  1. I've had a Galaxy Squad: Vermin Vaporizer built since Christmas. What I've found that, especially slopes, is that they start developing cracks that become rather noticeable - is this normal? It seems like either the stud is too big or the piece is too small. I also found that in one of ADU figs (purely for display, was played with lightly about once) the torso nearly split half just by being connected to the legs.
  2. Trojan Progg, hear him... whine, moan, and complain.

  3. Eh, if I can fit 2,000 gold coins and a steel fan in one pocket, fitting an object the size of the moon shouldn't be too much for one cloak.
  4. "What in the name of Helvetia is wrong with you people?! Has all of your will left you, only be replaced by the voice of the darkstar? Focus on crushing these abominations! Blaoghel, back. If anyone could remedy me, it'd be appreciated.
  5. Nagure remedies Guts.
  6. "Oh, I'm well aware. I suppose I'd be more vulnerable to your oh-so scary remarks if it wasn't for the Diazepam. Sharpens the aim, dulls the fear. It is amazing what wonderful substances you can extract from those mushrooms... you don't think we Proggs just stole some mushrooms for the heck of it, did you? There is some... interesting rumors regarding The Regret. Some have seem him enter a catatonic state, going into a coma for days, his vital signs dropping to nothing; only to stir awake later. Some have seen his shadow just... vanish. It is all very interesting, but usually goes past nothing but lunchroom conversation."
  7. It'd be even more foul play because it is only free hits, not specials.
  8. "Oh, you don't know? I don't have to tell The Regret. Tell him yourself... he is almost always watching. Who knows..." Though it is indistinguishable, the party can nearly see that the Sniper was smiling underneath his face grid. He continues, his tone antagonizing. "...He may be listening now."
  9. QM Note: I don't mess with the dice - they are sacred. Nobody defies the Random Number Goddess and lives to tell the tale! I'll run when other people can place input.
  10. Man, that Sniper is luckier then any of you!

(25/2=13 damage) The party does well, wiping out both the arhcers and the Artillery Proggs. Crushed by seeing the death of his comrades, the Aerial Progg goes into an Air Raid, his wings flapping furiously as he rises in the air. With a savage roar he zooms past the entire party, taking care to stab each one with his tail. Three of their most formidable foes still stand, one of them containing 6 adversaires... The Progg sniper remains clam, serenly sniping Sylph. The druid staggers back as the arrow plunges in him, already plotting their next moves... 12. Okay, here is what I propose: The Witch earns Gold equal to the targeted enemy's level and has a 1/3 chance of hexing every enemy.
  13. "Don't count as enemies?! Who do you think is the one firing the arrows, you idiot?" "I'm contributing to the firepower too!" "Well, I'M the one controlling the tail." "Who you you think is controlling the left arm, huh? It isn't easy!" "I want my mommy, controlling the right arm is hard!!" "And I'm the poor sap that has make sure the idiots don't crash this thing... *sigh*"
  14. Which is exactly why we are buffing the shield roll, but you can't go overboard.
  15. The overall goal is to be balanced and fun to play - you can't just start discounting your abilities to get a better one! Also, 3,000th post. Woot woot.
  16. It is the most relatable one, and my calculations are mathematically sound. Only problem is they don't take into account the ever unquantifiable variable of bad luck... But, to further explain my 1/3 reasoning, like you said the Witch is already quite versatile. A 50% chance to turn enemies into both summons and pincushions would maybe be more suitable if they didn't have things like Special Mirror going for them... a 33% chance in my mind seems sound.
  17. Chimera Guards - they typically come in packs of 6 to 8, it seems. Imagine that you are against a horde of them, and you rolled Hex on the first round - if you have 6 of them, the odds are you'll hex 2 and get 4 attacks out of them. Then again, that may just be Zeph.
  18. Excuse me, the enemies being hexed may have buffs. I forgot a few words...
  19. Trojan Progg, hear him rawr.

    1. Dannylonglegs

      Dannylonglegs

I hear more complaining than rawring... Just saying.

  20. Trojan Progg, here him rawr.

  21. Perhaps 1/3 is more suitable then. Since groups of enemies of at least 3 are usually the minimum number of enemies, and groups of more then 6+ enemies are increasingly common, chances are as long as you have about 4-5 enemies you are going to have 2 of them hexed. Hexed I think is a very underestimated status effect: it is a round-long stun that not only lets the heroes beat on them without fear, but they will also automatically attack one enemy. Taking into account that enemies Witches will hex are typically level 16+ or so, and they now may have buffs such as Encouraged or Hastened, hex becomes very potent.
  22. QM Note: Right you are, Capn, Alex should no longer be weakened or fragile! Rejoice! Round 6 of The "Fungeon" Battle! >Punii mixes jellies: 3 is rolled: 20 damage to all enemies! >Alex heals Galen (back): No heal Heal (10+18=28 HP healed) >Johon VS Artillery Progg A (front): Steal Hit (8+21=29x2=58-4=54 damage, 13 damage decay placed) >Johon VS Artillery Progg B (front): Damage Critical Hit (8x3=24+21=45x2=90-4=86 damage, 21 damage decay placed) >Sir Slush VS Progg Trojan (front): 20-3=17 damage >Elgar VS Aerial Progg (back): Hit Critical Hit (11x2=22+20=42x2=84-3=81 damage) >Hal VS Pillar (front): Damage Miss >Hal VS Pillar (front): Special Damage Damage Special Damage: Roll Over (10 damage and Slowed effect, Hal unable to move next turn) >Sylph heals Alex (back): Miss Shield: Roots of Life (9+20=29 HP healed to all, all negative effects removed) >Galen VS Archer A (back): Damage Shield: Mug (10x3=30+16=46x2=92-5=87 damage, 87 gold earned) >Galen VS Archer B (back): Special Damage Shield: Mug (10x3=30+16=46x2=92-5=87 damage, 87 gold earned) >Sylph seals Progg Sniper: Failure! >Romulus VS Progg Sniper (back): Special Damage Special Damage (Crippling Shot: 25/2=13 damage, -2 max hp) >Progg Sniper A: Free hit on Alex! (21/2=11-13=0 damage) >Progg Archer B: No free hit! >Progg Sniper: free hit on Johon! (25-5=20 damage) The party stands against their new batch of foes, the realization of how big this battle was bound to become sinking in as they eye the massive Trojan. Punii is intimidated by the forces, his tail shaking a bit while mixing the jellies; it produces a still scathing but slightly lackluster blast. Alex heals up Galen as Johon goes on a frenzy on the Artillery Proggs, hitting them hard back-to-back. They recoil backwards, dazed from the blow. Sir Slush stands toe to toe with the Progg Trojan, the 6 Proggs contained within the wooden husk working feverishly to pilot the mechanical Progg. The Trojan opens fire, a hailstrom of arrows spewing forth from its face grid... but they all just go through the slush pile. The frigid Sir rams the Trojan, doing a feeble amount of damage. Elgar fires a ball of ice magic at the Aerial progg, the winged beast not fast enough to evade. Hal jumps at the pillar but the Sniper has enough sense to anticipate the attack. He and his two snipers roll the pillar back, then forward as Hal lands, crushing the Captain's foot. He quickly limps backwards, slowed from the ordeal. Sylph manages to muster up the Roots of Life in this mystical manor, the tendrils emerging through cracks in the tiles. They wrap themselves gently around the party, healing them back up to their prime. The root seemingly wave goodbye to the druid as they slip back down into the crevies in between the tiles, their job done. Encouraged by the appearnace of the roots, galen mugs both Archers, deftly launching his Goblin's wrench at them. The rubber band works as advertised, returning the wrench back to Galen. Sylph fails to seal the Sniper, and Romulus suffers the consequences. With a defeaning crack, the Sniper shoots an arrow straight at Romulus, wounding him for the rest of the battle. Two of the bow-based proggs sieze a prime oppurtunity and fire. While the Archer's arrow pings harmlessly off of Alex, the Sniper scores a clean shot on Johon. 23. I think 1/2 is a tad much - I'd still say 1/3 or 1/6.
  24. Rumble, Nerwen WAS Jinxed while using those scrolls, was she not? Is that taken into account? "Of all the possible dirty, rotten, underhanded, 0.0078125% chance of happening tricks... Jinxing your opponent proves you are unable to take them in their normal state!" I note the strange glances from everybody else. "...What? Is basic arithmetic scary for you people?" I crane my head and look at Nerwen, the elf only just shrugging off the bewitchment of the Darkstar. A powerful gem indeed.... "Nerwen. Don't fall for the rock's trickery again." Despite saying this, I can feel the Darkstar tugging at my own mind... I use my Grand Potion on Guts, back.
  25. That would not only completely undo the entire enemy party in terms of damage output, but I assume they'll also massacre themselves AND let the heroes bludgeon them to death without fear of Damage/Special Damage. I'd say that the targetted enemy is Hexed, and all other enemies have a 1/6 chance of being hexed.
