Single Pane Action Theme Funnies

I hope in a good way? Well, I don't know about you, but I still have to wait a few hours until it airs over here on the West Coast. -
Well, not exactly. As I've pointed out before in this thread, Mikey's and Donnie's weapons convert from regular to bladed versions in the show, so that's what TLG was going for. But like Legocrazy81, I don't get why they used those tubes for Mikey's nunchucks in the Kraang set. They are far too large, and they could have easily used the same design as in the Shellraiser, just without the fang. That way you could have had two nunchucks for Mikey if you got all the sets, but as it is, you have to get two of the same set to get two of the same kind of nunchucks.

Why? What's stopping them from making one based on the comics or other cartoons, just like they have done with every other fig in this theme (except for Gordon)?

Nice ones guys. I also have a Chima-related meme-based funny in anticipation of the premiere tonight: LOL CHIMA by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Yeah, I couldn't resist. -
Yeah, nice pictures everybody. I also recently got the Arkham Asylum Breakout and the Mr. Freeze set, so here are some pictures with those figs: Batman Arkham City by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr "A Robin tried to test me once... I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti... HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Hannibal Joker by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I couldn't help but think of Silence of the Lambs when I saw Joker on that stretcher.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Check the Licensed Themes Photography thread. And I agree about the 2012 sets. Yeah, it's annoying how gray always looks like silver on those CGI box arts these days. Uhm, why? I don't think that would look very good. It makes a lot more sense to put it on Mr. Freeze like I did here: Mr. Hawkeye and Zombie Bunny by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr

Yeah, there's only so much you can do as a purist. No one is forcing you to stay purist, so do as you please. Very true. Ah yes, forgot about him and Viktor Krum, but they're kinda hard to come by. Their legs would do nicely for Namor (they are swimsuits after all ).

Mine is known throughout the universe as Oky the Space Ranger, or just Oky. His real last name is a mystery. It could be Lightyear or something else, but most people just call him Oky.

I hope they're not being sneaky about it. Technically, LB2 had over 100 characters too, but a lot of them were either exclusive to a specific gaming platform or were DLC, and a lot of them were just different versions of Batman and Robin or random useless Gothamites. Let's hope you actually get 100 characters in the console versions and that most of them are major heroes and villains.

Hehe, I guess it was only a matter of time until somebody made a Fury-Mace funny. Nice Henchmen funnies, too, Cpt. Nemo! Cutting parts, removing paint, and using non-Lego parts such as rubber bands are definitely no-nos in purist customizing. If you want a tethered white cape, you could just use that of Arctic Batman. Bricklink has a list of all Lego rubber bands here.

Well, there's also Bacta Tank Luke, but Patrick's shorts are probably much closer to Namor's speedos than Luke's diaper.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion
Oky replied to LEGOman273's topic in Culture & Multimedia
A bit late, but we rebel bloggers have posted our review of Missing in Action. Welcome to EB! You can find all of our Clone Wars reviews right here. Oh, and Gascon is NOTHING like Buzz Lightyear! I see what you mean though. -
Nice one, Lobot. Keep 'em coming! I guess I beat you to it. Although it is a pretty obvious one. After acquiring Lucasfilm, the Disney Company decided to remake some of their classic movies with beloved Star Wars characters. These are some examples: Pirates of the Clone Wars by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Princess Leia said she'd rather kiss a wookiee. She should have been careful what she wished for... The Princess and the Wookiee by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Saesee Tiin stars as the title character in Disney's Tinkerbell. Indeed, this is great news. I like everything I'm seeing so far. I'm hoping for lots of cool playable characters, unlike the lackluster lineup in LB2. Anybody think we might see a Lego Stan Lee in the game? I think that would be neat, especially if he's playable.

Thanks. Some people on Flickr said that as well, but I disagree. To me his tank top is clearly orange. Perhaps a darker shade of orange than Aquaman's, but orange nonetheless. Plus he needs to have that Atlantean belt buckle, so this torso is pretty much perfect for him in my opinion. The only thing he might be missing is those straps around his shoulders, but oh well. Besides, isn't that torso you suggested dark red? Someone suggested using Deadpool's torso, but I don't think that would suit Aqualad at all since it's too... deadpoolish.

Same here. It's Blackbeard's. Thanks. It's from the CMF Surfer.

Since my sigfig is already space-themed, I decided to make a steampunk version of him. And so, I present to you Oky the Steam Ranger, pride of Steam Command! Note the steam-powered jetpack! Steampunk Sigfig by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr

Yay! I'm one of the X-Men! Nice work everybody! Especially you, ReZourceman! You certainly are rezourceful when it comes to purist Marvel figs! Keep 'em coming! I have some purist figs of my own. Here's my Young Justice team: Young Justice by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr

Where does it say that it will come out in summer? I find that unlikely since I don't think they would announce the Marvel game which comes out in fall and not announce this if it comes out in summer. Would be nice if it's true though. But yeah, whenever this comes out, it will probably be a continuation of the CW.

Another one: The Temple of Doom and the Lone Ranger Silver Mine can be used as part of Gringotts.

Congrats on being the first to post your entry! Well, part of it anyway. Looks good so far. As for the name, how about "Room full of creepy-eyed Jedi"? Nah, just kidding. I think Hall of Heroes has a nice ring to it. If that's too cheesy for you, how about Memorial Chamber? -
Not bad, Nom Carver, but I think it would have been better if the Stormies were actually touching each other. As it is it looks more like they are marching in a goofy way.
