  1. I've been able to do two separate orders from them without issue a couple of times before, and it wasn't any different for me when I did it this time. That's a pretty good alternative, especially for smaller quantities, but after tax it's still a little cheaper to go with Minifigure Madness.
  2. Probably fairly soon. We already know some about the January 2025 range for other series, so I imagine we will hear about CMF's soon - especially now that we have seen official photos of D&D. If it was a licensed, there's a chance it would have been leaked by now, so I'm guessing it will be a normal one. I heard a thirdhand rumor saying it would be a costume series, but I'm taking that with a huge grain of salt.
  3. Sets are now up on lego.com! https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/fortnite Looks like I was wrong about the Battle Bus price increase - it is still $100 - glad to see!
  4. The sets haven't been posted by Lego yet, but the leaker who provided the photos mentioned the new price. That could be an error, but it's more likely correct.
  5. Battle Bus: Looks good for what it is. Not quite the cast of characters I was hoping for (three are wearing black, which makes them blend together), but it's not bad either - Probably a high B, if I gave the minifigs a grade. The price going up to $120 is pretty lame, though - guess I'll wait for a sale to get it. Bone Peely - I mean, it looks fine for what it is, but who asked for this? Maybe with it releasing in October, it will appeal to some people wanting it for Halloween, but this one is a shelf filler if I've ever seen one. Loot Llama - pretty much what I expected it to be. Looks like a decent size for the price as well, and the mini-builds are cute. Maybe they could have thrown in a minifig, but fewer scultured do that nowadays, so I'n not to worried about it. Durr Burger - Um... that's not a "battleground." That's... Just a burger. It looks like a GWP to me. It's fine for what it is, but it's also not exactly super exciting. Overall, my opinion's down a little bit, but I don't think any of the builds are downright ugly, and most of them don't seem too inflated. I'll still keep them on my radar, but I'm not in any rush to do so.
  6. I kinda wish the Dragonborn had a chainmail shirt under the armor, but the tunic/necklace is still pretty good. Probably a more diverse choice, too. I've glad the video confirmed the Mindflayer's head isn't rubber, and that it's hard plastic! I do wonder about some of the other parts though - though now that they've leaked, I'm sure more reviews will be coming out shortly. I also wonder what extra parts might be included - I think it would be great if we got two of the Gith's knives, but I won't hold my breath either.
  7. Looks like a modernized two-pack of 7667 and 7668 from my childhood - though KT is swapped out with the Shadow Trooper and a Rebel Trooper. If the price is decent, I'll keep it on my radar - otherwise, I'll see if I can find KT cheap on Bricklink (I imagine a lot of people will army build with this and sell off the duplicate astromechs).
  8. There's in-hands photos of most of the minifigs floating around now. Custom baseplates that look very reusable, and it looks like most have two heads and not just double-sided printing! Arm and back printing galore! These really feel quite premium. Well done, D&D/Lego! I've got mine ordered from MinifigureMadness, and I'm excited to get them in-hand!
  9. Yes and no, I'd say. The Harry Potter series used a lot of variants of the main cast in outfits very similar to what was already/previously available. And some other themes, like Fortnite or Animal Crossing, have a lot of characters they could use without feeling too redundant. Though I do agree with the idea that "if you're not a fan of the license, it's a total miss."
  10. Happy to help! Though I'm sure if you just want one set, you should be able to find it on eBay, Bricklink, or Facebook Marketplace without too much hassle for around (or even less) than retail, if that's easier. best of luck! Thanks for the confirmation! After thinking about it, I was pretty sure that was the case, but I just wanted to be sure I wasn't forgetting something. Cheers!
  11. Wait, what? Dang it. I've been ordering from them to split with my friends for awhile - even here in the states, it's about the best deal there is if you're getting a lot. And I've never seen them sell out of preorders before, even on ones like the Disney 100 series. Hopefully they open up preorders again soon... EDIT: I checked their Facebook page, and it says that they will open for preorders "soon." So, hopefully the fact that it says they're out of stock is just a "placeholder" before they open up orders? I think that could have even happened for some previous series? I really hope they didn't completely sell out faster than a BDP castle... That could the the case, but that would also mean three unique molds for what could be done with one, so I'm not counting on it.
  12. Dang - that's a fantastic CMF wave! Sure, there's a handful that are a little strange to me, but there's a lot that I really love. I'll easily be getting a set for myself, and I might want extras of about half of them. The only thing that could make these trip at the finish line is if some of those new parts end up being rubber - I could see the antler hood going that way, but hopefully most of them are hard plastic. Can't wait for them!
  13. Maybe it's a 2 in 1 build, and it would come with enough parts to build either Bo's helmet, or Jango? Or parts for even more customizability?
  14. If they're not revealed by then, it won't be long before photos leak out anyways. Most CMF's leak or are revealed about a month before release, so either way we'll be getting photos soon.
  15. I got my Snack Shack and Mountain Fortress yesterday. I opened the Snack Shack to check for stickers, and mine were there (Mountain Fortress is still sealed, though, since it won't have any stickers). And in all of the previous iterations of the programs, I haven't had any issues with missing parts or stickers. I've noticed that happen with most of my regular lego.com orders, but I've noticed that they often ship my BDP sets in separate boxes. My two sets from this wave were in different boxes, for example: the Mountain Fortress in a tight, fitted box, and the Snack Shack loose in a bigger box. One corner was dented, but I'm honestly not too concerned about my box quality. As long as it doesn't look like it's been through a wood chipper, I mostly just care about the bricks.
  16. I got my tracking info yesterday - and it looks like my sets should be arriving tomorrow! That's pretty quick turnaround for me. Very excited to get them!
  17. They send the bricks, but they don't send out boxes for those early reviews. Most of the time, the instructions aren't finalized either. They did have come box art for some of the Series 1 wave at Brickworld, but I don't know if those count towards the total number produced or not.
  18. Funnily enough, there's already a Lego plague doctor design thanks to Fortnite. He's even one of the NPC characters in the game mode, so he's not exactly hidden!
  19. I think it's more likely that he gets the buildable figure treatment again. Him growing big is pretty iconic to the scene and adds a lot of playability. At the very least, they could throw in a microfigure without breaking the budget. A regular minifig is more likely to be passed, though.
  20. I would like to get my hopes up for Belle/the Beast again... But I've had my hopes about that dashed for too long for me to keep much hope for her. I imagine a good number will be minidolls again, sadly. Either way, we've gotten set numbers and names for Ninjago and Star Wars, so maybe we'll get more info before too long.
  21. I got a charge to my card at the beginning of the month for both of these sets, which is no longer there. Both of my sets are still "In Warehouse." I even called yesterday to make sure there wasn't any issues with the charges being dropped, but they said it should be fine and that they should ship by the end of the week... What's funny is that those same sets got sent to someone else who lives relatively close to me, and they've listed them on Facebook Marketplace for sale already. So, I guess it's not location-based? I also ordered early, so I don't think they're sending them out in that order. I do wonder what the logic is...
  22. Now that we have more photos of Bob's set... It's a pass for me. I don't like the scratched/weathered look of his torso, and neither of those other figures are appealing to me. Ah, well.
  23. Thanks for the info, Foggy! But, oof... Those prices/part counts are rough. I know Lego's not cheap, nor is Lego Star Wars in general, but I have to do adult things like paying rent that come first, and I have to be selective of what Lego I can budget. That being said, I hope Dooku can slip into one of those sets... He's a major villain in multiple movies and a TV series, and he hasn't been in a set in a decade!
  24. If the set was closer to $100, I might keep it on my radar, even if it's not something I would normally get (which is how I ended up betting Winnie the Pooh and Sesame Street). $200 is too much for me to get on a whim - especially with so many other sets coming out.
  25. Dang... For the most part, I'm not a fan of the long armed and legged minifigs, but I have to admit that it looks really good on Jack! Probably because he is so tall and skinny in the movie. I wonder if they would reuse TLBM's Joker coattails in black for Jack? I'm by no means a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan - most of my affection for it comes from Kingdom Hearts, if I'm honest - but I'm interested to see what the rest of the crew looks like.
