[BDP] Series 7 Wolf Pirates
SevenDeadlyStreamers replied to SevenDeadlyStreamers's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thank you for all the kind words! I really enjoyed building a ship with the Wolfpack aesthetic, I only wish I could’ve included the wolf or cockatiel from the latest CMF series. -
[BDP] Series 7 Wolf Pirates
SevenDeadlyStreamers replied to SevenDeadlyStreamers's topic in Pirate MOCs
That’s awesome and I love that I made the seventh spot! I was inspired by the latest CMF series and how Wolfpack and Pirates each got a new minifig. I used what was available in BrickLink to create my entry. I would have preferred more realistic sails like you have and the wolf would’ve been more iconic too. I’m glad you liked it and thanks so much for the support! -
Ahoy Mateys I would like to introduce my latest entry in the BrickLink Designer Program! Wolf Pirates 🐺🏴☠️ I know the Wolfpack and Forestmen are traditionally “Castle” themed, but I reimagined them as belonging to LEGO Pirates! I built a cog ship style vessel for the Wolfpack and a Celtic or Viking style longboat for the Forestmen Wizard. I hope you enjoy my entry in this round of the BDP and I would be very grateful if you consider voting for it! Cheers Mateys

[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
SevenDeadlyStreamers replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
If it is only between me and Horation, he can have the prize. Do a wheel spin if there are other people who qualify. -

I do love the Barracuda, but this ship is like the sequel that doesn’t get enough credit. I dare say I like it more! -

[ENTRY] [LARGE] - Steves Challenge

Excellent last minute build. I really really like this temple concept. I also am impressed with the fact this is all brick-built. Well done, this late game addition has earned one of my votes! -
[POLL] Which Prizes Do You Find Most Enticing?
SevenDeadlyStreamers replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
We were sitting at 25 comments so I’m perfectly fine with the prize going to @Horation I was hoping they would make it to 50 before the deadline, so please forfeit my claim. -
It seems I may be the first to vote in this category? This is honestly a harder decision than the building entrants, everyone has been so helpful and kind. However since I must choose only one, I am voting for @Math Wizard This Critic was one of the first to write a comprehensive comment on each of my entries. Compliments were appreciated and criticisms helped me (and my daughter) improve our builds!

I noticed you changed the direction of the flag in the image of Steve rolling down the hill. Nice touch, it looks good. And I want to apologize, I had written a comment earlier, but it never posted. I blame my phone or the internet, lol. -

SevenDeadlyStreamers replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Excellent choice Matey! Well I doubt we will get to 50 comments by the deadline, so @Mister Phes may I claim a second 25 comment prize for Sydney’s Mini Imperial Trading Post? If someone else reached the threshold first, please feel free to give them the option to claim the prize. Thank you! -
[ENTRY][SMALL] Skull’s Eye Schooner
SevenDeadlyStreamers replied to SevenDeadlyStreamers's topic in Pirate MOCs
I’m glad to see your comment Captain, I always appreciate the feedback. Using SNOT technique certainly more advanced than traditional building, so I know that’s why my daughter chose the parts she did. However I do agree that would make it look much cleaner, I can even image a way to make the figurehead look more accurate by using a sideways technique. Thanks for the tips Matey! -
I like the inclusion of the horse and poor young Steve holding the pitchfork. It is clear he worked hard his whole life to get where he is as an adult. My critique for you is, it appears you are using BrickLink Studio so I suggest you turn on the “collision” feature. I may be mistaken, but a couple parts seem like they may be clipping into each other. Also, bonus points for including the classic monkey!
