[COR - FB - GOC] Hippodrome Elizabethville
Bricksbypidy posted a topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the new hippodrome of Elizabethville! Today we present to you a competition between four factions. In lane 1 Fabio Montinelli starts on behalf of Eslandola! In lane 2 I present to you Fabrice Dubois the forward man for Oleon! In lane 3 is starts on behalf of Corrington, Sir Peter Nash, Knight in the Order of Corrington! A highly skilled horseman. And finally in lane 4, Cromwell Huckabee will defend the honor of the Sea Rats!" *Cheering Audience* "Are all participants ready?! In 3, 2, 1, start!" And there they go! Cromwell Huckabee takes charge! At the first corner he distances himself more and more from the other three participants. Fabio Montilelli and Sir Peter Nash follow, followed by Fabrice Dubois!" *Screaming and cheering men and women* *Sea Rats supporters of Cromwell Huckabee go quiet... very quiet...* "Oh no! What's going on here...!! Summer Flower, Cromwell's horse comes to an abrupt halt! With a thump, Cromwell Huckabee falls to the ground. Summer Flower is leisurely nibbling on a juicy dandelion! Trying with all his might Cromwell still trying to push Huckabee into motion, but to no avail..." *Cursing Sea Rats in the stands* "Fabio Montinelli and Sir Peter Nash approach in the background, with Fabrice Dubois in tow. They pass Cromwell Huckabee, who pushes against the horse's bum, sighing and puffing. But to no avail..." *Unintelligible chants by angry Sea Rats* "Sir Peter Nash comes alongside Fabio Montinelli with the finish line already in sight! Peter encouraged his horse again and with a last effort he squeezed out another powerful final sprint." *A frenzied crowd of Corrington supporters* "And after a spectacular race, Sir Peter Nash, on behalf of Corrington, is finally the first to cross the finish line! Followed by Fabio Montinelli (Eslandola) and shortly behind him, Fabrice Dubois (Oleon). Cromwell Huckabee (Sea Rats) finally finished a few minutes later, when his horse Summer Flower trudged across the finish line satisfied." --- Will be licensed as a Royal Art & Culture in Elizabethville, by @SilentWolf The build will be purchased by @SilentWolf Completing GoC task 9.2 Equines for Elizabethville with this build. It had been a while since Peter Nash (architect) completed his last design assignment, the Rum Distillery in Jamestown. After completion of this factory, he said goodbye to Padre Azucar and made a journey through Myzectlan. Here he met the local population, the Myzec. Inspiring people with an even more fascinating culture! Peter also felt the need to design buildings again. So he traveled further to Elizabethville. The breeding ground of the best horses in the world. Horses were bred here for horse racing, among other things. Peter became acquainted with the local population and was soon asked if he wanted to design a horse breeding farm. And so it happened... "Howdy partner!" --- Will be licensed as a Large Commerce to Elizabethville, by @Bricksbypidy. Completing GoC task 9.1 Equines for Elizabethville with this build. The Seawatch Campaign - Coordination Thread

Major Brickleton finding and razing a Lotii fortified outpost in the jungle, nearby Seawatch. -
With the threat of war with the Lotii imminent, a detachment of Corlander Light Infantry from the 26th Foot were on patrol in the area surrounding Seawatch. The soldiers found traces of Lotii scouts of the Water Dragon Banner army in the dense jungle. After a long walk, deep into the jungle, the 26th Regiment of Foot indeed encountered a number of blue-jacketed Lotii warriors. Hidden in the thick undergrowth, they watched the warriors, alerting Major Sir Brickleton in the meantime. Brickleton immediately mobilized a number of light cavalrymen of the 18th Regiment of Hussars 'The Lightfoot' and rushed to the aid of the infantrymen deep in the jungle. Arriving there, they briefly consulted the infantry commander and it was decided they should attempt to eliminate the Lotii forces. Thus the attack was opened on the warriors, who fled into the dense jungle. The Corries pursued the scouts until they came to a fortified watchtower that loomed out of the mist next to a river. The Lotii outpost appeared to house a small training camp. Major Brickleton decided to seize the opportunity to level the outpost. The attack was opened and after a fierce battle the Lotii fled yet further into the jungle with their many wounded in search of a safer place. Following the Lotii retreat, Major Brickleton completed the destruction of the outpost by burning down the encampment. The battle was won, though Brickleton was concerned by the brazenness of the Lotii they had encountered. After this, the Corries went back to Seawatch, happy with this win. --- Will not be licensed. Life in the Myzectlan valley was pleasant. But the habitat was small. It was necessary to explore the jungle to discover new areas. The Myzec warriors explore the dense rainforest. Here dangers are defied, such as this rickety rope bridge. A mystical temple gate is discovered on the opposite side. What a strange place... What would it be? Who built this? There is even a smoldering fire and there are fresh fish and vegetables... --- Will not be licensed. Fun little scene! Love the brick bending tower technique. Haven't seen that before. It creates a cartoonish effect! Also love the splash in the water, and I'm surprised by the nougat beach. Looks good! -
The builds I've made are registered as free builds that also fits the GoC (the one without the EGS requirements). I would like to see more (new) GoC tasks WITHOUT the EGS requirements! Not sure if I'm really into shipbuilding, but maybe I'll give it a try. About the story builds... You can basically come up with your own storyline? And I can contribute to the Seawatch campaign with some (troop) builds. I already have some ideas.

The Seawatch Campaign - Coordination Thread
Bricksbypidy replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hey guys, how can I make a concrete contribution to this campaign? I don't quite understand the complete story (with all the characters...) (bad at English, sorry). -
I know, but I have 12 builds already since January 1, 2023. An average of 6 per month. We can only license 3.
