  1. Do you mean The Imperial and Republic Army Album or something else?
  2. I highly doubt the green JSF, although it would be freakin awesome to have one! But Anakin's airspeeder could be possible, though. Maybe this set is even some sort of Cloud City style set with a landing platform for that airspeeder, some corridors, and the Chancellor's office! Would make sense too - the other two choices seem like pretty big sets as well after all! I can already imagine some hidden mechanisms that (like in the Harry Potter Wizard Duel set) catapult the chancellor toward the Jedi, or throw Mace out of the window! And coming to think of it, if the set includes Anakin, and since the description of choice 1 talks about Palpatine's transformation, then maybe it also has a Palpatine fig with a double sided head - one with his normal Chancellor face, and one with his disfigured Emperor face! That would be great!
  3. I missed it. Was this in part four? Also, wasn't the director in the Lego Studios line supposed to be Spielberg? Part three is now available on the Cartoon Network website and part four should be there soon as well.
  4. WOW! Thank you so much!
  5. Hm... Seeing as all the creator minis this year are mini replicas of actual sets, do you suppose the Bi-Plane will be a big set, too, or is it just something to make it an even number of minis?
  6. But how do you make sure that it is exactly the right size? (1.2 cm x 1.5 cm, right?)
  7. I don't see how there could be any doubt that this set is not like the ISD or Republic Cruiser as it clearly states in the description of the choice what is included in the set: But since this is a thread about opinions rather than facts, here is what I think: It should be this way. Why? A couple of reasons: Price - A whole cruiser would surely cost more than just a room, the usual small hangar stuff, and a starfighter that is only worth about $15 itself. Also, I hate the fact that all the good figs are usually in the most expensive sets! It wouldn't cost as much to get an Ackbar this way. Accuracy - Let's face it: Except for the control room and the hangar we don't know anything about the interior of this cruiser! So, I would rather have TLC concentrate on a detailed and proportionally correct version of these two parts of the ship than a nice looking exterior of the whole thing with tiny versions of them crammed in it and some made-up other parts of the interior (like in the Republic Cruiser ). Parts - What kind of parts would the whole cruiser have? Grey plates patched on a Technic construction and some grey greebs. What kind of parts would a control room and an A-Wing have? All the cool, differently colored parts you can expect to find in such a place/vehicle! I think that we can use monitors, furniture, windows, hinges, etc. much better for our MOCs than grey plates and Technic parts! Swooshability - I don't know if this is an official term, but I know this: A complete model of the Mon Calamari Cruiser would be much harder to swoosh than an A-Wing, possibly harder than the Republic Cruiser even! Opportunity - Getting a new minifig-sized A-Wing would mean quite an opportunity for us! Those who missed out on the last one would have the chance to catch up, and those who already have one or more of them and would be getting this set just for the Ackbar fig could expand their armada! A-Wing armies ON! There you have it! Of course, a complete cruiser would have its benefits, too, but this would make more sense to me! Btw, if we don't get the whole cruiser (or no Calamari set at all), then the chances are even higher that we will get something even better soon: A UCS Mon Calamari Cruiser! Hm... I think I prefer cheese over sweat! But honestly, I don't even care about any of this as Choice 1 is absolutely the way to go for me!
  8. WOW! IT ACTUALLY STARTED! And WOW again - thanks for all those who voted for me as the most hillarious! But special thanks go to those who voted for my entry to be the most horrifying - You have made a very wise choive! Well, time to vote! I personnaly think that my entry was pretty funny as well, so I voted for it! Hinckley's entry also seemed to be a good choice for this category, but... it's... just... too... horrifying... (not as a MOC of course ) So that got my vote for the second category, and as for the last one, well, was the one who was thinking outside the box the most for me. Way to go, Big Y! So, there are no prizes then? Except for the fact that this thing is finally over and that we can move on to other great contests, I mean? That's cool, it's enough for me to know that I'm actually funny!
  9. This is great! creative and funny! Hm... looks like Indy has even conquered the fashion industry now! Yes! Background story On! Also, I can't wait to get to know their archnemesis!
  10. Really? I thought rule 2 says "there aren't any main characters, so dont ask". I'm confused! As for the unlimited timeline, I think it makes no sense. We can say that we are at anytime during the CW (between Ep II & III), but I can't imagine this to be all over the place! Besides, changing the timeline means changing the whole game which would delay its start even further! So, please, let's just stay in the CW, OK?
  11. I take all minifigs apart that are not an essential part of a set that I have still built and on display! :skull: I divide them into heads, torsos, legs, and accesories. The torsos and legs go in that big, yellow carton sorting box with different minifigs printed on the sides that was available on S@H last year, while the heads and accessories go into cheap, small, see-through plastic sorting cases. The torsos and legs are sorted by color; the heads by theme and/or kind (classic smiley, city, castle, pirates, aqua, ninjas, license, non-yellow, aliens/creatures); the wigs by kind & gender; and the weapons, tools, and other props by size and theme/era. So, you see I am a very organized person! This might be minifig cruelty, but in the end I now exactly where to get which part of a minifig!
  12. Choice 1 all the way!!! I mean, come on, the other choices would be just rehashes (except for getting an Ackbar fig with the Awing, but who likes Mr. "It's-A-Trap" anyway! ), and what could be better than a set with a new PT Palpy fig, a (new?) Mace fig, and some other Jedi all in one effordable set?! I reallyreallyreally hope this dream will come true!
  13. Yeah, unfortunately, this impulse set will probably come out in August with the other castle sets as stated on Toy Fair. This is so unfair, and I don't even understand why TLC is doing it this way! I really could have used those for Castle Month... TLC holding out on sets for a continent for over half a year OFF!!
  14. So, how did you fix it? Did you get a mouse droid to fix it? Sorry, couldn't resist. Btw, Jim, I would get that Mygeto diorama of yours done soon if I were you. It would make a great setting for the game!
  15. I like the set, too, actually. I am totally satisfied with the hailfire - I mean how much detail is there to put on a small vehicle like this? Also, the only things that I think are missing are a few greebs on the sides and the little blaster below the cockpit/head... and those are easy little mods which should be fun and inexpensive to do. Being a huge fan of animation, I for one like to think of the clone wars and anything associated with it (vehicles, locations, etc.) as what we see in the cartoons, and since there are not many details to see there, I am even more satisfied with this hailfire droid.
  16. The post above reminded me of something else: There was a German parody/tibute of the MTV show "Pimp My Ride" called "Pimp my Fahrrad" (Pimp My Bike), and in one of the first episodes, they Pimped out the bicycle of a German AFOL! In the end, the whole chasis was covered in bricks! It was awesome!
  17. Well, as long as it doesn't end up taking months until the game starts... But seriously, although I am very, very excited about hthis game, I am totally fine with that since I'm having my eye surgery today and still have to catch up on some homework right now! So, I am actually thankful for this delay! That sounds like a very intereting character, but I think you are in the wrong era. This game is taking place DURING the CW, not after. You can still have found the plans for the Rogue Shadow as it could have been designed during the CW, but I think you need to think about your occupation since clones are anything but obsolete at this point. I don't have a "smirk head" and I don't think many of us do, but I would be cool with the generic bad guy head! It's nice to know that the role of the comic relief in our story is covered! On a side note, I am not sure how a rebel trooper will fit into the CW era, but as long as you don't use the rebel helmet, you should be fine! I believe you are reffering to a hologram projection pod!
  18. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Wayne Aerospace's latest product: the Cave Racer! It's a high speed hovercraft with no cockpit. Of course, right after it's developement, the company's owner made a special edition of it for himself, turning it into... The Batcave Racer! (aka. the Bat-Caveracer) This new addition to the Dark Knight's vehicles hovers thanks to a new technology that is hidden in it's wings. Acceleration is done by the tuned version of a turbine engine similar to that of the Batmobile's. Hang in there, Batman! With this bad boy, the Bat hopes to catch even the fastest evil-doer on any terrain! "Eat my dust, Joker!" Here it is in Parking Mode... and apparently still running engine. Hey, watch out there, Batsy, you seem to be a little dizzy from the ride! I hope you like it! This is my first cave racer, and I have no clue when, where, or how the idea of the "cave racer" popped up (would be really nice if someone could fill me in there! ), but I like it! And with all those new cave racer MOCs turning up lately, I just had to make one too! So, being in the Batvehicle mocing mood I am in at the moment, I came up with this beauty! IMO, the best thing about it is its name! I know, it doesn't look much like a bat; the overall design was inspired by the batwing, but even though it didn't turn out to look as bat-like as its inspiration, I do like this MOC a lot! What do you think?
  19. Wow! Thanks Guys! I'm honored! Yeah, I know, I did some research on the term "Batplane" when I was looking for a name for my little creation, and it seems that the Batplane was kind of a prototype of the Batwing. And, you're right, it did look kinda like my Batflyer : This was also called the "Batgyro", but if you take away the helicopter part, you get pretty much what I made! Accidental Accuracy On!
  20. YES!!! How could I forget that! That was one of the greatest moments in the history of family guy when Peter explains to Lois explicitly that LEGO is not the same thing as Megablocks!
  21. I decided today that I can't wait for the MTT to go on sale to get some droids and that I REALLY need some SBDs, so I got myself a droids BP. I'm quite happy with it, it's better than I thought (although I still miss the new weapons & droid arms in it ). And to make up for this gain of droids, I also got my third clones BP (I already had droids from the hailfire set and old Ep I sets, so my clones & droids are balanced now). I just love those speeder bikes somehow, don't you? However, of course I had to get a Jungle Duel as well! I haven't build it yet and probably wont - I just bought it for the figs, the weapons, and the food. Mutt's hair is great, and I am planning something special with it...
  22. Hi, guys! This is just a little something I threw together because I am in a Batvehicle MOCing mood right now. It's kind of an emergency escape vehicle for the Dark Knight. I was inspired to make this by noticing how much that Batweapon thingy (what exactly is it?) at the front looks like a spinning propeller. The challenge in building this was it to build as many bat-like parts as possible into the smallest space. It's nothing from the comics or anything, just a fun little flying Batvehicle. Enjoy! After use, the Batplane can be folded together for compact storage! Well, I hope you like it! Stay tuned for another ingenius, mind-blowing Batvehicle of my creation! Random MOCing moods ON!
  23. Idk if any of you have house maids / cleaners clean up your place, but I do. If you don't, you are lucky, 'cause they can really mess up your MOCs & sets on display! Want proof? This is exactly how designer set 4404 looked like after my cleaners left last time: Pretty bad, huh? Look at the poor driver they left below the truck to support it! Luckily, this is an old set and nothing new or anything I made, but still... Do you have any similar stories to tell? Careless Cleaners OFF!
  24. I already did! Did you read my post at all? Anyway, here you go (again). (Bat)Brickfilms On!
  25. OH! Very nice! thanks for all those instructions, guys! I do hope that these aren't the Brickmaster exclusives as they look good & fun and seem to be great parts packs! Also, isn't it odd that there will be only three minis? It used to be 4! Anyway, V19, Snowspeeder, and TIE (mini) Armies ON!
