I am really excited for the ARC-170! It looks so much better than the first one (which I didn't get) and the new pilots are great, especially since they seem to be different from each other. I would have prefered a new jedi or at least a third pilot as I bought the JSF w/ booster ring mostly for the figs, but as some have said before, Fisto's torso is useful for custom jedi, so it's not all bad. And it will be neat to have a dark green R2 unit as well. The Tri-Fighter is looking better every time I look at it too. Can't wait to get it along with the ARC. ForceMaster sent me a close-up of it and seems to have dark-blue 2x4 tiles where the stickers are. (PM him if you want to see it. ) As for the Garindan spy... Well, in that enhanced picture it does look an awful lot like there is one. Would be great if there was, even though there wasn't any spy mentioned in any of the first rumors and the set is packed with minifigs already. I guess we'll have to wait and see. For those who argue that the box art designers wouldn't hide such an important part of a set in the background: He's a spy! Of course he will blend into the background! Duh! Seriously though, that picture is very blurry and low-contrast. If that really is a Garindan spy, I'm sure he will stand out much more in the final box art.

Fair enough. Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you, even though I used the M-word. I was trying to be sarcastic in order to show how much you were exaggerating by saying "Lego products are crap". If you would have said that you only meant the designs, we would have never had this misunderstanding. And trust me, I'm 21. Back on topic: Fifty sounds about right. I don't think it will be more than that.

Wow. Some AFOL you are. Why don't you just buy megabloks if Lego is so bad? @Batbrick: He's basically saying that most Lego sets are crap, hence my above comment. On topic: I agree. It looks very unique, unlike anything we have seen so far. If I had all the money in the world, it would definitely be on my to-buy list.

Damn. It does exclude SW, even online. Oh well. Still a nice deal, even with TRU's inflated prices. I'll have to see if there are enough non-SW sets of the same price range which I want... Thanks for informing us, but you should've posted it here.

Ah, finally we see the rest of the line! It looks alright to me. Some of the characters don't really look a lot like their cartoon counterparts, but I guess they will still make for nice toys. Kids who like Ben 10 and Bionicle will like these, but I can imagine that this theme wont last unless they decide to release some system sets in the next wave. I was thinking about buying maybe one of these, but I must admit that I too have lost interest. I will focus on all the other great things that are coming out.

Yeah, there are some pretty epic fails in the catalog (and even on S@H) usually. I don't know why they used Plo Koon as Ackbar and Luke as Madine. Maybe they didn't have the official figs at hand when they took the pics for some reason and just used ones that would look similar on a small pic. Who knows. I agree. There may be a lot of mistakes in the SW section, but there are mistakes all over the catalog usually. So, could you please move this KimT? It has the Tantive IV on the cover, and sadly the CC aint in it.

I don't get it. Who is the chick with the lightsaber? Nice idea though. I'd buy one. But I agree that the orange doesn't fit in with the MOC.

Yeah, I already noticed those. Pretty cool IMO. They are also at the back of the shark in black! How so? All of them have divers, submarines, sea creatures, and those colorful artifacts. The submarines have a red and trans-lime color scheme whereas the Atlanteans have gold and dark-colored color scheme. All the sets have that in common, so I don't see your problem.

Oh, you mean the giant shark and Squid? Yeah, that's why I thought they are vehicles. The sharkman in front of the turbojet belongs in that set. He is on the prelim box art. I don't know where the one in the ruins set belongs to though. Maybe he comes with the giant shark set?

Yes, I meant the squid. I think it can seat a fig, but I could be wrong. Now that you mention it, it's strange that they had the little scooter, but not the big sub itself. I think the ruins set will be $40 at least. Who said the animals are cyborgs? I don't see any technology on them. And I don't think there is a sharkman in that set. That's probably just a mistake by the people who set this display up. There was no sharkman on the prelim box art at least.

Hm... Yes, it does sort of look like a fig, but I doubt it is one. I mean, what would a minifig do in a Bionicle-esque set? Then again, there are minifigs in the giant Buzz Lightyear and Zurg sets too. Btw, can anyone tell what the orange circle below that "minifig" and on the lower left of the pic is?

Are you still working on this? Would be nice to see an update. Anyway, I had an idea. Maybe you should integrate some things that go along with the new lava theme. For example a large water tank where they keep the water for the water guns. Or a room where they keep their heat-proof armor etc. Also, I agree with doctordark: The whole thing needs more green and orange/blue to better fit into the color scheme of the theme.

I think it's rather Race Against Time due to these reasons: The story behind this set seems more like a race rather than a battle; a race to get through the traps and to the end with the trans-yellow bricks. It is likely that the trans-yellow bricks are the Sands of Time as Inconspicuous suggested, even though I would have expected them to be in a sort of hourglass. Battle of Alamut seems to be the largest set of the line, and this doesn't look like it could be the largest set. I don't think they're gold. Looks more like light brown or dark orange to me.

I would really like to get this, but there so much other great stuff on my to-buy list that I wont be able to afford it all.

A better pic of the jail: I pretty much agree. While it seems to have a nice design, it just looks too colorful. Too much blue maybe. I like the turret and vehicle it comes with, though. The turret reminds me of something from HALO or GI Joe. Can't wait to get my hands on those sweet silver helmets! Btw, the Fire Blaster has been spotted on Target.com: Link

I really like the look of that ruins set. The squid fig is awesome, as are all the dark tan and pearl gold pieces. If it didn't come with all those vehicles etc., I would have gotten it, but this way it'll be too expensive for me. I might get that Underwater podracer though. Looks like a cool set, and it comes with a shark fig. Perhaps... But it also has a lower number than the big submarine. It's one of the largest, but not THE largest. I agree. So... Please, mods?

From that photostream that's being linked everywhere today: I really hope that this isn't the final sticker design for the wings of the spaceship. The stripes have to be diagonal! "I feel like a dumb jet trooper now". Well, I'm hoping that there is an error in that list and that only the Toy Story 3 sets and the Toy Soldiers set are being released in March, and the rest in December/January.

Agreed. I think it looks very accurate and awesome, unlike the old one. I'm a bot bummed, though, that the Imp. officer has a bley helmet. Dark bley looked better IMO.

First sign of SP3 2010! Look in the lower right corner: A lime green Kranxx and a new helmet for the police officer! I hope they fixed the airtightness issue. If this is like a $10 set or so, I'm totally getting it!

In this picture, you can see two Ben 10 sets in the upper left corner: Big Chill and Humongousaur. You can see them in other pics in this photostream too, but this is the best pic to see them in. These "sets" seem to be indeed just like Bionicle.

Uh... Last time I checked, a petrel is a kind of seabird. That's actually even funnier if I think about it but it's obviously a bad translation, just like the other set names (Robot Magma? ). Well, it is blasting the fire (with water), isn't it?
