  1. What does "danage" mean?
  2. IC: De'kra stares in shock as light erupts from his blade, striking into the golem. Its rocky skin absorbed the blow with ease, but some loose chunks fell. He had managed to damage the foe. He...he was using an elemental power. Grabbing Chiara with a sort of rising excitement, he channeled a blast of light from the back row. OOC: Um, I think spells have full effect even in the back row. That is what it lists in the rules anyway.
  3. IC: De'kra nods shakily, as he attempts a Light Spell from the back row, using Chiara to channel the strike. OOC: just lost faith in humanity today, should set up my mood.
  4. So I was right. I am not the best with da rules, so if I do mess up, feel free to tell me.
  5. OOC: Ignore the original version of this post. IC: De'kra clicked, "I sorry if I wrong, but since I go to back row to fight, I worry my power will not be enough to damage him. I....suppose I could try to channel light at him, but I have not done that before."
  6. IC: De'kra pauses and clicks, "Um, I not sure I can help here, I not really able to damage him. Um, put me in back of battle order. If someone get damage, I will use potion on them. I will do it by first one wounded. Make sense leader?"
  7. IC: De'kra nods in agreement, and begins to repeat his last attack.
  8. IC: De'kra looks with minor shame at the scroll and offers, "Alternatively I could use grand potion on you, if you prefer that."
  9. Anyone else get the reference Arthur is making?
  10. IC: De'kra paused, he had never tried to seal something before. Hoping Arthur's trust hadn't been misplaced he grabbed the scroll, and attempted to seal the lava golem from the back row. He doubted it would affect much, Mizuki would probably slaughter the beast in one go regardless. Softly he ventured, "What are golems anyway?"
  11. IC: De'kra nods, and with Chiara in hand he moves after Firefly B from the back row. Even so he marvels at the power of Mizuki, slaughtering every foe in her wake. It is...disturbing, to say the least, but effective. OOC: someone just pointed out to me some of the problems with tv tropes, I am now unsure what to do. I almost noticed these issues before but, it's so obvious in hindsight.
  12. IC: De'kra repeats his action, twirling about Chiara in anticipation.
  13. I know, Transformers Prime was great. I feel like all the fans who were still enraged because animated got canceled hurt its chances, so I blame everyone who preferred animated and generation one. Young Justice could have ended so much better, but I already went into that. One small change that could have helped might have been to put the scene describing how at least Asami and Tye are still together. And dating, as it turns out. Doing that won't have done much, but since that scene was already designed it won't have been hard. And it would have improved the bit about the traitor sligfhtly, though not much. I still say everyone is infected by a new breed of the starfish virus. Although in other news there is a massive movement to continue Young Justice and Green Lantern in some capacity, so there might be hope, if CN/WB have any common sense. I don't know if it will work, but hey, blaze of glory is better than dying whimper.
  14. IC: De'kra is unsure why he didn't attack last time, he must have been distracted. He quickly shited to the back row, and readied Chiara. Spinning his blade, he moved to attack Firefly B.
  15. IC: De'kra clutches his head as his clothing reforms, coiling around him. Shaking it off he shifted to the back row, and readied Chiara. Hoping that the seal would work, he moved to attack Firefly B. OOC: I believe we can do conditionals right? .
  16. IC: De'kra swallowed the remedy, hopefully just in time. As the flames extinguished one could see his entire body was ebony black, a strange gas in the form of a human. No...that wasn't right. As the fire died down some lights remained, scattered over his body. Some green, some red, some orange or blue. Tiny specks, glowing embers that cast away his dark form. And yet, there was no difference in shape or definition to his two "eyes." OOC: anyone know Eternity from Marvel?
  17. IC: De'kra nods, and prepares to repeat his actions from the prior round.
  18. OOC: 27 is right IC: De'kra nodded, waiting for orders. As he stood in pain, flames continued to tear apart his clothing. Armor cracked and melted away, and his cloak faded to ash. As everything was tore apart, De'kra's ebony body was exposed. It was a black form, but not entirely opaque. His body was...like a cloud, gaseous although in human form. As his ebony shape burned, there were sparks of light coming from him, alien to the fire.
  19. Okay so apparently there was some stuff cut from the episode that might have redeemed it. For instance they had planned some resolution for the runaways. (speaking of which, headbands is canon. Technically I prefer to ship the four of them as a group, but I have absolutely no objections. Headbands!) Now to consider whether or not to start a third fan fiction, detailing the runaways reforming to deal with pretty much all the heroes being infected with a version of that technomagic starfish things from season 1. (My theory is that the things were on the virus pods Luther gave out, allowing them to affective everyone at once. But since no one can be mind controlled like in season 1 thanks to the Team, the new batch will only influence their behavior, so that the team and the legue slowly dissolve under inner turmoil, and the Lightr losses their main threat. And that was why everyone was out of character in the finale.)
  20. OOC: yes yes, I was hoping to be burnt. IC: De'kra winced as fire blasted into him, igniting his robes. He stumbled back as an inferno washed over him, a dancing flood of crimson glow. His body tensed, as his cloak burnt to a charred black. The cloth crumbled from the warm embrace, as ashes swirling up from the typhon of fire. Wincing, De'kra held back as he crushed Chiara in his hands from the pain. As he leapt at Flamboa A, the echo clicked, "I will hold out as long as I can."
  21. So anyone else saw the finales for Young Justice and Green Lantern? I watched them with my younger sister, and it was...different. She kind of ended up freaking out during both shows, clutching my arm till it hurt, and screaming bloody murder among uncontrollable sobs and hysterical nervous-laughter. She wasn't doing well.
  22. IC: De'kra nodded in thanks to Maurice and said, "Right, I will attack Flamboa B from back row, and I will use Chiara to do it. I...not sure I ever see so many powerful foes at once, with so few heroes. It-good luck." The echo twirled his back-up sword in his hand, ready to engage the snake. OOC: I am very upset with the treatment of Wally and more importantly the runaways in endgame. They would not break up like that, not to mention they didn't get any lines except for the traitor. And we still have no idea where Asami is from! Now I am left with my twisted head canons for her, which might as well be accurate now! And let's not forget, they won't splinter, they were too close. It was just cheap to have that traitor join the team, just because of who he is. Cheap!
  23. I thought the Banana Bladerang was one of the weapons that doubled as throwing and melee.
  24. IC: De'kra dipped his head with respect, "Of course, I apologize if that sound wrong. I was unsure as to how much control she had left. I would respect her regardless, I have seen all too many noble spirits become consume by parasites to blame affected. We lost a village once to parasitic face-huggers. Do you have an advice on how to act in her pressence? What does she value, what virtues does she hold dear, so we know what lines to avoid? I am afraid I people skills are not best, so if there something I can do, please tell I." OOC: I was thinking of the lobster-scorpion torturing Valoo.
  25. So if Arthur is dead., do you have a new character just in case?
