  1. Q4 was 48 pages. We are almost triple.
  2. Fixed. Hey, I did try to put some sort of puzzle, scenario, or conversation between each battle. Besdies, I love to use battles as means of development - the heat of battle really brings out the true shades of somebdoy, and gradually losing to somebody they consider to be inferior brings it out. (Rhodus's insanity, Eidolon's anger, etc.) I still love Aquos's afterbattle, simply because all of the awesome RP.
  3. I suppose 2,000+ HP maniacs aren't common in Heroica, But I'm willing to bet by the time we reach Master Classes bosses are going to be well over 5,000.
  4. Ooh, don't forget Perfect Regret!
  5. Noting Arthur's paranoid behavior, I decide following suit would be appropriate. I press my body against the door to make sure nobody gets out. I then crane my head and inspect the corridor.
  6. 30x3=90+20=110+6=116x2=232 damage on a Mug, so atleast 200 gold per shield roll plus a ton of damage... Dear GOD, what monster have I created?!
  7. He'd do the Goblin's Wrench, due to it's ranged nature - and I know he is planning on permanently imbuing Crumbling Venom (900 gold.) A WP: 29 ranged weapon that doesn't need to be retrived and has some rather deadly poison permanently imbued onto it... Woah.
  8. Factor in any future mugs and the 150 gold quuest reward... he is probably breaking 5,000.
  9. Galen's gold at beginning of 48: 127 gold. Galen's gold during final boss of 48: 4679 gold.
  10. Wow, you guys just dropped a third of Perfect Regret's HP - and the Phantoms aren't going to hang on much longer!
  11. QM Note: Apologies for the delay, folks! Real life came into play, and I'm trying to prepare the ending of the quest. The angulfed angel's light manages to penetrate the darkness that swirls within The Perfect Regret, erupting out in a brilliant display of power. The light blinds the entire enemy party, immobilizing them. With Aquos invigorating them with his song, his siblings can only watch in terrified awe as the heroes go to town on the unconscious Regret. In a barrage of strikes they whittle down their ultimate adversary, the light pouring out of him temporarily knocking out the hateful creature. After receieving plenty of abuse his jaw and teeth suddenly clench shut, closing out the light from within him. It fades way, the massive Progg quickly reorienting himself. 12. Wonderful MOCs, Sandy! Loved Yasmar.
  13. I drink down a Mead, Smelling Salts, and Nostrum as I stand in front of the door with my two companions. Serevan's patrol marches up to us, disgruntled. Centuries have strengthed my resolve against these bitter types, allowing me to deal with them with relative ease. I trun to the envious Town Watchman and address him: "We're merely following Patricia'as orders. if you have any disputes with our position, you may take them up to the captain. We wish you a safe patrol."
  14. Ether manifestations? Battle hallucinations? Lots of possible explanations. I know I've said before that Proggs are atheist, but I believe a more correct term is that they simply do not observe any gods.
  15. For the record, Sorrow isn't too keen on loving anyone right now. For someone to forcibly take it from him would make him furious. Also, whats with all the revenge pointed at me, guys? Not all heroes can/should be ultimate fearless creatures who never feel any pain or have to make difficult choices. Also, I'm trying to wrap up 48, not prolong the damn thing. Perfect regret probably is the perfect final boss fro the series - after all, the Progg's motivation is hatred. Who better to save for last then he is practically hatred incarnate?
  16. Master of Regret will pop in as soon as Perfect Regret is defeated. They will proceed to high five each other, enhancing each other's power beyond all belief. The true final battle will be a dual battle between two Town-Hall sized enemies.
  17. Ultimate Foe

The battle against the hateful colossus rages on! Perfect Regret lunges at Galen, camping his awful teeth onto the Rogue. Galen looks deep into the endless darkness of Perfect regret before being flung across the rooftop, his limp form hitting the rooftop with a resounding crash. Perfect regret chuckles, but his laughter falters as a glimmer of light begins to shine through. This light soon erupts inton a full out beacon, a flood of light suddenly pouring through perfect Regret's every orifice. The better shields their eyes from the blinding burst - was this Alex's angel? Perfect Regret convulses and spasms as the light blasts from his crapace, as if in agony. 19. Three? >Town hall battle >Rally battle >Medbay battle >Ballroom Battle >Aranoc Battle >Dini Manor Battle (C'mon, I had an entire quest's worth of bloody enemies in there. I count this one as 3 in its own. ) Also, The Regret has hints of it... kinda? I did give plenty of foreshadowing, though I hope nobody expected him of all people to be the true mastermind behind, well, everything.
