I think all this fuss over a Bren DerWhatsHisFace fig are ridiculous. Everyone knows there aren't any main characters in BPs. It's just gonna be some rebel with a mustache. Of course, this doesn't mean you can't pretend that that's him.

Could you please descrbe that set a bit for us? And I agree that it's pretty disappointing and strange that a set with "shipwreck" in the title doesn't include a shipwreck.

This is one of my dream BPs as well. With Geonosians appearing in the second season of TCW, I'm hoping that this will be one of the next BPs. Nice job, but it would have been nice if all of the Geos had wings.

I really hope this is true. I was expecting this to happen ever since Lego started the CW subtheme. And as I am a huge CW fan, I want it to happen too. Can't wait to run over some battle droids in a Lego Fighter Tank. That would be my and pretty much everyone's guess as well. I highly doubt that they would make it about Tartakovski's 2D mini-series (which would be the only other option). About the gameplay: Well, it's a Lego game, so it will probably be the same as the other LSW games, especially if TTgames makes it.

Taking a closer look at that torso, it seems to have the general design of a Blacktron 1 torso, but with a Blacktron 2 symbol on it, so it's basically combining the the two old Blacktrons into a new one: Blacktron 3! Hopefully I'm right and Blacktron 3 will be the new enemy of SP3. It would make sense and it would be better than just a random bunch of crooks.

Sorry to bump this, but seeing the new 2010 pics got me thinking. A Disney Classics line of sets is becoming more and more possible. The new PoP turbans would be great for Aladdin, and Princess Tamina's hair piece would be perfect for Jasmine. The new tentacles piece of the Squid King in the Atlantis theme would be great for an Ursula fig, and we already have a mermaid, so Little Mermaid sets would be possible too. I could also imagine Beauty and the Beast figs, with Beast having a head piece similar to that of the old Chewbacca head piece, one that fit's on top of a minifig head, and it could have a prince head underneath it. And Belle could have the old Padme hair or something new. My point is that the figs shouldn't be a problem. Whether we'll get a Disney Classics line depends on whether TLG can come up with appealing sets to put those figs into. But that shouldn't be a problem either IMO.

Oh, the Target promos? Here you go: Good point. I guess now that they have reached the center of the earth, they are concentrating more on their mission to stop the rock monsters. It's still a bit controversial how they treat the monsters, but oh well. Did it? I thought that it was rather the other way around. Aside from small drilling/sawing tools, the first MM vehicles mainly sported weapons and prison pods, whereas the last wave had vehicles such as the big drilling unit or the little mining mech which had little to do with killing martians.

Seriously, what's SOOO bad about them? That they are highly posable? That they look very similar to their cartoon counterparts? That they are similar to (and compatible with) Lego's popular line of Bionicle toys? If most people don't mind Bionicle, why these? I just don't get it.

I know that. That's why I like it so much. Others however argue that the helmet looks too big in proportion to the rest of the fig, and I am saying that that is probably due to it being a prototype. Or maybe it's just the angle of the photo. When you look down on a current stormie fig, its helmet looks a bit big as well. Either way, I'm sure it'll look awesome in the end.

Yes, the first line of a year is usually officially January. But sets tend to pop up a few weeks early so that they can be sold for Xmas. So, what I'm guessing is that that's what will happen with the first few sets, and then the rest will come in summer when the new movie comes out.

Calm down, guys, I'm pretty sure that the helmet is a prototype. All the new prints and molds at that convention were decals and prototypes. It will probably be smaller and better printed in the final product. I like how it looks, and it will probably make for a great TIE Defender pilot helmet as well. But even though it also looks like the Phase 2 clone pilot helmet, I don't think it is the kind of helmet used in the ARC-170 because those seem to have open faces (as they should).

I still don't see how you guys can compare this with Galidor. To me, it's clearly more like Bionicle. They are completely Bionicle-like! Just look at them! They have the same "skeleton" as bionicles, but with new pieces for the head, forearms, and "armor". They just don't have as many Technic holes on the outside.

I don't know what you're talking about. There are no impulse sets for power miners. About the storyline: Yeah, I too must say that it's getting more and more clear who the real bad guys are. Oh well, it's still a cool theme (or a really hot one, considering the circumstances ). btw, the visors are not the old ice planet ones. They look similar, but they don't have the antenna. And yes, those red tabs are there to blow off the wall of the prison and that tower. Also, did anyone notice the "Cool Drinks" dispenser on top of that tower? You stick in a $100 bill and a soda can comes out of the bottom. Apparently, refreshments are very expensive at the Center of the Earth.

You're absolutely right, Ras. It's what TLC tends to do: If they think that a set isn't interesting enough, they just throw in a random Jedi that people would want to have. Just like they did with Mace in the CTT and the RAS. And I don't mind it either. :grin: Although it would sometimes be nice if it were a new jedi.

I think there is a good chance that the ARC-170 is not really based on anything. The CW only has Phase 1 clones, and we never saw Fisto fly in an ARC-170 in the movies, so my guess is that it is loosely based on Ep. 3, mixed with a little EU.

Apparently they can. I don't understand why they would give them those sets to be displayed at a public event where they are bound to be photographed and put on the web if they don't want them to be seen afterwards. TLC can be a bit stupid that way some times. I don't have those old pics, but I can tell you that ForceMaster's pics are much better anyway, so I would ask him to send them to you.

Anyway, I looked at some close-up pics of the minifigs that member ForceMaster took, and the new helmets for the police officers are new dark bley helmets with trans-red visor! They look like a mix of motorcycle helmets and the helmets from HALO. Lime green Kranxx has a new torso with a little Blacktron symbol on it! If you want to see the pics, PM ForceMaster.

Looking at pictures member ForceMaster has taken of Race Against Time, I can tell you that the set has a light-brick behind the trans-yellow bricks and includes a new sword! It has a handle that looks kinda like that of the old Orient Expedition scimitars (but better) and has a blade that looks like that of the Castle skeleton scythes. The blade is pearl silver whereas the handle is pearl/metalic gold. Also, the lion heads are definitely not gold, but some kind of orange-ish light brown. If you want to see the pics, PM ForceMaster.
