocks on night 3 worry me also. Either Cranebeinn is lying, or there is some other reason for it. Under the redirector model proposed by Petrus, could the town blocker have been unknowingly redirected to block someone else without being told he was woozy? Is it possible for the protector to have been unsuccessful without being blocked? All questions that I wish we had an answer to. The odd rolecop result on Snotra I think is the only other lead we really have. Is it too late in the day to be dealing with this? Perhaps, but definitely something we can look into tomorrow. Unvote: Patrekr (Palathadric) Hmm, since things are heading that way, let's hear from our rolecop, Beorn. Vote: Beorn (Bob)
  17. I agree that the presence of a rolecop is somewhat odd. The conversion action sort of makes sense in my mind though. Hervi told me that he hada two-shot bodyguard action, which had a 50% chance of seeing who was targeting a person and a 50% chance of killing him. He said he was going to use it in the first two nights to make sure it had some use. Since Hervi generally likes to twist the truth, was this perhaps his conversion role? Maybe he could only convert twice, and each time he had a 50% chance of success? Would that explain the woozy protection result on Petrus on night one? Perhaps that was a failed attempt at a conversion? In which case perhaps Hervi was successful on night two? I am concerned that someone was converted in the first couple of days before Hervi was killed. It is certainly possible. Was it Cranebeinn? Who knows. Just a quick note that you didn't have that list until very recently, it wasn't part of your reasoning for targeting him. The rest makes sense though. We're running out of time, and we do need to make sure we use our lynch for today. If we're got going to lynch Cranebeinn, what other options do we have? Well, I've been striking people off my list slowly, and by looking at who has been verified to have a town role and who has been tracked/blocked recently, I believe the killer last night had to be either Snotra, Wilhalm or Patrekr. The only other options are our unverified "town" role claims, which are the inventor and perhaps the rolecop. So, of our three main suspects then, which one would be most beneficial to lynch? We have nothing on Wilhalm and I do feel he is just a rather passive townie. Snotra has been very aggressive, particularly against Hervi, which could have been staged. The odd rolecop result and his vanilla claim also mean he wouldn't be a bad lynch. Patrekr has had an odd voting history and has been quite adamant in defending Cranebeinn today. Is that scummy or just a townie who thinks Cranebeinn is ok? His thoughts haven't been that useful previously either. Well, let's get some voting going. For now, I shall vote: Patrekr (Palathadric).
  18. We do actually. He gave a bulletproof vest to Finn on night one, which Finn confirmed. So we know he has an inventor action. The question is, does that make him a townie? I suspect he was certainly a townie to begin with. What I am most worried about is conversion, which could easily have happened on night two, when he claims to have given an item to the departed Gofraid. Since then, he has had very "bad luck" with his ability. He attempted to give an item to Wilhalm on night three, which I found an odd choice, and was apparently unsuccessful, which made him think he was blocked. However, I know the scum blocker blocked another action that night, and I know who the town blocker targeted, so unless there is a third blocker that can't be right. Last night he was successful in targeting me, but his action had no effect. Apparently he has a 30% chance of giving nothing, along side his other actions. With that pattern in mind, and all the various points that have been raised against him completely aside from his abilities at night, there is certainly a case here. I do suspect that if there are only one or two scum left, they would want to quickly claim a "helpful" action in an attempt to hide in plain sight, dissuading us from looking into them. Of course, Cranebeinn was the inventor on night one, so his roleclaim is certainly correct. This is a problem. But, was he perhaps converted? I have had another person claim to me that they are the rolecop, and one of their findings was that Hervi had some kind of conversion role. Was Crainebeinn perhaps converted on night 2? Lots of questions there, but it is a starting place, let's get talking people. Thoughts?
  19. Seems everyone's a little late to wake up today! Definitely a pity to see three innocent people died last night, however their deaths were not in vain, for we are getting much closer to narrowing down the scum amoung us. We, the manly vikings, shall prevail! I am waiting to hear from a couple of people and then I shall have some things to say.
  20. What does that mean? Anyway, while I still maintain my suspicion of sheepy Eric, we need to make our votes cout today. Stemid is also someone on my list of uncertain individuals, so I am willing to place mt vote there instead. Unvote: Eric the Boneless (Etzel) Vote: Stemid the Pale (Sandy)
  21. Well, let's get things going with a vote shall we? Vote: Erik the Boneless (Etzel) Why, you may ask? After I laid out a long case against Finn? Simply because I think Finn is likely telling the truth, his claims seem a little too out there to be fabrications at this point. That and several people have expressed their doubts that he is a servant of Loki, and his own words certainly make me feel more confident in him. Erik however, has been utterly useless thus far, I believe I have even seen him hiding under the table at times. Not manly at all! He has gone with the crowd, and then tried not to have an opinion today by relying on suspicions of Bergulf. Let's hear from you Erik and see what you have to say.
  22. Well, things are certainly going well in the back room, thanks for your patience everyone. In my discussions, I have had one role-claim which seems particularly odd, so I thought that should be the one I will bring forward. Finn came to me earlier today asking whether I was in contact with the watcher that targeted Bergulf on night two. This was working under an assumption from Hervi that this happened. (Did Hervi say this out loud or was Finn told privately? I need to clarify that). When I told Finn that the watcher did not target Bergulf that night, he found this odd, and said that he asked because he targeted Bergulf that night and was hoping the watcher saw who the other person was, as this second person would therefore be the framer under the framer idea proposed earlier. What I find odd about this is that it could also be seen as an attempt to clear himself of being the framer before he is accused of it. A rather odd and risky move for a depleted scum team, but perhaps there is some merit to my reasoning? What I found even more odd was his role claim. He claims to have had an inheritor action, which would make him the investigator on the death of the current investigator, if he found that investigator before he died. apparently this did not work and he is now a vanilla townie. However, shouldn't it have worked when he targeted Bergulf on night two? He did not have any answer for why it did not. I think Finn may be the best person to lynch today, particularly as it doesn't put any major town roles at risk in doing so. Thoughts people?
  23. Thank you for your patience Snotra, I an still waiting for a couple of people to get back to me on a few matters. Progress is being made however!
  24. Calm down Snotra. We're gradually putting a picture together behind the scenes and should have some idea of where to go from here soon. Aggressiveness isn't going to help us find clarity.
