Yeah, I'm pretty sure they move. What I'm not so sure about is how the visors will fit on the Phase 2 helmets. First of all, the Phase 2 helmets don't have any holes for the visors to get a grip on, and also, they might be too thick for the visors.

It sure is! I won't get this set unless I can get it on a sale for 20$. Maybe not even then, because the pilot would be one of the only reasons, and I'm pretty sure we'll get him in a BP or something soon.

LOL, yeah! I could imagine using the big, round parts to make a lid for a giant flying trash can for Lord Trash to fly around in!

I just found out what V-Pods are (vignettes that use an X-Pod case as a base), and I love the idea! Therefore, I think it would be great if we would have some kind of V-Pod contest involving sigfigs! If you still don't know what V-Pods are like, click here to see some good examples I found on brickshelf. Oh, and I would like to bring the idea of a videogame related contest back up by suggesting a "Clash of the Games" contest, in which participants have to create a MOC where two or more different video games come together. This could result in some pretty hillarious combinations and would allow the contestants to create figs and/or MOCs of different videogames! I got the idea from the Robot Chicken sketch where Mario & Luigi get lost in the world of GTA.

Who's whining? Besides, that's Sir Whinealot to you! Just kidding, just kidding! I care about all the visitors of this site who might be interested in the reviewed sets, but don't go through all the forums all the time and are missing out on these reviews.

Yeah, I couldn't tell what it was when I saw it for the first time either. But that didn't stop me from looking at it because, at first, I thought it was a Fabulized Endor scene! But than I saw the carriage and the medieval looking figs. Something like an Endor scene would be great, though.

You lucky son of a megablock! It's strange that you found the DGS - I thought it would be released sometime after August. Anyway, thanks for the cool reviews. It would have been good, though, if you could have taken some pics of the Torrent from more different angles. You don't have even one pic of it from the back for example. However, I'd say this is frontpage material!

I already posted that one a couple of pages ago, but no one seemed to really care.

Thanks, Jim, but what I need to know is the distance between the outter ends of the two middle feet. It it's probably something between 30 and 40 studs. Can anyone make a more exact estimate?

I'm not quite sure what you mean; if you mean introducing Obi-Wan into our story, that could end up drastically changing our story line which may cause a few other problems, so I would probably say no. But before I can properly answer; can you explain a bit more on what you're asking, thanks in advance . I don't really understand what you're saying either, Skipper. Right now, I think it would be a bad time for you to come into our story since we are already out of the "cell thingy" and are about to fight for our lives in the pit fighting arena. once we are out of there, though, you are welcome to join our group. PS: Is my character the link to your mission with Obi-Wan? I am his cousin after all. Hehe, just a guess. You don't need to answer.

Wow that is interesting... and odd! Wasn't this set supposed to be released in October or so? Anyway, it looks pretty decent in real life, but I would still not pay more than 20$ for it.
-
Er, yes. It has two studless TECHNIC bars with pointy ends at the rear which fold down. You can see it in the instructions.

That's an interesting character, Skipper, but I have some criticism about it. First of all, how do you expect us to recreate your character when it is a custom? the best thing I could do is to use the yellow trooper from the clone BP, or use the new Cody when I can get the RGS. And although I've got it, most people don't have the Jango head. So, could I kindly ask you to remake your character in a way that we all can recreate it? Thanks. Also, I don't understand why he is tasked with eliminating Obi-Wan and how this will fit into the main story of this game, but I hope that you will reveal that to us soon. On a brighter note, I think it's really cool to see the first animated entry in this game! I might make a stop-motion post one day myself! And about the background of your Comic game ad, I would suggest using a Utapau scene since that is the setting for the most part of the current Chapter. Therefore, I would use either this or this pic for the background. And I would also recommend not writing Star wars twice - just use the SW logo and write "Comic Game" under it. I hope that helped. Welcome to the game! Stop-motion entries ON!

Naaah! I'm sure it will be head-torso-helmet-legs, just like putting figs together from a newly purchased set. That would be way too hard for little kids to get the arms into the torso and such anyway. So, start practicing!

Your wish is my command : From left to right: Simonjedi aka. Garviel Loken; Skipper 24; BrickBreaker aka. Xela Mirinatan; MacK; Oky Wan Kenobi; Jim Butcher; Lt. Col. Thok; The Death Star aka. William Jones; Vader's son aka. Moda Annix; Palin Jax; wouwie13 aka. Easy 501. I hope you like the new ad. You can use it in your own sig. Here is the URL: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3225/266289...02cf99af7_o.jpg And here are some fun-facts about the pic: The tag line "The time has come" is the the subtitle of this thread. Skipper 24 is shown as a generic clone trooper because he hasn't posted his character yet and said something about him being a former clone soldier who kept his armor. Everyone is featured holding their signature weapon (I have a tool instead of a weapon because I had to give my pistol to simonjedi), and MacK is shown holding a grenade! Comic Game On!

Well, I'm gonna get the AT-TE on July 26th, that's for sure! But I also want to buy a second CW set on that day, but I can't quite decide which one. Either I spend all my money and get the RGS (which my parents wouldn't like ) and don't get any more lego for a while, or I get the HSD and wait until I have some more money again to get the RGS or until it goes on sale. I will probably go for the HSD, it's kind of a more clever strategy.

Really? That sounds huge! Not even the grey XL baseplates have fifty square studs! That is just the length of it, right? If so, how wide is it, do you suppose? Aw, thank you! Well, yeah, I will try to make this one of my best MOCs to date! I haven't done a lot of landscaping yet, so I don't know how it will turn out. And I am not sure about what I will do yet either; I am still trying to get a good idea. The best one I had so far was creating a Battle of Dagobah scene (non-cannon), inspired by Battlefront 2. It would involve Anakin and Asokah having to rescue Obi Wan and Cody whose RGS has been downed by the CIS and is now half sunken in a swamp. So, this scenario would include the new AT-TE, the clone scout walker, some speeder bikes, half an RGS MOC (maybe made from the new set), a hailfire droid, a dwarf spider droid, a recolored snail tank, a crab droid MOC, some STAPs, and maybe the new HSD or a MOC of one - it depends on which CW set I will choose to get this month: The RGS or the HSD. The swamp and jungle like environment for this shouldn't be hard to do since I have a lot of green, black, and brown bricks at the moment. If I can't come up with anything even better, I will go with this idea. Any comments or ideas?

That was pretty random and off-topic, but thanks for making this clear, Jim! Yeah. Well, whoever is going to make a review of the RGS and/or the AT-TE, I hope they have the old versions to compare to the new ones.
-
Thanks, but those aren't new to us (or me anyway). And it was revealed a long time ago that the twi'lek is on the left side of the ship as seen in that pic in the gallery, and the monkey lizard on the right side.
-
Wow that's a bunch of neat pics! Thanks! Hm... looking at the pic below, it almost looks like you could articulate Rotta's arms.

What?! After all the trouble you went through to make your entries fit the rules and all? So, you mean that if you would enter and win something, your parents would not allow you to give away your address to have your prize mailed to you? That sucks, dude, but at least we got to see what you would have entered. Those were some interesting entries! Parents!

Ah, thanks trooper, that was the answer I was looking for! You are right, I checked CC007's posts and that's pretty much what he said except for the one-stud part - that is only for vignettes. You need to have everything standing on the baseplate(s) (all vehicles & everything), but you can still have as much hanging over as you want (plants, minifigs, & stuff). Here is the proof for it: Got it? So, that means that I will have to have all the feet of my AT-TE on a baseplate, but it won't matter if any of its guns & stuff are looking over the edge of the baseplate. Therefore, here is my next question: Can anyone tell howw many studs long and wide the new AT-TE stands?

Well, here is my theory: Cities = Civilians Civilians + War = Death Lego = Childrens' Toy Childrens' Toy + Death = Bad Morals Now, I know that there are a lot of deaths in SW anyway, but those are just clones and droids which are expendable. Besides, TLG seems to be unclear about their no-violence policy at the moment themselves.

Thanks, Tarfful, but that's not new to me. This trailer sure makes the game look even more promissing! It really does look like a movie; and with the great cinematography and all, it makes you think if the animated movie that's coming in August shouldn't rather look more like this. And yes, September sure can't come fast enough even though I will probably not get it at that time since I'll be totally broke from buying CW sets.

I have. It was pretty good. It has some funny moments, but other than that, it was quite predictable and kind of unoriginal. But the quality CG animation, the great humor, and the fact that it's a kids movie as you say, make up for it.
