Amen! But the thing is, in war, you can't trust anyone. -

I checked there regularly ever since you posted that, but I just can't find it. Oh, and that review might not be happening. I'm kinda busy now, and I don't think anyone cares for a review of such a small promo. I'll just say that it's a nice set to get that fig and those slope pieces, but otherwise not much. -

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

Yeah, this episode was pretty meh. Better than the last one, but not much. You knew who was responsible for the incident, so you just spent the entire episode waiting for them to catch the bad guys. The final battle wasn't all that great either. The next episode doesn't seem very good either. I hope I'm wrong because so far I've been quite underwhelmed with this season. I'm ready for the Ventress and Savage episodes now please. Good question! More importantly, why do Earthlings all drink the same beverage? What do you mean? Retconned what? -

Indeed. What were the odds that we chose such similar attack patterns in the last round? Well, looks like I'm available again. Anyone wanna piece of Turkish delight? -
Thanks for this exceptional review! You did a great job, and even almost made me want this set, but I think I'll stick with my copy of the first edition which really wasn't so bad as Matn says. The only thing missing in the review would be a comparison pic of the new hut with the old one(s). I'll try not to be offended by that. Seriously though, I agree with def that you were a bit too hard on the figs, especially Hermione. Yes, she does look too generic and not very accurate, but you can still tell it's supposed to be her. And her face is definitely different from Tamina's. The differences are subtle, but they are there. I think the problem is that TLG tried too hard to make her non-book-specific and to stick to the current facial style for minifigs. Not to mention that the hairpiece they chose doesn't look like Hermione's hair at all. I'll probably switch it for the original fig when I get it. PS: I love what you did in the lower right corner of the title pic!

What's the difference? You can tell by the green "B" on his chest and overall color scheme. Anyway, let's not get off topic.

Well, there is the Future Star Wars Sets thread which is the place to discuss wishes for future sets and which there is a link for in the forum index, so obviously you didn't search very well at all. I personally don't like TIEs, so I don't really care, but I must agree that we are due for a more accurate TIE with more accurate pilot.

I'd say get the temple and buy all the special parts from the portal from PAB. Funny how tastes differ; I'd take blue and lime over red and yellow any day. But yeah, next year is gonna be great for blacktron fans, especially with that blacktron cyborg fig in the Minifig Series 3.

Ooh, those are great, tin7! I love 'em! But I think some of them would benefit from having more half-closed eyes, such as Jet and Avatar Kyoshi. Otherwise superb work! Your highly detailed custom accessories are incredible! -

Okay Turkoglu, Hufflepuff Auror Health: 5 Spells: Stupefy Expelliarmus Mastery Abilities: Natural Talent Pets: Cat Baloo Biography: Okay was born in Istanbul, Turkey. His parents were both muggles and were always fair and kind to him. He went to muggle school until his eleventh birthday. He showed special abilities that no one could explain, which caused many of his classmates to call him a freak. Because of this, Okay had a low self-esteem. But when he learned that he is a wizard, he was very proud of his abilities and was eager to learn to control them, so he traveled to England in order to enroll at Hogwarts, a school with a very good reputation as he had heard. Due to his friendly, non-judgmental personality, he got sorted into Hufflepuff. He is doing pretty well at school, and when he learned that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has returned, he saw an opportunity to finally be somebody by helping in the fight against this new threat! He also hopes to bring back some glory for his house of Hufflepuff, something it has been lacking for centuries. Duel History: Won: 15 Lost: 10 Drawn: 1 Was attacked and defeated by fellow Hufflepuff Frankfurt Flashburn in the owlery. Lost his second duel to the evil Carlos Peerce. Accepted a rematch with Frankfurt Flashburn... and lost again by one hit. Getting tired of his loosing streak, he challenged Ravenclaw Philius Pylos and finally won his first duel. Realizing that Ravenclaws were easier to defeat, he challenged Jin Chang next and, sure enough, won before the third round was even over. Now a practitioner and capable of the Stupefy spell, Okay accepted Diana Fabray's challenge and won after only 1 1/2 rounds, making her eat mud for mocking his house. His success continued as he challenged and defeated Gryffindor Ollivander Dippet. His next match against newcomer Lelith DeNomolos was close, but in the end, Okay came out of it as the victor, and learned Expelliarmus along the way. Being the first to become an adept after Carlos Peerce, he thought he would be able to take his revenge on the Slytherin, but alas, he was still not strong enough. Neither was he able to hold his own against Diana Fabray a second time and payed the price of loosing an ice cream cone. The first adept to fall before Turkoglu was Ollivander Dippet who he defeated with a skillful comeback in the third round. This victory gave him the confidence to duel Frankfurt Flashburn a third time and he finally won against his fellow Hufflepuff. He then tried to avenge his ice cream cone by dueling Diana Fabray again, but instead of a frozen treat, all he got was the bitter taste of defeat. Next, he dueled Ollivander Dippet once more, however this time their powers were matched, and so, after a four-round duel, they ended up in a tie. His following duel was more fruitful as he defeated Johann Peterschmut without taking a hit. Feeling lucky, Okay took on Frankfurt Flashburn once again and won, settling the score with his fellow Hufflepuff and reaching Magus status. Having developed a natural talent for his spells, Okay was able to take on Diana Fabray once more and finally avenge his ice cream cone. She challenged him to a rematch by spilling some of his Bertie Bots Beans, but he swiftly finished her off in two rounds. He then had a friendly duel with Ollivander Dippet again after stalking him at Puddifoot's and won. After Frankfurt wore him down, Okay was finally able to defeat Carlos Peerce! He completed his dueling training with a quick defeat of Walter Kovacs. But his days of dueling were far from over... He hunted down and defeated his old nemesis, Diana Fabray, who had become a talented Death Eater, and scarred her pretty face. For the following months he traveled the world searching for Death Eaters. During his journey, he abandoned the use of the Sectumsempra spell as it was too terrible of a spell for an Auror like him to use. In order to learn a new ability to replace that spell he decided to go back to Hogwarts as an Magus. The first opponent to duel him after this change was Kestrel Kingfisher who managed to defeat him. Taking advantage of Okay's loss of a spell, Diana Fabray challenged the Magus. They fought long and hard, but she finally bested him in sudden death. Okay made his first step back toward Aurorhood with a duel against the new student Clen Vierno. He continued to regain his wins by defeating fellow Hufflepuff Magus Frankfurt Flashburn. He then challenged Kestrel Kingfisher to a rematch, but was defeated once more. Okay had a rematch with Miss Fabray and defeated her, delaying her rise to Dark Lady. He then challenged Frankfurt Flashburn to a winner-regains-Aurorship rematch, but unfortunately he lost this time. Okay managed to regain his Auror status with his next duel against Clen Vierno and adopted a cat who he named Baloo. With his new furry ally, he had a successful rematch against Frankfurt Flashburn. -
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Either that, or Obi and Anakin turned to the dark side, disfiguring their faces in the process. Here's a link for all the lazy people by the way. -
Nice work. I especially like how you did that SPQR staff. However, I have agree with the other criticisms. The tent really could have been better. At the very least it should have that marquee, and as it has been pointed out, the tent needs to be sloped. But it's a good start. And yes, Hound Knight's Asterix would compliment this MOC perfectly!

Haven't we had several topics like this already? And why limit it to four of all numbers? And what's up with people listing figs that already exist or will exist?

New webcomic is up too. Right. Investigate. With flamethrowers. We've already seen hundreds of unborn clones die. How bad can the poisoning of a couple of Mando kids be? -
New Trailer! Cool stuff, but unfortunately kinda crappy quality. They mention the fact that you can't clone jedi, so hopefully that will be explained in the game.

Thanks. It couldn't be called the "Ultimate HP Poll" if it wasn't, now could it? Well, I didn't vote for it because of the figs and details in the new version, but I'll answer anyway. Most reasons have already been mentioned: It had a nice round shape, Norbert and Dumbledore, a bunch of accessories, and opened up into a nice big playset. Whoopsie-daisy! Yeah, I guess I do suck. I was looking at the S@H description while writing that, and didn't even think about it. I corrected it now. Interesting that most of you like the motorized Express better than the new one. Motorization is a neat feature, and the tavern/station is pretty good, but tracks and motors is something one can easily get separately and add to any Express, and the Weasley car is pretty good for what it is. I personally like the details and rounded roof on the new one better.

Yeah, that custom Trench is pretty good, although the head is ginormous, the waist too thin, and he only has four arms (not sure if it's even possible to make a six-armed minifig and make it look good). In the very next episode to be exact. Oh well, we can always come back to it once we have official pics.

Mechanical Monster Mosquito of Doom! This pesky little beast was created to take the Hero Factory down from the inside! It flies through the air at high speed and claws itself carefully onto the hull of a hero or vehicle. There, using the titanium teeth at the front of its tube-like mouth, it drills into the oil pipes of the enemy and starts sucking out all the oil until the machinery inside the enemy is damaged. It then uses the stolen oil to fuel itself and move on to its next victim. A bloodsucking, self-fueling, cost-efficient creature that takes its enemies down from the inside - What's for a villain not to love!

Not to mention disregard all Jedi principles. Yeah, what was up with that? I was seriously considering to include him on the wishlist since we're kinda overdue for an Ithorian, but since he was just a background character, I didn't bother. I agree, that could be an interesting set, especially if it has a good interior and some new Jedi/clones. You're getting sloppy, "defzo"! Hello. Uhm... Wrong topic? Bye. Anyway, here's the next review: Episode 16: Cat and Mouse This episode is another prequel to The Clone Wars feature film. It revolves around a prototype ship with a cloaking device. Anakin uses it to deliver the supplies for Organa to Christophsis, right under the nose of Admiral Trench, the tarantula-like Separatist who is leading the blockade. However, Trench is a smart fella, so he bombs Organa and his troops to put presure on the republic. And so, Anakin engages his dreadnaught, even though Obi Wan and Admiral Yularen (who reveals that he has fought Trench before, giving us a nice bit of backstory on him) advise him not to. The first attack is fruitless, but then, in a risky maneuver, he forces Trench to lower his shields and fire homing torpedoes, and uses those torpedoes to take Trench out with his own weapons. This episode started out with a cool premise (a ship that can go invisible) and didn't disappoint. The action was intense, and the whole episode had a nice mood to it. Some scenes felt like those submarine movies, with the red lighting and the beeping sonar. Trench seemed like a competent admiral, the kind of character this show needs more of. Therefore, it was too bad to see him die, but knowing the messy continuity of this show, he might return some day. Anakin's arrogance got kind of annoying after a while, but at least he didn't do anything too stupid. Also, I don't feel like the possibilities of having a ship with cloaking device were fully explored, so I definitely wouldn't mind seeing this technology again. Overall, a pretty good episode. 8/10. Most of this episode takes place on board the stealth ship. Like Filoni himself says, it basically looks like a giant, flying pencil. I personally could live without a Lego version of it, but it was a neat ship in the episode, so why not. Stealth Ship The only other new ship is Trench's dreadnaught, The Invincible. It's very similar to the usual Providence-class cruiser, but is supposedly larger and has a different kind of bridge. I don't really care about this particular ship, but at this point, I'd take any CIS capital ship. The Invincible The most notable new character is Admiral Trench. With his six arms and tarantula head, he would make a pretty sweet minifig! Admiral Trench Another new character is this unidentified special clone pilot, a sort of predecessor to the TIE pilot. Kinda cool looking. We also see Special Ops Troopers. These "Bose/Leia troopers" were also seen in Point Rain, but this time they have a black/grey color scheme to match the color of outer space. Special Ops Troopers (I created that page just for this review! ) Lego Ships Appearing: Venator, Republic Attack Shuttle, AT-TE, AAT, Hyena Droid Bomber. Lego Wishlist: Stealth Ship, Separatist dreadnaught, Special Ops Troopers and pilot, Admiral Trench.
