I was at the lego retail store in Downtown Disney today and there were no new indy sets , BUT the shelf with the indy sets is now twice as long, and there was a guy from the store's staff who was assembling the Temple set for display purposes! So, that means they are awaiting them! I'll be sure to check in next week!

Hey, shouldn't the MTT go on sale soon? I mean, Yoda's review of the set was done almost a year ago, and isn't that when sets go on sale, 1 year later? However, I am dealing with kinda the same issue as James, and I like your suggestion, Jim, but right now I don't have much money, so I'll get some clones now maybe, and as soon as the MTT goes on sale, I'll grab that one too. There is only one thing that bothers me (a lot): The MTT doesn't have any Super Battle Droids! I got one of them in the Hailfire droid set, and they are so cool! Also, if you want to make a decent CW scene, you need them, cause they were used a lot - just look at the cartoon show or the trailers of the upcoming movie... There were HORDES of them! But I refuse spending 10 bucks on a BP that only has 3 of them and none of the new weapons (leave alone droids that are able to hold them! )! Sigh! Oh well, nothing to do but to stick to my plan mentioned earlier and hope that there will be some other opportunity to get some of those someday. Perhaps in the franchise for the upcoming animated series? You know, I am really hoping for a BP duo for next year with one including Phase 1 clones (like in the upcoming sets) and the other one including BDs (like those from the MTT + weapons of course) and some Supers again! That would be awesome, but that's a different story... So, I would advise you to do the same, James! Now, does anyone know when the MTT will go on sale?

ME LIKE! Yes, I was thinking of making some midieval (or "castlized") SW MOCs myself! I say we should all do that and create a new theme: CASTLE WARS! It's like steam wars, but during the castle era!

Did you know that there is going to be another sequel to "The Mummy"? Well, it is, and it looks like it's gonna be in the style of the LEGO Adventure line "Orient Expedition! It's called "Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" and is scheduled to be released on the first of August! Also, it appears that Jet Li will be playing the bad guy this time! Check out all the details and some pics @IMDB! It's very interesting how the creators of these movies seem to follow the storyline of the Legos, isn't it? I mean, first Egypt, then Jungle, and then the East! Anyway, being a big fan of Jet Li and this great series of adventure movies, I am pretty excited, even though the "The Mummy Returns" wasn't that good (but it had a sweet airship! ). What do you think about this?

Thanks Guys! it's working now! Well, I've been thinking about this and I think it will be tough to play as seperatists since the army consists only of droids. But there are some planets of course that help the seperatists, like the Geonosians or the Bankers Clan, and also some occasionally hired bounty hunters. Now that sounds plausible! In fact, ALL the good guys in this game will probably be something like that since the "the Clone Army" as you call it was comprised of only... well... clones! Except for JimButcher - He will be just "Batjedi", the Dark Jedi Knight! LOL, just kiddin'!

OK, so I've been researching a bit now, and I think it might be good to set this game at a certain point during the Clone Wars. The war went from 22 BBY to 19 BBY, and I would suggest that we set our game around 20 BBY as this was in the middle of the war and because this was the time where the clones started switching from Phase 1 to Phase 2 armor, which means that both types of clones can be used in the game and that players who only own one type of clone trooper are not left out! (Most of us, I bet, only have Phase 2 guys, though, thanks to the BPs! ) So, what do you say? PS: I would like to link the image below to this topic, but I don't know how to assign a link to an image. Can somebody please tell me how? Btw, what do you think of that ad?

I would say, too, that the republic's bases are usually mobile (star destroyers), but it will definitely be interesting seeing you design a solid one! As for ideas, I agree with SWMAN and the things he listed! Also, a bathroom would be a nice (and funny) thing to add! Perhaps right next to the cantina! Btw, for the cantina, you can take reference from Dextrer's Diner and that place Anakin and Padme eat in in Episode 2 (with the multi-arm droid food server who sends R2 away) and the Mos Eisley Cantina of course! Marching through the streets, they destroy anything in their path! :sing: Comic Mad Scientist: "Yes! It's working! My momy always wanted me to wear ties, but I HATED them! Now I can make everybody else wear ties! MUAHAHAHAHA!" OH NO! Looks like the Bad Kid (from Oky Wan's chamber contest entry ) was too slow! Bad Kid: "Help me, guys! I don't wanna wear ties! they make me look boring!" Oky Wan (with his cool sunglasses on ): "Don't worry, Bad Kid! I'll save you - by whacking those stupid robo-ties!" *WHACK!* Mad Scientist: "NO! Whacking - my robo-ties' only weakness - how did you know?!" Oky Wan: "Come on, everybody, let's tip the tie control tower! 1...2...3... HO!" Mad Scientist: "Hey! what are you doing, you fools?! Yeah, as I said, Clone Wars would indeed be a much better setting! I believe, it would attract more players as well! That would mean that I'd have to do my research all over again. Oh well. I like that kinda stuff! So, what do you say, Jim?

My character: Meet Oky Wan Kenobi (again)! He lives on Coruscant and is an independent droid and starship designer. When he was young he was working for Baktoid Combat Automata to help them design the B1 battle droid that the Trade Federation requested. At that time, he had no idea that it would cause thousands of deaths throughout the galaxy. Now he feels guilty because he thinks that he was partly responsible for the Clone Wars and would do anything to support the Republic! Oky Wan is a little force sensitive which makes him a great pilot, even though he doesn't have nearly as many midi-chlorians as his cousin Obi Wan. He is quite jealous of his cousin since Obi Wan has become everything he always wanted to be: A jedi (a very respected one) who travels the galaxy leading troops into the battle against the seperatists. His favorite color is green and his favorite sport is podracing, even though this sport is slowly dying these days. Ever since he heard about the young boy called Anakin Skywalker who was the first human to win the Boonta Eve Classic, his secret dream has been to become the next human podracing champion with a homemade pod. Also, after he heard that Skywalker has become a jedi and is now fighting alongside his cousin, Skywalker is now Oky Wan's idol. Although he is pretty proud to be related to someone who knows Skywalker that well, Oky Wan's jealousy of his cousin is now stronger than ever... Usually, Oky Wan is very friendly, though, and he always carries a tool kit with him. His excellent technical and mechanical skill enable him to make a completely functional starfighter out of the smallest pile of junk. Also, Oky Wan has a big appetite! There you have it! My sigfig as a character complete with strengths and weaknesses who is directly connected to the SW universe of the CW era in many ways! I hope you like it!

I was going for a magical look as the only thing we know about the elflands is that it is a "deep woodland of mystery and magic", and I am quite happy with it, even though it ended up looking very belvillish. Oh well, it's my first castle/fantasy MOC after all (except for my Hogwarts MOC! ). Good job, everyone, there are some beautiful entries out there! I will probably not be able to compete with most of ya! Please tell me what you think and if my piece count is off!

Hi everybody! I am about to post my entry and am counting the pieces right now. I need some help with that, though! How many pieces is a skellie? Is a treasure cove 1 or 2 pieces? And does a cape count as a piece?

Mine doesn't look very Starwarsish (it's not my avatar, it's the one I used for the EB Neighbourhood Contest). If yes, can we at least "dress" them in SW "cloths"? Also, I was wondering if there is any cheap way of interplanetary travel in the SW universe. I mean if you are an average guy on coruscant and don't have the money to hire a smuggler to fly you and don't have your own ship either like all the main characters in the PT seem to have , what do you do? And, just out of curiosity, would it be alowed to post a stop-motion film instead of pics once in a while?
