  1. Very creative use of the parts and I like how the dragon looks.
  2. My favorite is 6545
  3. I hope that this amazing monorail becomes a real set. The original has always been one of my favorite sets.
  4. If that would happen I'd stop using Eurobricks altogether. All this has already made me temporarily scale back my activities here because I have a feeling that Eurobricks is changing into something I don't like and didn't sign up for.
  5. Yes, but for some reason option 2 seems to be more popular. I fear that there is not enough interest (at least in the beginning) for individual clone brands. Personally I don't mind if it'll be option 2 or 3 because I won't visit that section. Maybe start with option 2 and later change it to 3 if there is enough interest?
  6. Yes, this is true. I have the link to the source. https://www.lego.com/en-us/history/articles/c-automatic-binding-bricks "A Briton, Hilary Fisher Page, and his company Kiddicraft has invented the plastic bricks that Ole Kirk and his son Godtfred are presented with. In the late 1950s, the LEGO Group contacts Kiddicraft to ask whether they object to the LEGO® brick. They do not. On the contrary, they wish the company good luck with the bricks, as they have not enjoyed much success with their product."
  7. I think the current system has been working fine. Now builds that clearly distinguished as being clone brand are posted in the community section. No one has been complaining (not even me) if a MOC has a few clone brand pieces and has been posted in the Lego section. Only if it is obvious that the build is using many clone brand pieces it has been moved to the community section. As Eurobricks is primarily a Lego forum I personally think all visibly mixed builds (including those that are a mix of Lego and clone pieces) should belong in the clone brand section. The only difference is that now clone brand stuff belongs in the Community section and in the future they'll belong in clone brand section or sections.
  8. I personally think that this poll has been done in a very professional and objective way and your posts have been constructive and helpful. It is only a fact to point out that option 2 seems to be the middle ground that most people can accept.
  9. One of the highlights of Eurobricks is seeing these fantastic alternate builds!
  10. I agree. Clone brand MOCs must be placed in the new clone brand section otherwise it'd be equal to bringing in option 4 through the back door. With option 4 dead last with only 14.04% support and options 1 and 2 in the lead there is no way to justify any form of integration. Ideally there could be a subforum in the clone section for MOCs.
  11. That sounds like a good idea as long as the other brands stays in their own forum.
