I like it. Much more ominous looking than the official set, mostly due to the lack of snow and the addition of the pointy fence. Too bad you never include interior in your MOCs; it would have been interesting to see all the destroyed furniture and stuff. Oh well. Who are the minifigs supposed to be?

I know, but the fact that it said "Oky" instead of "Obi" was hilarious to me. -

The Republic did help in the end though, so there wouldn't really be a reason for Cham to quit his affiliation with the Republic, but I get what you're saying, and your theory is probably the one that makes most sense right now. I hate how they keep creating more questions rather than answering any. I fear this show will end up like "LOST" and leave all the EU writers to retcon all the facts they have messed up. You like him? Then why do you keep calling him "Felony"? I thought it was supposed to be a clever, cynic nickname referencing his crimes against the EU. So, it's just a typo then? Perhaps it was changed since you posted this, but right now it links to the ANH Greedo. By the way, when I followed the link, I was very amused to see this at the top of the page! -
Count Dooku's Speederbike: Unload Count Dooku. Assassin Droid Elite: Attack H9. STAP from I18 to I16. Move STAP from V14 to T12. Turn Hailfire from S/T9 to S8/9.

Thanks for the picture! I'm disappointed that there is no magnet set with Ron it. He's the fig I'd want most in such a cheap set. Oh well, maybe there will still be one later on. The ones we did get are good though. If I don't get the castle, I'll probably get these. @ Baylego: You do realize Snape and Dumbledore are in separate magnet sets, right?

I really hope it's the elder, because a Basic-speaking ANH-Greedo in the Clone Wars is just gonna piss people of. As I said before, it's the only thing that would make sense. -

Uh, no, it says Supply lines precedes all the others. Which doesn't really make sense in regard to Syndulla. And it must have been your ears because it said the droid army was closing in. You should go get your eyes and ears checked. Yeah, don't remind me. That whole season finale was messed up. -

Well, there go all my arguments against the possibility of Greedo appearing in this series. Ugh! It doesn't make sense at all! I wish they would lay off all that OT-fan service. Most hardcore OT fans don't even watch this show. Anyway, the episode was alright. I liked the battle, and I'll join sok17 in saying that the Jar Jar bit was kinda funny. It's good to know that he can at least be a good distraction. Aside from the Greedo part, the next episode looks a little better than this one. Can't wait to see Lucas' character be a badass. You mean Cham Syndulla? He's not a criminal, he's a freedom fighter, but yeah, I've been wondering that too. Perhaps this episode is before Ambush, but after the first Ryloth trilogy? Yeah, besides, killed by what? They're just delivering a corpse to Kamino, and you don't think Kamino will be under attack again, do you? -
Thanks. That's what I was going for.

Owen Lars even calls him Little Orphan Annie (in Robot Chicken anyway). -
Uh, no. I said I got the Obi one, didn't I? Lies! You're just afraid to see what I'll post next! In the meantime, I have created a little banner for this thread: Glad you're having fun, guys!

After all the main characters of Toy Story had already gotten love interests, Pixar decided to start giving love interests to some of the secondary characters such as the Army Men in the next sequel. Just a quick, fun head swapping I did. Hope you like it.

Aren't the zoom feature on Lego.com and the old ToyFair pics enough for you?

What was the deal with the old mummies anyway? Were they undead? They looked like it, and the box arts seemed to suggest that, but the story never involved undead mummies or anything like that.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion

New webcomic is up. Unfortunately it has a very weird style. Anakin looks like he's wearing lipstick in one of the pictures and it involves a Hutt who's even fatter and uglier than Jabba and Ziro. I think the plot might be leading up to the episode where Anakin talks with Ziro. Yeah, aside from Trench, he's the only one I'd want to see return. These episodes are prequels to the first ryloth trilogy, so as long as they keep Anakin and the Resolute out of the story, he could make another appearance. Ah, thanks for letting me know, I haven't read it yet. -
It looks like a bad Bionicle to me. I prefer the castle ones that actually look like dragons. I think those are just their watches or something... Otherwise they would be shown better in the pic, and the one kid wouldn't have his hand stretched out as if he just spun his top by hand... I think.
-
I'm not very good at building Technic MOCs, but I think I'll give this a try, just to give my Bionicle parts a purpose. Just some questions though: What are considered to be "iconic Bionicle masks" (i.e. which ones do you not want us to use)? Does our vehicle entry have to be themed after one of the HF villains or can it be a generic "bad guy vehicle"?

Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone; it's just hard for me to believe that the great pharaoh's last request was it to be buried in a tomb that will shoot his corpse halfway across the desert at the first sign of intruders.

Does that change anything about the fact that it's a misprint?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion
Oky replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm not saying the little "B" on his chest is what makes the figure special. People will still say "Oh, he's a bad, half-robot space guy" or something and will want to have him. I just expected more enthusiasm from the AFOLs on this site, but oh well. By the way, I don't think these "What do you want/expect to see" discussions belong in this thread. This discussion is for Series 3 only, I believe. -
Speaking of the columns, does it bother anyone else that they all seem to have the "rolls" (Modified 1 x 1 plate with Clip Light + pearl gold stud) only on one side? Kinda cheap if you ask me. Oh well.

Have you contacted TLC if they can send you a replacement? And look on the bright side - this piece is gonna go for a lot on bricklink.
-
That looks great! It's very clean and very detailed at the same time! Good work. But why is it called "Hanger 5"? I don't see anything hanging from it.
-
I never said that they aren't spinning. I guess you just spin them with your hands and hope they bump into each other by chance, because I don't expect any kind of control system from TLC either. But yeah, this would be great for Star Wars since that would allow us to buy individual Jedi and Sith! But that's off topic...

These sets look better than I feared, although they're not as great as they could have been. I'm just glad to have Adventurers back, and a Sphinx that turns into a mech is still a whole lot better than one with a stupid ejector-seat in my book. Even though this does seem like Atlantis-in-Egypt, I think the idea of statues that come to live is pretty neat. Race for the Golden Staff and Duel in the Air are definitely my favorites, and I'll likely get multiples. I might get the Cursed Cobra too, depending on the price. I don't get the complaint about the guns though. The first Adventurers sets had lots of them too, even on the Bi-planes. So what if one or two more vehicles have one gun mounted on them?
