  1. IC: De'kra clicked, "If mage target XX, I will switch I target to Loren. Someone need to try to stop he from leave and emperor." OOC: he is still going to attack from the front row with Kapura no matter what, this will only affect target.
  2. IC: De'kra flinched as the powerful bomb shook the palace, and devastated the eemy forces. The smell of charred flesh lingered in the air, cast off the enemies. With a shudder De'kra clicked, "I will attack Lamorak from front row again." the echo steadied himself on Kapura, trying to stand despite the explosive actions of the "heroes."
  3. IC: The echo froze. De'kra turned to Nyx and clicked, "Please enact not."
  4. OOC: didn't our ally Skeleton Decoy die already? IC : De'kra felt relief as their knight cast his shield in front of the group. It had been a long time since De'kra had since a sentinel in action, and it's return could not have come at a better time. The heroes had a long way to go still, but victory seemed possible now. But perhaps that was just the soothing warmth of Kapura affecting his mind. "I will attack Sir Lamorak from front row," clicked the echo, "Leader, instead of rush in here perhaps you could use Opal to make exit seal by ice, so that foes can not leave palace as easily. Leave path in front of you open however, if you still plan to join heroes later."
  5. I am not sure exactly what creature De'kra would be, as he works best as a hypothetical fusion of a termite mound and an ant colony. Ant colony fits him more however.
  6. Actually I was the one planning to use a bat.
  7. IC: The echo watches in surprise as his blade not only makes contact with the foe, but slays him right then and there. Was his luck finally changing? If so what was the cause? But as De'kra paused to analyze the fortune of this battle, his mind began to slip to thoughts of the fallen. Forcing his attention back on the active battlet, De'kra clicked, "Thank you Luke, I would not have last long without your help. I will move to attack Blackernord, hopefully I battle performance remain good." De'kra took one last shuddering look at the rogue commander, before unsheathing Chiara. The echo sidestepped to the back row, before moving to attack Lord blackernord. OOC: this is completely off topic, but woohoo Zoey and Rythian won the round.
  8. IC: De'kra gazed at the approaching horde and clicked, "If heroes retreat, emperor will be lost. Heroes and I are stuck. Well done Lewa regardless." Knowing that row was pointless in this situation, De'kra charged in the front row at rogue lion commander C. As far as the echo considered it he would fall soon, he had suffered too much damage and as he had said going into it, there were bound to be casualties. Of course he would come back, which might be more than can be said for the Dastan warrior, who lay fallen in the very room. De'kra clutched Kapura drawing in as much comfort as he could from the cool flame. OOC: would some of the enemies have proven to be hostile to each other? Rolando did send us to kill Chimera cultists, so might his forces and the robots fought each other, along with us, if we had forced them into one room? OOC: so a hexed opponent is unable attack me no matter? Regardless of row?
  9. IC: De'kra nodded as he rubbed his head. Apparently that blow had harmed him more than he had thought, or perhaps the long campain in Dastan had finally begun to wear down on his senses. Quickly he changed his target to Commander B, flinging the bone from the back row as best he could. OOC: sorry about that
  10. De'kra nodded vaguely, as the feelings subsided. The echo tossed the bone at Rogue Lion Commander A with what strength he could muster, hopefully stopping the foe from dealing any damage. But this would only stall for time.
  11. IC: The echo slammed to the ground, his body throbbing. As he struggled to stand he could just about see something, just out of his field of vision. A glimpse, just a whisper, but enough to flare his eyes to a burning green. In truth he didn't recognize this demonic presence, at least not personally. But he had seen it before, of that there is no doubt. Memories of them had haunted him sincere had arrived on that mad isle of Uland! Perhaps...perhaps his luck might change if he moved to fight them... Forcing himself back to the battle, Dekra clicked, "It appear as though I "bad luck" in battle not about to go away. Perhaps I could use bone this turn while I hopefully get heal? Would that help, or at least stall enemy for time?"
  12. IC: De'kra nodded grimly, and targeted XX from the back row with Chiara. Kapura would do no harm to this foe, so it fell upon his electric dagger to deal the blow. Hopefully all would go well.
  13. IC: As De'kra raced towards the battle in the Throne Room, he spotted one of the pink paper objects floating at him. As he ran he leapt forward, and caught the item with a roll. As he flipped out of the roll and continued his sprint towards the skirmish, the echo signed up for the contest. OOC: good luck to all participants
  14. IC: De'kra couldn't help but notice Tarn's words. They did not sound like the words of Nidhiki, and certainly not Tuyet. They sounded more heroic, and genuine. There was raw emotion in Tarn's voice, he truly seemed to care for Phil and Ella. Perhaps De'kra had judged him a little too harshly. But it was so hard to tell, how much was too gulible, and how much too paranoid? Still, as De'kra looked back Tarn had not seemed like a bad person in Quest 20, so perhaps it was naivity that caused him to use that bomb, rather than apathy. De'kra could at least give him the benefit of the doubt. As he ran to the Throne Room he clicked with concern, "Strength your Spirit, Lewa, if any heroes can aid her, it is Nuparu and Cronk. I can not speak for Wiliam as I not know him, but I am certain he will only increase their strength. By way, when heroes and I arrive next turn, make sure Thothwick is heal. I know you have two healers among you, but if you not able to spare both, focus on him. I have better chance of survive hit at this time, he is higher priority."
  15. IC: De'kra sighed with relief that the plan was working, before he clicked to the heroes ahead, "Heroes and I will continue north toward battle. I must warn heroes present that heroes and I are quite damage, although I might be able to take one free hit from back row. So if you can, heal would be appreciate. Not sure what to enact about XX though, he not able to attack anyone but he still is able to move, and thus he is still threat." OOC: sorry to repeat this question, but since the original is swallowed up by text I feel the need to ask this once more. Could a Rogue in the scenerio use Flee to travel to another room without taking free hits?
  16. IC: De'kra nods at Arthur, and throws down the Smoke Bomb. "Good luck Heroes," the echo clicked, as he followed Skralls advice and headed north by the back row towards the throne room. OOC: I am not sure row mattered since I am using a smoke bomb, but it bares mentioning. By the way, could a Rogue flee a room in this scenario, and thus avoid free hits in movement?
  17. IC: De'kra shuddered before he clicked, "No one is useless, no matter what. Even if person is insane, they will still have use. They insanity might give them unique perspective, madness can be present among good people along and bad. Even simple errand runner might know great secret that can change world, and so-call savage beasts might be noble intelligent entitiesa that will save heroes if heroes only ask. If deity claim that someone has no use, no worth; I would be very wary about that deity." The echo shook his head vaguely in disgust, and clicked something to himself.
  18. IC: De'kra turned towards the approaching Arthur and clicked, "You are right, someone has to try to help her. Emperor might be main objective, but Ella is person too. Enact what you can, and any luck Chimera guards will follow heroes and I to emperor. And with multiple healers heroes and I would have better chance of victory. Just...be careful Nuparu."
  19. Curse my IPad's auto correct, I meant wishes.

  20. Thank you for the warm wines, sorry for the late reply.

  21. IC: De'kra held Chiara at the ready, in preparation of the current attack. "Grand Leader Skrall," clicked the rogue as he prepared for the last planned attack of the southern defenders, "Unless Cronk summon his summon second time, heroes in entrance will flee by smoke bomb after this round. As leader of all heroes present, where you think heroes should fog then? I think main priorities of heroes are kill Rolando and protect good emperor, so which you think heroes should go to? If you think it necessary, heroes could split into two groups and each group go to different objective."
  22. IC: De'kra clicks in frustation' yet still he missed his foe. And soon they would all die from these Chimera guards. With a grim nod De'kra commented, "Heroes in south not last much longer. I suggest heroes all target Lord Blakenord this round, so that rest of heroes might not need to worry about him. Then, I will use smoke bomb, and heroes will try to flee to safety. I suggest heroes flee to aid heroes attack Rolando, as those heroes wound too. That way all together heroes might be able to enact some success. Hopefully heroes in throne room to endure, but they still well rest, and heroes not able to immediately aid everyone. One heroes cold go to try to help Ella, but it risky. What other heroes think?" The echo got to work targeting blackenord from the front row, knowing that Cronk's summon should protect him while he and Chiara attack.
  23. ...I am loving Quest 41 right now. Maybe it is the childhood of Redwall books talking, but wildlife + medieval weaponry = good.
  24. IC: De'kra was knocked back, sparks flying off of Chiara. He was in quite a bit of bad luck, luck the likes of which he had not had since Quest 4, if memory served. But why? His skills had vastly improved from that early beginning, and so much of his memory had returned. So why was he failing so epically? The foes he faced were not too strong, yet he faltered against them. Why? As he got to his feet, the echo clicked, "Heroes, next turn all of heroes in south entrance will suffer free hits. And I am not sure how long heroes could hold out unde those conditions. What Skrall think heroes should enact? I possess smoke bomb so heroes could flee, but it would leave entrance unguard and make it easier for foes to attack targets. I not sure if this could work, but maybe group could run in different directions after smoke bomb use, half go to aid in assult on Rolando, and other half go to protect emperor or engage Chaos beasts. Or heroes could try to hold out longer in front. What you suggest? If you have no suggest or you want heroes to try to weaken enemies, I will target Chimera B from back row, one last time." OOC: could the heroes run in different directions after using a smoke bomb?
  25. I am going to have to destroy my old battle droids. Everywhere I look I see Chimera Guards multiplying snd resurrecting. All with hideous soulless eyes!
