  1. "This body is expendable. How many times will I have to say it before it penetrates your skulls, heroes? I am undying. Immortal. You may shatter this body, reduce it to Ether and scatter its fragments to the winds... But my soul will endure." Perfect Regret raises his Scepter to the blotted out moon and laughs. Although he uttered the sound so many times, it became none less horrid - it was omnipresent, coming from every angle, emitting from hundreds of voices. "To destroy me here would only serve to delay the inevitable. What is the endgame, heroes? The hundreds who have died due to your negligence will remain dead, and I will live on. There is no true victory here, you fools. I will see to mankind's destruction, no matter how many bodies I must use in the process. I am the eternal reaper of mankind, heroes. It is a curse I bear alone, never being able to truly experience peace or happiness. My only solace is being able to, eventually, rid Olegaia of its humanoid plague. Only when my duty is complete shall I be given back the love and happiness that has eluded me for so long..."
  2. I just realized... Medal of Glory + Trial Brew = Hextuple experience.

  4. Same on my end. Am I the only one who uses imgur for my Heroica stuff?
  5. I tend to close the signups rather late into my timezone, just for the sake of allowing last minute signups.
  6. Well, for the Expert Class I'm planning involves a bit of pain to become... and a little bit of spiritual mutilation... and maybe a little bit of torture that shames even the worst agony from the pits of hell itself...
  7. QM Note: Attempting to hold back a shout of primordial rage...
  8. "I believe I said that to you ver batim a while back. That what you think? Or is that what you're trying to hide behind, just like I tried to?"
  9. Question: Are Expert Classes outside the main 7 taught by directly the Copper Fox, or an outside party? I can't see him indulging himself in 50 shades of Bley...
  10. "Truly Althior? Are you just trying to follow in my steps?" I pause and contemplate my next action. What I said was true... nothing can linger in the dark forever. "Perhaps you'd like to hear more about my beloved. I realize Syntax gave his version of the tale once before, but I fear that wasn't how the events transpired..."
  11. Althior's cocky smile didn't elude me. "You know, Althior? I used to think I was on top of the world too." I begin to stand up, then give a sorrowful snicker. "And then my face peeled off in front of my fiance."
  12. Sign-ups for 66 end tomorrow atleast, so Arthur can barge back in then.
  13. "If you truly are dead, Althior..." I chuckle under my breath. "You'll learn that Undead are terrible liars, if that is what you are. Our vital signs are exaggerated - breath harder, heart beats faster, that kind of thing. You'll also learn undead are also great at detecting liars. You'll learn the tricks of the trade eventually... You're hiding something, Althior. And nothing can remain in the dark forever. Perhaps it isn't meant for today, but it'll have to come to light eventually. I hide a few secrets of my own, but I know damn well they're going to come out one day. Who knows, you may even hear them."
  14. "Plan to shed any light on this situation any time soon?"
  15. I look down and recall my former appearance. "Looked every bit human on the outside... I was just dead on the inside, back then. Few incidents later and my body started decaying. My skin is all but gone at this point... and my heart is going to follow suit." I gently place my skeletal, gloved hand over my chest.
  16. "You don't look dead either... Though, that didn't stop me either for a couple of decades. Fair warning when the decay sets in."
  17. I am taken slightly aback by his sudden revelation. I nearly sputter with my next sentence, not expecting... this, of all things. "W-what? You, Althior? Dead? Revived? Skin intact?" I look at the Necromancer, my hood hiding my quizzical face. "...You didn't get eaten by a wildebeest on your way back to the fields, did you?"
  18. Or quick time events. Actually, I can code a little bit, so... Maybe something to think about.
  19. Hey, Super Mario has been doing it since the 80s. Nope, Scorpiox, sorry - just a random saying that my family uses a lot. Whether or not it originally stemmed from that song, though... :shrug_ohwell:
  20. My mood underwent some sort of metaphysical from of whiplash. my brows furrowed and my fist momentarily clenched, my eyes narrowing at the volatile Necromancer. "Don't try to fool me anybody else, or yourself, Althior. I grew up in a compound where pretty much every adult was a necromancer. For Helvetia's sake, I could spot one on the dark side of the moon if need be." "Know better then anyone else? Althior, do you think I resent my father? Necromancers work miracles, should they use the power they wield correctly. They can give someone a second chance, breath life back into those who shouldn't have departed. My father is the only family I have left - if he is even alive at all!"
  21. "So, ever saw a necromancer before, or...?"
  22. Hearing footsteps pass by my chair, I freeze my train of thought momentarily and check behind me. (Rogue sixth sense, got to love it.) To my surprise, it is Althior - bearing the magicks used in necromancy! I stand up and walk over to the sage-turned necromancer. "Welll hello there, master of the dead. Long time no see!" The irony is not lost in my voice, the odd situation and the sight of an old friend brightening my mood a bit.
  23. I am doing a Stealer 2 Quest after 48, though I'm not sure how simple it is. You're not going to be gambling for the lives of many, but there are going to be wacky criminal hijinks on par with 56.
  24. I honestly think they're a bit too cheap, but then again... Rogues are the wealthiest people in Eubric. Wonder how much gold Guffington has?
  25. And it is 5 times the price of it! I wouldn't be surprised if we had weapons far better then the Pitchfork of Domination by the time Master Classes roll around - and with the Medal, they are going to come fast and furious. Congrats to K-nut for becoming the first Expert Class!
