So is Ninjago getting another season or not? Because I have been getting conflicting news, and I honestly have no clue.- 4,591 replies

I was disappointed too. The dialogue was...poor at best, and I felt no attachment to Laval. I didn't really get a personality from him, or any real flaws. He just didn't seem there. The whole thing with Cragger's parents made no sense to me from any angle, so I won't talk on it. I am particularly let down by the ravens. The way I pictured them when I first heard of the theme was as apathetic tricksters, like the Raven of native american mythology. I theorized that they might have started this war behind the scenes, to weaken the other tribes to advance their own standing further. They would pretend to be subordinate to the wolves and crocs, but in the later stages of the war they would betray their allies. I was let down to say the simpliest.

De'kra replied to Arthur by the way, if you missed it.

IC: De'kra suddenly realizes a message has been sent by the journal. Quickly he reads over it, concern growing. Finally he replies; Racing to the other heroes in the hall, De'kra clicked, "I receive message from Quest 53. It appears Wren might come here, if questing heroes understand right. Might anyone here have heard of something call Doors of Chaos?"
-
IC: De'kra startles from his wonderment, to find something before him. As a mysterios red clothed orc shimmies away, the echo reaches for it shakily. It is a Kanohi, a mask of his home. "Arthur," he smiles as he grips the mask. It feels...right. Its carves in the shape of a Kanohi Mask of X-Ray Vision, though he can feel that its power is different. Casrefully he stroked the Kanohi, before mounting it upon his face. OOC: A sidewise Aviator helmet works pretty well.
-
Just curious, what are the exact powers of the Kanohi Mask? Is it if I cast a light spell with Kapura, it will also deal fire damage? And electric with Chiara? Or is it something else entirely?

Oh yeah, I read that book for a class too. It was okay, though it wasn't for me.

IC: De'kra replied slowly, "I not sure what birthday is, but it day I first was made, like day when a bird hatches."
-
IC: De'kra looked puzzled about something, before he clicked, "I not know, voice know more than I. But today is something familiar, if that make sense. This was a special day, a day of beginnings. The say...the day I began." OOC: I am so glad I remembered this.
-
IC: De'kra nodded and clicked, "Yeah. Only holiday back home we have Naming Day, where people who achieve great things are given new names in honor of deeds. Usually names were similar, like Jala became Jaller. " "It isn't the only day. There is tomorrow." De'kra paused at the voice, a tone just about audiable.
-
IC: De'kra clicked, "I call myself De'kra, though you might be think of Hyros. Though we are of different species, there is resemblance. I not sure what to think about it, it seem niceto give people gifts, but then why restrict event to only one day of year?" OOC: just saw wreck it Ralph. OOC: also wrote a quick Legend of Zelda short story last night. Sleep is for the weak!

IC: De'kra turned as he heard another hero try to start a conversation. "Sure," he replied, "Although I am not sure what to talk about...you have any thoughts to that Grogmass thing?"
-
IC: De'kra sighed as he gazed at the world outside the hall. There was...a disturbance. He could feel it, somewhere in Uland, or beyond the Crystalline Sea. "What is this?" he questioned to the voices. "I do not know." "Perhaps it is the coming day." "What day?" De'kra asked, but he received no response. Instead he felt a smile licking at his spirit, wrapping it in a loving embrace.

A scroll entitled the Scroll of the Thoughful Genius. Causes the effected to dream up brilliant ideas. (asleep effect for three rounds then inspired effect for duration of a battle) Sent to Arthur, to help him come up with new inventions and plans, receive new inspiration, and hopefully give him the time to think carefully before he makes a rash decision, a decision like De'kra has made in the past.

I don't know, I feel like Korra was handed Energybending in a way more blatant Deus Ex Machine than Aang. Aang had three seasons of growth, we really got to see him at his greatest and weakest before we saw him achieve his full power. To have Korra receive energybending now, after one book, (and a short book at that) it just doesn't feel right to me. And of course from what I pick up, there was a love triangle that was...not well executed. Although it is good to hear that the Equalists had some honorable people, I had not picked that information up. And I also have nothing against the three young Airbenders. -

See one of the big reasons I can't bring myself to watch it is that from what I learn second hand, it seems like they try to create a gray verses gray atmosphere, but it fails. Like that the Equalists are seen as completely bad, justifying Korra's actions in a way, while there are legitimate concerns about treatment. Again I haven't seen it for myself, but that is my impression. The other issue I have is with the ending. In my opinion, book one should have ended with Korra still only able to do Airbending. Instead, book two would have involved her going on a spiritual journey to regain her bending, perhaps aided by Aang as Roku before him. A side effect could be that earth, water, and fire bendrs could be lossing comtrol of their powers without the avatar being able to bend. This could further the bender-non-bender divide. Of course I might be a hypocrite for being okay with Airbender's season three finale, but in my defense Aang's journey was all but completed then, so at the least it didn't deprive him of much development. And I suppose one could make a case that it was hinted that bending could be stolen (Ty Lee) and the Lion Turtle wasn't completely out of left field. (library, blue spirit) -

Yeah, Almei was my start of darkness. They were just too freaking adorable for me to resist. And they both kick butt, so they fulfill the necessary battle couple appeal. But yeah, I tend to ship realistic things, like Momo and Appa. I'm telling you, Appa was teaching Momo how to airbend. There is no other way he could have "glided" up the wall of Ba Sing Se at a ninety degree angle. Not to mention that save when he caught Aang. By the way, any thoughts about Legend of Korra? I was a big fan of Airbender, but I just can't get into Korra. -

Something I always worried about in Fullmetal Alchemist is that we know they can transmute elements. The only reason they don't transform objects into gold is because it would destroy the economy. And since their world is at an alternate 1914-1915, I can't help but wonder what would happen once they discover uranium, if they could synthesis it as well. It would create cheap powerful fuel for technology, but Alchemists could potentially create nuclear bombs from scratch. A single Alchemist could wipe out a city. Speaking of which; (spoilers for those who haven't seen the end.) -
IC: De'kra tried not to be too obvious that he also was curious as to what Arthur had to say, always interested in knowledge.

Man I love/loved Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It always felt kind of...real to me, you know. I mean not the alchemy or philosopher stone bits, but I felt like it was kind of like a story about life. Does that make sense? I tend to space out at FMA Brotherhood. To this date it is the only series I watched completely twice, as I have an obsessive complusion not to watch "younger" parts of a story, a.k.a the start. But my love of it overpowers the oc. Plus this was the series that pushed me towards shipping. (Greeling Fan, Almei, Edwin, Royai) Which reminds me, I need to rewatch the episodes again. -
IC: De'kra watches as Arthur leaves suddenly, just before the woman with similar taste in hats enters. After she leaves he clicks to the Metasimian. "Many things about Eubric are still strange to I, but that was...just plain freaky?" OOC: this reminds me, I should begin a holiday tradition of watching all of Raven's saga.
-
IC: De'kra returned to the hall, having left shortly after the recent temporal anomaly. There was a heaviness in his walk, as well as in his drooping head. Looking about he spotted Arthur, and clicked, "Greetings Nuparu, I assume you will be go on that Wren quest?" His voice was hard to read, but he seemed worried about something.

Good to hear, I'm glad the work and lessons I learned over the semester seemed to have paid off.

IC: De'kra enters the marketplace, and leaves a small note enscribing:
-
IC: De'kra clicked, "I...honestly not sure what you mean. It different in I world, time only move one way: forward. Sometimes you can slow it and freeze people, though that is Vahi, and there is only one. Sometimes you can bring you past forward, but that only create new worlds base on your past and they remember nothing, and sometimes you can accelerate it and turn people to dust. But you can never go back in time, or change it. Time only move forward, though some realities slower than others. Only break Vahi could undo that, though it would make future, past, and present one and none. Speak of which, you think it might be because of Quest 21, time travel quest that was never finish? Could fact that heroes never complete their mission in past be destabilize time?"
