I'm with you on this one. This is definitely in the spirit of the Rule of Cool, and has a bunch of pretty cool parts for just 15€. What's to complain about? I think it's pearl-gold nunchucks! Anyone notice the NinjaGo subtitle "Masters of Spinjitzu"? This theme seems more gimmicky all the time... But one thing is for sure: This is gonna make helluva whacky theme month!

Hm... the pics are rather blurry, but I think you might be right... but still, it's nothing as cool as the Agents villains had. -

Hm... Well, at first glance, these seem a bit disappointing. Not bad, but not as great as some of them could have been. The hula girl would have been better with a ukulele as pointed out so many times before, the angler would have looked much better with this kind of hat, the "cyborg" doesn't have any facial implants as I was hoping, the mummy just looks like one of the Toy Story army men wrapped in TP since it's white, and the gorilla is too unrealistic and really just looks like a guy in a costume, and the Sumo is just plain boring at this point, and I don't think that's gonna change much. The Chief, samurai, and pilot look just like the figs I already have from the 90s, so they are not of interest to me, and the sports people don't do it for me either even though they are very nice and detailed. That said, the highlights of this line for me are the Alien (with his awesome color scheme and steampunkish raygun ), Rapper (gotta love the hat, glasses, and boom box), and Elf (very nice and detailed, and WITH pointy ears!). The fact that the alien's head and the boom box should be very easy to feel make them even better! And despite my disappointment about the head, the Blacktron Cyborg (I'm pretty sure that's a Blacktron 2 symbol on his chest) is a useful fig too. I'll probably end up getting only half of these at the most. My wallet will be grateful. -

Ugh! How did I not see that? I'm pretty sure I looked at that review. This clue was pretty lame, no offense. Skrall really isn't very close to a Spartan aside from his choice of weapons. But oh well. Not sure if I enjoyed this, with all the frustration that was involved, but at least you really made us work for entering a raffle for once. So, good job. And now, we wait... -
I'd actually love to see a Coronet set, just to see how TLG makes it stand up right. But yeah, this episode was quite mediocre, although it did have it's moments. Aside from that Anakin-moment, I also liked how Obi found out who the traitor was, and how the probe used a clone's corpse as bait, which was a pretty dark and clever thing to do for a droid. Again, sorry that we're so behind. I'll get working on the next review soon.

That's what I meant, but I guess it will be public soon anyway. -

Are the pics that numerous that you can't link to them individually? (I'm not being impatient, just trying to find a solution so that those who are will stop spamming) -

With what? They only had a couple of giant metal squids. Even if those were carrying explosives, they probably wouldn't be enough to destroy the whole factory. And as for domino squad, they are at war, so every clone counts (as we have seen in Rookies), and I'm sure it would have been a waste of resources to just cast them aside, especially if they did that with every squad that fails the first tests. -
"I'm a genius!!!" - Zim Thanks. Yeah, I might make more later on. I also still need to make Zim in disguise (that shouldn't be too hard ) and Gir in duty-mode. The Tallest would be hard to do; they would end up being recolored versions of Zim since you can't really vary the height on CubeDudes. By the way, the center stud on Dib and GIR's eyes are meant to be their pupils, hence me using those pieces rather than the tiles like on Zim. I do my best. Well, like KielDaMan and computerbug pointed out, these are very simple cartoon characters, so there's not much texture one can add. Besides, these are my first "CDs", so I'm still figuring out how to make them. Don't give up, just think about it and you'll see there are still lots of characters to "cubify".

Well, I give up. I just can't crack the clue for the Spartan. I gave each word in the clue into the search engine, looked through most reviews in the action themes and action figures forums, and tried all kinds of ways to think outside the box, but came out with a big fat nothing. Oh well, 3 raffles chances are good enough, I guess. I have sent my PM and am waiting to experience a "Doh!"-moment when the locations of the images are revealed. You will reveal them at the end, right? -
Very nice, but a bit static since a lot of the scenes are just pictures. Then again, I wouldn't know how to do it better. Some lip-syncing would have definitely added to the scene though. Still, good job.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

Yes, these episodes were pretty amazing. Cadets was good, a very nice insight on the training of clones, around the league of Rookies. ARC Troopers was great! Very good lightsaber duels, battles, and cinematography. My only complaints are that Grievous once again failed to kill anyone (although, for the first time, I liked how he escaped since he proved that it comes in handy to be a four-armed cyborg), and that this episode called "ARC Troopers" could have had better (or at least more) action from the real ARC Troopers. Oh well, they still managed to keep their promise of this being a big step-up from the last season. It's hard to believe they'll keep their promise with the next episode, what with the old concepts and Jar Jar and all, but we'll see. -
When and what will the next themed month be?
Oky replied to Joey Lock's topic in Forum Information and Help
I certainly wasn't. Not sure what to think of it. I just hope this doesn't mean we can't have a Harry Potter Month later this year. -
For any of you who might have missed it or just want to see it again, CN is showing the Atlantis mini-movie again tomorrow, Saturday, at 11:30 am EST.
-
I wouldn't be so sure that it'll be that easy. Lego seems to have learnt their lesson about the barcodes, so these might not have any, just like Series 3. Klaus Dieter already confirmed for us that they wont be Anime-styled, but I guess that could always change in the final version, though I hope it wont.

No problem. Let me guess - You want to recreate her starfighter? Yeah, I like her too, even if she's a bit strict. I'm looking for a cheap Poison Ivy head on bricklink so that I can make a minifig of her. So, are you saying you haven't read any of the webcomics yet? You really should! They're better than the show itself! You don't follow this thread much, do ya? That video (which is not a trailer, but an excerpt) was already posted two pages ago, along with one from "ARC Troopers". And that scene by the end of that CW Answers video is a scene from "Dutchess of Mandalore". But we did see Ahsoka fighting some Mandalorian guards in one of the trailers, and the whole Mandalore Plot story arc was never really resolved, so I think a return of the DW is quite possible. -
I was watching Zim the other day and suddenly realized that all the characters look like CubeDubes. I was surprised to find that no one has made them yet, so I did. VICTORY FOR ME! Zim & GIR "I am Zim!" "I'm gonna sing the Doom Song now..." Dib & GIR in disguise "My head is NOT BIG!" "TACOOOOS!" Zim VS. Dib Dib VS Zim. Earth VS Irk. Dumb VS Dumber. I hope you like 'em, and I apologize if this is in the wrong place. All hail the Irken Empire!

Why don't you tell us, oh all-knowing Cwetqo? All the new info from 1000steine.de is for the first half, so you might be right about getting more sets in the second half.

Exactly, and that's why it should be in action themes. Can someone please close or merge this?

The webcomic for the new season has begun! It connects right to the last one. By the way, did anyone watch MAD last night? It had a hilarious (though rather silly) parody of The Clone Wars! Check the CN website for it next week! -
I'm pretty sure it will be the same number, but with a dollar sign in front of it, like always. And don't forget that each ninja also comes with at least one card and one of those spinning disk thingies.
-
Not only that, but apparently Ninjas VS. Undead Nazi Biker Skeletons with Technology!
-
YES! I would definitely love to have that too! Uh... Clutch Powers consisted almost entirely of sets that already exist. Just go to the store (or bricklink or ebay) and buy them. The only things missing are the characters from the movie, but those aren't all that hard to recreate. Sure, that would be neat! I probably wouldn't buy it though, just like the other exclusives. Maybe it could come with some park visitors with Mickey Mouse hats!

The what?
