  1. The bee keepers and hives are nice touch to the lovely gardens.
  2. Well done. Looks like you captured it very accurately.

  5. Wow, that is beautifully detailed and a rather accurate depiction.

  7. I could not afford to buy the original Fire Brigade modular so I created my own. I had a bucket of dark red SNOT parts available which sort of determined what it would look like. The large windows in the back are from sets I have that were bought in the 1970s.
  8. This looks great along side the light house.
  9. Fantastic build. So much detail.
  10. Thanks! I like the gazebo idea. We're planning on completely rearranging and joining this build with the bank and another similar gray and white building around a park. May have to buy or copy the gazebo out of the Rivendell build and add it to the park.
  11. This is a MOC I originally created back in November 2022. I wanted to create a building with an elegant sweeping staircase which forced it into a corner build in order to fit. I envisioned it as a high-end restaurant and jazz venue known as the "High Hat Club" with tailor shop on the first floor. I had no idea that Lego would come out with nearly the same thing in the Jazz Club only 3 weeks later. So, it was I reworked it a bit. Since it seemed a fitting item for bridal photos, I reworked it a bit dressing it up with a wedding taking place, swapped the tailor for a dress shop, and rearranged the 3rd level to add a dance floor. For fun, I submitted it to Lego Ideas (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/1fbdc116-52f2-4bd5-b29f-2c762ce1196e) but I honestly don't expect it to reach 10k. I would love to hear what this group thinks of it. Here is it added along the promenade of my Lego town.
  12. This is one of my wife's creations, the Bee B&B. She was determined to use those clunky castle turret parts (6066) as balconies on this build and create bedroom suites completely in pink and blue. The bee keepers on the rooftop is where the Bed & Breakfast gets its name.
  13. Nice part usage.
  14. Thanks. Thank you.
  15. Thank you so much!
  16. This project began life as a kinetic sculpture attempting to simulate the unique wing movement of a hummingbird as it hovers. I used transparent parts to recreate the shimmer of the Violet-Crowned Woodnymph as it flies and did my best to accurately portray the bird's wing movement when it hovers.. The bird can be displayed on or off the kinetic gearing, atop the basket handle or on its own. If you like this, check out this posting for it on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/8012b40d-008f-443d-a45a-7d11e081700b
  17. Nice! Love the details and sweepingly tall roof.
  18. Thanks. We wife bought the Jazz Club set just because it was part of the collection. I guess now we'll have rival pizza shops in our town.
  19. Thank you.
