  1. Oh no! You've both turned to the dark side! The rebel bloggers have more to do with the Sith than with rebels now... Congrats, you two! I'm sure you'll do great (although I have a bad feeling that there will be a lot less tolerance towards pro-CW posts now that Doc is a regulator ). Hopefully you'll still have some time for the blog. It seems like it's only a matter of time until all the rebel bloggers are staff.
  2. Thanks! Deadpool tends to call guns "doorknobs".
  3. Hehe, not bad, although I think it might have worked better with a Lego horse since MLP has nothing to do with the joke. Yet more Marvel funnies! The first was created after I noticed that almost all the Avengers sets have a fire extinguisher, even the freakin truck. 4. Wow, very nice, Mood! I'm happy to have inspired such an excellent crossover MOC! It has a good amount of features from both vehicles. However, I agree with Legocrazy81 that the nose should be longer. The Batwing in the Animated Series had a relatively long nose too, so I don't see anything wrong with extending the one on your MOC. And yes, please do make a Bow-Tie Advanced for Darth Joker!
  5. Thanks, although that's not an uncommon thing to do for a brony. I see what you did there. Geez, kind of overkill, isn't it? I think we would have gotten the joke with only half of that speech. By the way, is that Christmas tree line from somewhere? 6. Received my prize yesterday and am very happy with it. Thanks once again, WhiteFang! And thanks to all those who voted for my entries. Also, congrats to my fellow winners.
  7. Oh, that's too bad. I hope you'll be able to join us next time. Sorry, I coulda sworn I indexed it already. Done. I'm afraid you're too late for that one. However, you're welcome to post your MOC regardless.
  8. Very good indeed. Like Simon said, the use of the cannons was a good idea. Personally, I would have liked to see some more pistons and/or pipes, but it's very good as it is. There may not have been any steampunk vehicles in AOTC, but it's close enough for the CB, so I added it to the index. Also, I blogged it a week ago.
  9. Thanks for the pics! But I gotta say... Meh. Aquaman looks too generic. Can't say much about Cyborg since the pic is too blurry and distorted. Very disappointed with Flash. He looks more like a guy in an oversized Flash costume than the Scarlet Speedster himself. Why didn't they give him a printed head like Captain America? They could have at least given him white eyes. I really hope he will look different when he is made into a real minifig. Sinestro looks awesome though. We really need a set with him and Hal.
  10. I guess we should have seen this coming with the new hood and bear molds. Sounds interesting to me. I bet it will be like the Arctic theme, with a team of explorers searching for treasures in the arctic. Sort of like a winter-themed Power Miners, but with polar bears and maybe even yetis instead of rock monsters. And yes, Polar Expedition would make much more sense than Polar Express. Looking forward to the first pictures.
  11. Fair enough, although there is not much of duel going on there. Come now, Doc, isn't that a bit harsh? I don't think we ban members just for not responding fast enough.
  12. Well, it took you a while, but at last you got them done, and they look good as always. Although I would have zoomed in on the Emperor in that second one so as to not cover his eyes with the title (and not have the Skywalkers' heads stick out from the bottom like that).
  13. WHAT TIME IS IT? BIRTHDAY TIME! Happy Birthday, bro.
  14. Ugh! Why did they have to stick with the anime hair for Nightwing? And I agree, this game is no indication of what minifigs will be released in the future, or what they will look like if they are. Remember, the Ki-Adi Mundi minifig was released before LSW3, and it still looked different in the game. And while we're posting screenshots, there are a bunch of them on brickipedia, including this one:
  15. Sorry for reviving this thread, but the index isn't working for me. Whatever I do, I just get an empty blue page with the EB banner. Another result of the recent server issues?
  16. Hehe, nice ones, guys! Why don't you deeplink it for everyone to see? More from me. The first one was inspired by a comment in the Harry Potter discussion thread saying that Harry's hair is inaccurate and looks like a fro. 17. Do you have Windows 7? If so, you can have it cycle between the two. 1. Are you saying that I should put it spoiler tags? 2. Are you saying that you still haven't seen the Avengers?
  18. Couldn't wait for the ROTS community build, eh? That's one hot looking diorama you got there! I really like the mosaic lava, a common technique which is not always applied as skillfully as here! The main building looks also nice, and I like how you made the Mustafarians. However, the big arm structure could be more accurate, and I think the scene would work much better with non-CW figs, especially the ones in the Jedi Interceptor set which were made for this scene, but those are just some minor complaints. Great work. I have blogged this, so hopefully it will get some more attention.
  19. Not bad! Here's some more from me, featuring everyone's favorite patriot! Captain America by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Cap Attack by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And here's another great scene from The Avengers! I'm not gonna put this one in spoiler tags since you can see this scene in the trailers. Putting the Hammer Down by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  20. Thanks, guys. As you can see, the order in which I posted those pictures was not coincidental. I'm glad you noticed. And yes, the white on Tony's face is quite misprinted, sadly. Perhaps I should send that pic to TLG.
  21. How do you know? I for one, even as a kid, would have preferred this detailed, more accurate bike over the bulky stickered one that we got any day.
  22. I figured you would like those pictures, Iron-Man.
  23. To answer your question, no, there's nothing that says that it wont be released in sets, but it's highly unlikely. However, I could imagine them to release a version of the big Hulk with purple pants at some point, like the prototype we saw at Toy Fair, which would probably be the perfect representation of the character.
  24. Oops, sorry, I thought I added that already. Fixed.
  25. Great stuff everyone! Keep 'em coming! Here are some Iron Man shots from me. The first is a recreation of this movie poster. Lego Iron Man Poster by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Tony with HUD by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Arc Reactor by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
