Nice little update! I guess you were overdue for a Batgirl, and she turned out nicely, although it looks a bit cross-eyed. I really like that Babydoll. Those bangs make her look very BTAS-ish. Indeed, I have, except I used 100% Lego pieces. I should have copyrighted that design.

Haha! Very well done, and an interesting "What If" scenario! There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said. I also like the way you portrayed the Ewok's fuzzy fur by having him covered in studs, and the speederbike is indeed pretty good. Good luck in the contest!

That's another issue. Do you really think they will reintroduce that Indiana Jones gun in a new color? One interesting thing to note, though, is that this is not the Nick Fury with trench coat from the movie, It's a more comic accurate version with the SHIELD suit with all the straps and stuff. So, if he does show up in a set, I don't think it will be an Avengers set. He might be in a Spider-man set after all, assuming that he will appear in this outfit in the show, although he has only been seen with a trench coat there so far too.

Just because Fury is in that poster doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get him, or that he will look like this if we do. Remember that the HP movie posters included lots of characters and versions of Harry and friends that we have never gotten and probably never will. But yeah, it would be a crime if they don't release him, especially after they said they would. I guess we'll have to wait and see (again).

The second half of the wall of the Quidditch pitch is finished! Now I'm just waiting for a bricklink order so that I can finish the rest of the stands and towers as well. Hopefully it will get here in time. Acio bricklink order!

I know. As I said on Flickr, I used the closest things I could find to a mace, plus the Duplo version of the flail is called a mace on bricklink.

I noticed most of those. I thought they were just random names, but looking through this topic, I don't think anything is really random in Lego sets, so perhaps you're on to something. Really? Looks more like a regular triangle with a hole to me. If it were supposed to be that Insectoid crystal, the sides of it would be straighter, and it would have those pegs coming out of the corners. Besides, why would somebody at the Gravity Games have an alien artifact from the future on his shirt? Indeed. I thought it was obvious enough not to mention, and it's more a Lucasfilm EE than a Lego EE, but I guess it's worth to put on the list.

I don't think he failed. I think that's the way Stormtrooper masks are supposed to be, kinda like balaclavas for racing.

Well, I recently bought most of the new sets, all of which have great new minifigures, and with great minifigures comes great responsibility potential for new funnies! The question is not what it is, but when it will be. Since the S6 contest will still be going on for another month, I imagine it wont be for a while... But please no scavenger hunt! These contests are so much more creative, productive, and fun! Let the tradition continue, I'd say.

I guess only the UK is doing the preorder thing. I don't care though; if the sets are available in stores from the first, why would you want to pay for shipping and wait an extra week or two for them to be shipped to you?

Well, it will be too late to consider it a part of the CB, but we would still like to see your creation. Alright, here's the main source of canon story for PM, at least for the US:

The RR didn't have chrome crystals, only chrome drills. They were the same bright green ones that also appeared in the PM sets.

The Power Miners were sent underground to find out the cause of some earthquakes, which turned out to be the rock monsters, so they decided to collect all the crystals that the rock monsters eat in order to stop them, and later decided to hunt down and imprison the Lava monster who live deeper in the core. So, unless there is something else the Rock Monsters eat, I think it's safe to say that the Power Miners' mission was it to starve them to death. The rock monsters in RR were the same, except they played more the role of an occupational hazard. I still voted for the PM though since I really like their vehicles. A giant two-directional drill on spiky wheels will always be better than a regular drill on shuffling legs. But I can't deny that the RR HQ was better than the PM Station and Lavatraz combined, mostly because it actually made sense.
