  1. Has Lego ever specified where they draw the line for what will and won’t be covered in sets? To me, it looks like sex, nudity, drugs, alcohol, gore, excessive profanity and excessive violence are all big no’s for them. But they seem to be willing to bend the rules somewhat for 18+ sets, such as Suicide Squad Harley, Batman Returns, Daredevil, Punisher, and Blade. edit: And some characters have wide enough appeal that they’re just given a pass, namely Joker and Wolverine.
  2. Creature Commandos is reportedly releasing next year. How many sets y’all think we’ll be getting for this? 😂 edit: other sources are saying 2025. Regardless, I’m sure we’ll get a full wave. 😂
  3. Found it, thanks. I was pretty sure from that first picture it was bright light orange. Now I’m less certain. Guess we’ll have to wait for official pictures.
  4. Where did you see the alternate face? I can’t find it in the usual place.
  5. November 14th official reveal. November 24th official release.
  6. That wouldn’t work either. Rogues has white hair at the top of her head, not white streaks in her bangs. The big issue though is the piece they used. The hairpiece for Agatha Harkness would have been so much better.
  7. Huh. I always assumed it was because they didn’t want anyone making nude figures, or they wanted to not make it so easy. Guess that’s not it. But that still doesn’t explain why they keep using bright light orange in the superhero theme for characters where yellow would be more appropriate: Wolverine in the mech, Cyclops in the 2014 Blackbird, Reverse Flash, Rogue, etc. Dual molding would have been preferred to what we got, but the hips would still need the lower part painted/printed yellow. Apparently though, yellow hips isn’t an issue in the first place so it’s a moot point.
  8. That’s definitely (and unfortunately) bright light orange. And I would count on Lego using the same color for Cyclops given that they seem to have a rule against making yellow hip pieces (and this forum is showing that their concerns were justified.)
  9. Still works. It’s a shame Rogue wasn’t in the CMF and Storm or Beast in the jet. Rogue definitely needed dual legs and leg printing which is rare outside of CMFs.
  10. It’s a challenge. No pistachios, almonds, or cashews in November.
  11. Poor guy couldn’t make it one day into November. 😔 Glad to see Rogue is coming in the Blackbird. Printing and hair piece choice leave something to be desired, but that’s par for the course if not a birdie.
  12. Color scheme aside, the new modular museum bears a resemblance to the X-Men mansion from the cartoon. Obviously there are some differences, but it makes me wonder if they might take more inspiration from the movies or the comics to help differentiate the two buildings.
  13. There’s a Blackbird coming out with only three of the four figures confirmed and the other strongly rumored to be Storm. There’s a Quicksilver figure coming in an unknown set. Quicksilver was an X-Men in the films and has been featured in the comics and cartoons. Storm has lighting bolts, white hair, and wears white or black. Quicksilver has lighting bolts, white hair, and wears gray (black + white). Quicksilver is the son of Magneto. Magneto is in the Blackbird. I think it’s safe to say that Quicksilver is the fourth figure in the Blackbird. Mystery solved gang.
  14. I can’t see us getting anything from the Nolanverse in the near future. Next year it looks like we’re getting sets based on BtAS. 2025, we’ll get sets for The Batman part 2 and maybe Superman Legacy. That said, I would love a minifgure scale Bat with Bane and Catwoman and a Batpod with Two Face. Batmobiles and minifigures based off of Batman Forever and Batman and Robin would be great too, but I don’t see that happening.
  15. The cancelled thing was just a joke, lol. Probably should have made that clear.
  16. Nope. It’s legit. Set will include Batman and Klarion the Witch Boy. 😝 In all seriousness though, I believe TandNBricks has a pretty solid track record.
  17. So, we’ve got: - Gotham City skyline (includes Batman, Joker, Harley, and Catwoman) - something that’s close to a buildable figure (A mech? A Batcycle that the buildable figure can ride? IDK) - a BtAS Batmobile (possibly 4+) - 4+ set? - one other set (probably cancelled) Sounds like us Lego DC fans will be eating good again this year. 😕
  18. I can’t tell if you’re being serious or you’re just better at sarcasm than everyone else here. If we get mechs, it’s gonna be Batman, Joker, and either Harley Quinn, Penguin, or Riddler. Shove the photos of their children and grandchildren off the fireplace mantle and restore the glorious Joker bust to its proper location.
  19. Lego Batman Unbuildable Figure confirmed!!! 😝 But seriously, could this mean mechs? Like over at Marvel.
  20. Homelander never fought Batman, but he should. That would be cool.
  21. How many of the DC sets will be based on Batman. 🤔 Couldn’t be all five, could it? 😝
  22. I wouldn’t count on it. We got 5 Batman sets back in 2012 and only managed to get 7 of Batman’s rogues. And I don’t see Lego prioritizing Mad Hatter and Ventriloquist over guys like Riddler and Two Face who are household names and haven’t been on shelves for four years. Add to that, Lego seems to have lost faith in this theme, and I’d say we’d be lucky to get Two-Face and Riddler. But man, I’d love a BtAS CMF to coincide with the release of the art set.
  23. Not that I’m complaining, but it’s kinda funny how we’re getting sets for BtAS next year when there’s (maybe) a new Batman cartoon coming out. Since there’s five sets including the art display, I could see us getting the Batcave, a Batmobile, a Batwing, and then another 4+ set that is just another Batmobile because why not. Joker will probably be a repeat from the art set which leaves maybe 2 “new” villains in the other sets. Probably just getting my hopes up here though, given how things have been going with this theme.
  24. That’s assuming they 1) don’t skip the giant (modular?) building for a year to focus on other things. 2) don’t break from the movies. They could release a comic based modular that doesn’t tie into the movies such as Oscorp or Avengers Mansion. 3) don’t give it to DC for that year. 2025 will see the release of Superman: Legacy and The Batman Part 2, both of which could arguable carry a giant set more easily than Marvel’s fourth attempt at the Fantastic 4.
  25. Giant Venom bust to follow up on the widely successful Black Panther bust.
