  1. Well, if we're gonna limit it to the Avengers, I'm gonna have to go with Iron Man. He's my favorite Avenger anyway, and I think Lego did a pretty good job on him. I like the fact that he comes in two different suits. He's very detailed, especially his helmet, and while his head might be a bit big, he has an opening faceplate and a double-sided head! I think that's pretty cool. But why don't we have a poll for all the Marvel figs? I know the Spiderman figs haven't been seen yet, but it can't be long now...
  2. Cole says that it was him who found the second fang blade and turned it into a trophy.
  3. Hence the words "to some extent". He does have a bulletproof costume and extraordinary healing. He may not be considered super-human, just like Tony Stark, but their abilities are still better than any other human, so that makes them somewhat "super" in my book. After all, they call him a super soldier, don't they? And as you said, he is much more super in the movies.
  4. This series is turning out better than I thought. Zane is totally awesome - he is even a perfect dancer! Pythor is also a pretty good villain. Befriending someone just to betray them afterwards is pretty messed up for a kids show like this. I think it was confirmed that Ninjago is a planet all of its own, created by Sensei Wu's father. Clutch probably traveled to it on one of his adventures like he traveled to the Castle planet. The series still might take place in the future, but not far, I think. Either way, it was a neat reference.
  5. Yeah, you're probably right. Since he only had his powers for like 5 minutes (on Earth) in his movie, I couldn't remember if he could fly or not, but he certainly seems to be doing it in The Avengers. Thankfully, since this is Marvel, flight capability is not being counted as a major superpower. At least not on the microsite.
  6. Those quotes may be "serious", but I am still very skeptical about this rumor. Like some have said, an Ewok wouldn't make nearly as much sense as the already existing chrome figures, not to mention that there are many other characters that would make more sense to be made in chrome. Besides, don't Ewoks have black/brown eyes?
  7. I'm not sure if he can in the movieverse, but usually yes.
  8. They both have super strength and invulnerability to some extent, but the Hulk exceeds them both in those qualities of course. Also, Thor can control storms, and Cap has excellent military training. They are both very good fighters, and I think they both have super senses too.
  9. I believe the last one is supposed to be Combat Skills. By the way, I love how on a scale from 1-10, Hulk and Iron man score an 11 in strength and intelligence respectively.
  10. If you don't get it, how can you say it's stupid? It doesn't stop the plan directly, but it helps him defeat the bad guy, much like in Clutch Powers. What that evil plan is exactly I couldn't quite figure out myself, but I guess we'll find out. And it never said he "likes in a shitty dull world", just that everyone there follows instructions. If the world was dull and shitty there wouldn't be a point in saving it, now would there?
  11. Thanks guys! Here's a new batch, all from me this time again. First off, here's another Seasee pun: Sassy Tiin Anybody remember that great little scene from the Phantom Menace when Qui Gon knocks Jar Jar out in the Bongo and Obi-Wan remarks that he overdid it? Well, some fans might agree that he didn't do enough. And last, but not least, a little lightsaber joke:
  12. Cool! (Not the lack of Spidey & Friends, but the look of the teaser site) I hope they'll have a wallpaper like this! Well, they could couple it with a polybag like they did for POTC and the Mini Black Pearl, but it's still a stretch. I'm gonna have to go with the theory that he's in the Spidey set, but we'll see. Indeed. I bet they will go up for pre-order right after the promotion. Yeah, Iron Man's texture map seems damaged somehow, but I don't see anything on Loki's back, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have any back printing since he wears a cape. Same with Magneto, but I hope I'm wrong. No, that's Speed. The minifig isn't falling, it's making a handstand.
  13. Not a big deal, if you ask me. I doubt that there will be any exclusives since other sites sell Lego too (such as StarWarsShop.com) and don't have any exclusives either, and the 5% cash back isn't anything to write home about either since you basically get the same thing as a Lego VIP member from S@H. The payment plans might be of use to some people though.
  14. Meh, sounds kinda neat, although still quite cheesy. I do like the references to real-world aspects, such as the Master Builders and the way people start making MOCs instead of building by instructions.
  15. YES! Clancy Brown as Luthor! Alas, no Mark Hamill as Joker, but that was to be expected I guess. As long as they get more voices from the animated shows, I don't mind the new dialogues at all! They will probably only use them for the cutscenes anyway.
  16. Oops! I just noticed that the deadline was extended. If you don't mind, I'll keep the slot, just in case I can find the time to finish it before the deadline after all.
  17. Oh, right, I always forget about that. I guess it couldn't have been CorneliusMurdock either then. Well, in that case, anybody's guess is as good as mine. EDIT: Actually, now that I see that it was KielDaMan who made the frontpage post about the CB, it was probably him.
  18. Mister Quidditcher - For ditching the HP CB without finishing my Quidditch pitch. I'm guessing it's from Macoco. I deserve it.
  19. Thanks! It sure is nice to have a showcase like this! And that's not all - I still have the Republic frigate, AT-TE, UCS X-Wing & TIE Interceptor, 4504 Millennium Falcon, and a few smaller sets in my closet.
  20. I got a room makeover for Xmas last year, and that included three big bookcases for displaying my sets and MOCs! The middle one has most of my Clone Wars sets. The one to the right includes vehicles from other factions, as well as my Bionicles, mechs, and my KimT bust. The left one contains all my other licensed and action theme sets and MOCs. In case you're wondering, that's the new Batcave behind the window reflection. Also note the Venator, RGS, and UCS Grievous on top. Each shelf has a theme. From top to bottom, it's: Trade Federation forces, Battle of Geonosis, random CW battle, Republic Hangar, CIS Hangar, miscellaneous other CW vehicles. And these are the sets in the other bookcase: The podracers; pirates, bounty hunters, and Mandos; and my Y-Wing (with a bit of space for future sets).
  21. Wow, this is heavy! (Or very light, seeing as it is flying.) Thanks for sharing! Well, it is already very hard to get Lego airborne (Check out this thread for more on that), so building something completely out of Lego that can both fly AND resemble a DeLorean is most likely impossible. However, there are some ways to cheat in order to get the same effect (again, check the aforementioned thread for more on that). If somebody pulls it off, though, that would some serious shit.
  22. Haha, good stuff again, Penguin. That last one is indeed very "you". Since you asked for it, here are some more from me. Not sure if I'm allowed to deeplink the first one, but here it goes: Collectable Riddlerfigures Series 8 by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr The Playboy and the Kryptonian by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Tardy Superman by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  23. Hi everyone. It is with a heavy heart that I must withdraw my entry from the build. I simply do not have the time or the bricks right now to get it anywhere near finished. I'm very sorry and I applaud all of the entrants. All the entries in this build are fantastic!
  24. Well, it does say that he grabbed an air vent, so I'm guessing he crawled out of the facility through the ventilation system and caught a freighter to Lotho Minor. Either that or his legs hit the floor first and broke his fall, and then this happened.
