Droideka is 18+ My vote is for Boushh Leia, unless the one unknown diorama set is indeed Jabba’s Palace -

This is the dream 2025 at the earliest, unless Sail Barge rumors are false. Tbh I wouldn’t mind dropping a UCS set every other year if it meant an MBS set once every two years. Ewok Village, Echo Base, Cloud City all reserve remakes, Jabba’s Palace, Yavin Temple, Petranaki Arena, Theed Palace, Jedi Temple, come on Lego. -

Hate Marvel but the Avengers Tower looks phenomenal and I get jealous, I wish LSW wasn’t so damn focused on ships when its locations are just as iconic. Cantina released three years ago, where’s our version of Rivendell? -

Expensive non-adult Lego sets are largely designed for adults to buy for their kids. As such, a kid’s $100 R2D2, which is something a kid is familiar with, and a Malak, which is something the adult buying the set is familiar with, is a convenient two birds one stone approach. It’s also the reason Indiana Jones sets from RoTLA exist, nostalgic parents buy sets that remind them of their youth for their children, it’s certainly not because the younger generation has watched the classics -

With Invisible Hand leaking, I believe that leaves one diorama and possibly one buildable figure as the two remaining unknown adult sets next year. -

With most of the Disney plus shows pushed to late 2024 or 2025, there’s certainly room for a lot of remakes and catch-up sets for Mando S3/Ahsoka -

Perhaps he means exclusive figs a la the 2019 20th anniversary figs are going to be paired up with certain sets again? -

Didn’t Falcon1414’s leak hint at three remaining unknown sets? There were pictures suggesting we’re still getting a diorama, a midi scale, and a buildable figure. Releasing one diorama next year seems off. -

Plenty of mocs you could look into that make a screen accurate T6 that doesn’t break the bank. Most even use the base playset as a foundation. For what it is, a set for nine year olds to spin its wings to their heart’s content, it’s fine and it does its job well. -

TBoBF was not anywhere near as popular as Mando and was not well received. It would be stranger if it did receive a set. -

The sets are certainly designed for kids so they’re definitely for kids. Besides, ships don’t lose their cool factor for children just because some time has lapsed. If anything, there’s too many adult sets on the market hogging up space for kids, it’s sad to see. -

The new midi scale line would’ve been a perfect opportunity to do a Chimera, rather than doing yet another Falcon for adults when there’s already a UCS and playscale version on the market. I feel a playset Chimera won’t do it justice. -

Putting a new product behind another set’s $650 paywall is a horrible way to gauge interest in the product that is secondary to the main one you’re buying. -

I am not making any distinction between “adult” and “18+”, I am using the terms the way Lego marketing uses them, they are synonymous terms. Play sets by this logic would be called “kids” sets, as they are the intended audience, just as adults are the intended audience of “18+” sets, regardless of the fact that anyone in any age group can buy any set in any age range. I’m far more interested in the latter. I also didn’t say anything to contradict your claim that we have no information on summer sets, I merely stated the truthful observation that adult sets usually don’t release during this time frame -

Perhaps, but I think all the photos on the survey were just rough works in progress. A sail barge does make sense though, with the Cantina retiring next year, it’s an MBS-like set to replace that void. This year, the only non-UCS adult set that released in the summer was the buildable Chewbacca. We currently don’t know the identity of at least one diorama, and one other set (possible another buildable figure) but we do know the rest. -

We already have a thread for 2024 sets. We actually know almost all the adult sets releasing next year, which is kinda crazy. There’s only room for maybe ~2 more unknown dioramas, and perhaps one more non diorama/UCS set to round out next year’s adult display catalogue. I agree with you about releasing more minifig-centric sets, you’ll be happy to know we’re getting the Sail Barge next year which will almost certainly come with a big, eclectic cast of characters like the Cantina. I really wish Lego would go back to releasing MBS sets every two years, I know that Star Wars is more vehicle-centric, but I look at themes like Harry Potter, which I don’t care for or collect, and see sets like Diagon Alley, Hogwarts Express, and the new Gringotts Bank and I get jealous of all the wonderfully detailed, location-based sets they get. -

Feels like a moot point considering they’ve already done around the leg printing for LSW figs like the UCS Landspeeder C-3PO. In fact, given that set is “merely” $240, it seems even more odd that they wouldn’t give the same treatment in a $650 set. -

Every UCS set since 2015’s Slave I has come with a figure that had at least one exclusive element. The character of Rex won’t be exclusive, but either the arm printing, face printing, or both will possibly remain exclusive to the set. The same applies to Yularen, they almost definitely won’t make a figure with his dual moulded legs again. -

I feel that if Marvel CMFs get printing around the legs, Star Wars figures in a $650 set absolutely deserve the same treatment -

Hasn’t next year’s MBS already rumored to be the Sail Barge? I’d kill for a Geonosis set but I don’t see Lego releasing two $350+ sets in the same year
