  1. Not a high hurdle to leap, if we’re being fair here.
  2. Maybe. He has worn an eyepatch in the past. Can’t say I recognize the rest of the outfit though. But, even if that is Wolverine, it’s still a bizarre choice to go with that design over… well, just about any other costume. The fact we’re sitting here debating if it’s him or not just shows they could have picked a more iconic design. I mean, it could mean they’re planning on making physical variants of those characters. And I would love for that to be the case. But if ten years of artwork and video game designs and those animated DC movies Lego used to release has taught us anything, it’s that artists will draw and design what they want to and just because we see a drawing or animation of a minifigure, that doesn’t mean we’ll be seeing that figure in physical form.
  3. Man, that’s an odd selection of characters. No Thanos, Iron Man, Wolverine, Cyclops, or Magneto but Psylocke and Domino and Gamora make the cut? And Gamora, Antman, Hulk, Black Widow, and Taskmaster are all comic inspired while Captain America, Captain Marvel, Hawkeye, and Kate Bishop are all MCU.
  4. Rocket’s creator IS the REAL monster.
  5. Lego has spend too much time asking what they can turn into a buildable figure and not enough time considering if they should. The more I see that buildable Rocket, the more I side with the High Evolutionary.
  6. What no set pictures does to a megablocker. 😔
  7. This is nothing. The first wave of Infinity Saga sets were on the shelves before we got official pictures of them. And leaked images didn’t even show up until two weeks before release, if memory serves correctly.
  8. For me, it’s those eyes. Those haunting, lifeless, soul-piercing eyes.
  9. Better images of buildable Rocket just leaked. And it’s just as horrifying as expected.
  10. … classic Electro, Raven, classic Loki, classic Iron Man, classic Ultron …
  11. We are slowly working our way to a comic accurate classic Electro. 😁
  12. Looks better than I would have expected. But I had zero expectations for this. Hopefully this means Blackbird pictures will leak soon.
  13. Same. The flat head would actually work pretty well too for a Sentinel.
  14. I did. Agree with you on the Taxi set, but I was able to sell it for a pretty good price on Bricklink.
  15. In the Nolan films, sure, it’s pretty boring. Elsewhere, it’s typically a creepy gothic skyscraper with a giant golden ‘W’ at the top. I was thinking they could base it just off The Batman and have stories of his living quarters and the Batcave at the bottom. But, I also like the idea of having it “comic based” and drawing some inspiration from Batman Begins and Batman Forever by throwing in a Tumbler garage and a lab for Edward Nygma.
  16. Daily Planet would be my first choice, but, if I had to bet on what the big modular in 2025 will be, I’d go with Wayne Tower. It featured pretty prominently in The Batman and will probably be in the sequel too. (Given that Gotham is flooded, I wouldn’t be surprised if Batman just operates out of the tower). Plus, Batman is the safest choice out of all the properties coming out that year because, well, it’s Batman. Arkham Asylum would be my second bet, because it’s also iconic and features Batman who is always a safe choice.
  17. That would be awesome. Marvel is running out of buildings they can do and DC is well overdue for a turn.
  18. Assuming we even gets sets for Superman: Legacy. Which, hopefully we will.
  19. Once you go Rogue you never go back. Just like this forum.
  20. I was gonna say there’s no way we’d get her in minifigure form, but from the Funko Pop it looks like they toned her outfit down for the show. Toned it down a lot.
  21. I fully disagree. Getting comic based version of characters is never a waste of a slot.
  22. It’s Lego. It’s not too great to swallow any of it! There’s LITERALLY a choking hazard on the box! 🤣 Head would be the easier part. Legs and torso I would disassemble and swallow piece by piece. Probably best to crush the hip joints and the hands to remove any sharp or pointed edges.
  23. @BrickBob Studpants Just gonna leave this here for you. For future reference. https://truenorthbricks.com/2020/09/29/doctors-eat-lego-bricks/amp/
  24. There was once a while back when someone said we wouldn’t get sets that he suggested not to be so sure. And then a couple days back he said we would be getting movie based sets for a new movie released next year without specifying what. So nothing remotely confirmed, just speculation. You can put away the silverware… for now. 😜
  25. Obviously they’re taking advantage of X-Men ‘97’s release by making an X-Men mansion at the time of the shows debut. What I’m saying is they don’t have to restrict themselves to JUST making an X-Men ‘97 mansion. They can capitalize on all the past X-Men media instead of just limiting themselves to one show. Even if it’s just by throwing in popular X-Men characters who weren’t featured prominently or at all in the show but are still popular thanks to comics, movies, and other cartoons. Which makes sense for a set marketed at an 18+ crowd (because they will actually remember things like X-Men Evolution and the Fox films) but not for sets marketed at children. And we are talking about the X-Mansion here. This is like the Avenger’s Tower of the X-Men, and IMO it’d be a wasted opportunity if Lego just stuck to one cartoon for inspiration. As for the jet, we still haven’t seen the box or even whether or not Magneto is based on the show. I could see them taking inspiration from the movies for the interior design.
