  1. If you don't know that then you didn't pay much attention to the entire Burbank lynch.
  2. Who the hell let a girl on this ship!? Bad for morale you know. Sausages anyone?
  3. Don't be petulant and a moron please.
  4. Oh for the love of god. Haven't we had enough confusing, ridiculous stories from town members already? You honestly thought the scum would contact you after a townie has already tried that trick and failed miserably? What a load of carrots. In my opinion the two of you are both as suspicious as each other. For one, if we use the example raised by McAndrews, he could easily be scum that has contacted York and says he will prevent us from lynching him, with the promise of killing him tonight in exchange for his role, and possibly the town roles too if our so called neutral is to believed. This story is just getting ridiculous, and incredibly unhelpful. If you are both town, you have likely doomed us, as we cannot proceed without clearing up this ridiculous threatening behaviour. There are 15 of us left, and 5 of us are scum. Think about those numbers for a second, and think about what chance the town has if the scum get a second night kill. We would not last beyond tomorrow. I continue to advocate for the lynch of Ensign York, he is a hazard we cannot ignore now.
  5. I think he might been at the loony gas now that out chief medical officer is dead. He is doing the crazy things, and thinking the crazy things.
  6. Horrible creatures.
  7. Except you can't give your kill power to a townie, as you must be night killed. Night killing you means the scum must do it. They will only night kill you if you promise to give them the night kill action (assuming you can choose). So either way, it makes better sense to kill you. This offers the town minimum risk and assures us of one less kill every night that would be to our detriment. Seems to me the choice for today is obvious. How long till lunch is served? I am starving.
  8. Right, and since you clearly aren't on the town side, the best choice for the town at this point is to kill you, which prevents the death of one townie each night. This is pretty lucky really, thanks for trying and failing to manipulate us.
  9. Yeah, we're lynching you, sorry chump. No chance I am letting the scum get an extra kill on the promise that you won't tell them the three roles you supposedly found, which could very easily be a fabrication. Don't try to mess with us little Ensign, you haven't a chance here.
  10. Um, wow, ok. Thanks for that. So, I think it's clear that we have to vote out the crazy one there. We cannot afford to let the scum kill twice in one night, or we will have lost this ship before we have a chance to defend it. I for one would much rather take a risk and get our power roles out in the open so they can perhaps help us, instead of practically giving ourselves to the scum. Remember that the scum can only kill once per night, and we likely have a town protector. That, and we have only had three night phases so far, so I highly doubt that, on the balance of probability, Ensign York has actually found three power roles in that space of time. I would be willing to bet he is bluffing. I dislike that he is attempting to give the scum an advantage either way, so in my opinion we vote him out and he loses any chance of redemption in the afterlife. If he wanted to help the town, he would have told the vigilante to kill him when he discovered who the vig is. Since he did not do so, I say he is bluffing and doesn't have a clue what he is doing. He has dug himself a hole, time to cover him over I say.
  11. If you had bothered to take part in the discussion yesterday you would have seen that I was anything but inactive. Yes I did believe that Burbank was scum, as did a majority of us, so I suppose you could call that detrimental. But no more detrimental than those who agreed with and helped to analyse the theory. Very interesting sentence this one. Care to elaborate?
  12. I was quite proud of my use of a traditional EB Mafia acronym, ALATC. Acting Like A Total Carrot dates back to Mystery Castle, although the exact meaning of acting like a carrot has been somewhat lost in the twisted turns we have made through space-time. Fun stuff though. Carrot anyone?
  13. That sounds more like it! Be careful John, your new position has a reputation for leading to a quick trip to the Chamber now.
  14. I don't have a whole lot to add at this point, I made my arguments clear earlier, and am in agreement with the tabled accusations against Burbank. I certainly would not trust him to stick a needle in me at this point, and if you can't rely on your doctor, best to change! Vote: Julius Burbank 'MD' (Brickdoctor) Now if you'll please excuse me, I have a rampaging tree stump to incinerate. Weird distractions like that only confuse the less educated ensigns when they are trying to think.
  15. Suddenly I can breath a little easier.
  16. I can't actually see where I accused you Ensign, I merely noted a pattern of behaviour which I found suspicious considering the recent discussions surrounding Burbank. I also find your attempts to try and downplay my contributions rather curious, considering that was not in fact my first contribution to the day. Perhaps you need to pay a little more attention before you start trying to derail our current line of discussion? It was a pretty shallow attempt to ALATC me; I have spoken just as much as the majority of the rest of the crew. Usually quality is more useful to the loyalists than quantity, you might want to keep that in mind. Anyways, back to the progress we have made today. As a quick summary before voting, we have discussed the composition of the scum team, particularly in relation to the alleged Fanon group, which I have already commented on. Our discussion of the security tapes has resulted in some suspicion towards Lieutenant Commander Burbank, firstly because of a pattern highlighted in the voting and subsequent death of Ensign Mandel, and secondly in relation to comments Burbank made when we were trying to determine who killed whom during the night. We still have plenty of time left to further discuss these matters of course, so I see no reason to be hasty in voting.
  17. I would tend to agree that this is the only lead we seem to have at the moment. I also note that the responses to this line of questioning have been particularly interesting. For example, Ensign York was very quick to dismiss the line of reasoning against Lieutenant Commander Burbank, and instead attempted to redirect the conversation in an unrelated accusation as quickly as possible. Personally, unless something more pressing arises I think this is likely the best course of action for the day. If anything, it has certainly led to some interesting reactions that we can probably use to help us determine where to go from here.
  18. Interesting analysis Lt Daly, those science degrees must come in handy. I have to say you're one of the few people I feel is making some sense so far in our discussions, instead of making hollow and intentionally provocative accusations without really thinking about what has happened. I can tell you have put some thought into your conclusions. Particularly in regard to killing off Mandel early, this would make sense. I think the analysis of the kills so far is where we are encountering the most difficulty. As has been noted, the Purists had no reason to take out Ensign Campbell, which would indicate that he was killed by the vigilante. This is also the most likely killer of Ensign Robbins. At this point I would urge us to be cautious of taking the night recordings at face value, as it has been constantly noted by our Admiral that the ship's normally exemplary security system has fallen in to some disrepair now that it is being handled by the amateurs he calls a crew. I would however say that, unless proved otherwise, we can probably assume that the killers will act consistently. No need to worry, I'm still here.
  19. I would be of the opinion that if it is possible to be aware that you are blocked, then every time someone is blocked they would be aware of it, regardless of whether they have an action or not. That would make sense, as it is consistent. As for the results, they are pretty depressing. I think it's clear that the Fanon was a stunt to try and draw out the scum, which didn't work, but was a nice effort by a townie to try and help a team that had turned on him. That was some good future thinking right there. As for where to go from here, hard to say. We have nothing solid to go on, only our observations of behaviour.
  20. I wouldn't recommend that, I'm da bomb you know. Look at this sexy security vest!
  21. Always a pleasure young Ensign. We Command Officers have to show our support for you little under-paid workers every now and then, helps boost moral and what not. Now back to your post, there are floors to be scrubbed, there's a good chap.
  22. Some of us like to think before we type talk.
  23. I do like that you think you can decide who the vig will kill. So it's voting time! Time to crunch down and kill off someone. While I disagree with the reasoning behind all the pressure against Ensign Pewter, nobody else other than Ensign Campbell has really gained any attention today. So, time to test the waters with a vote and see what we can figure out. If he's town, Rockford is the clear choice for tomorrow. If he is scum, then we can kill off Campbell, if he survives the night. Vote: Ensign Brian Pewter, security (Palathadric) Sad to see one of my own security personnel going, but I guess it is possible for these activists to have infiltrated even the strong ranks of my force.
  24. ...I'm alive? I mean, yes, good to see most of you here today. I'm the head of security, of course I'm alive. Pity about the ensigns, but we must go on. I think the notion that there are two scum teams is a little ludicrous, there is quite clearly a scum killer and a vigilante. Let's not try to complicate things where there is nothing to be complicated about. I almost find it suspicious that certain people keep bringing up this two scum theory on such flimsy "proof", as if they are trying to mislead us all. Vigilantes make mistakes, it's why I always say to stick to the letter of the law and let Security deal with breaches of the peace, rather than taking matters into your own hands. I wish our Admiral thought like that, but no matter. I am against a lynch for Ensign Pewter until a real reason is given. As I see it, the entire case against him is based on an intentional misinterpretation of a joking PM. Which is a rather odd way to cast a vote in my view.
  25. Late to my own party! Thank you everyone, I had a wonderful day and ate lots of cake. That dragon cake looks too good to eat Big Cam, really awesome. Now someone pass me the damn sausage rolls...
