Ninja Castle Subtheme return potential
LegoAUT replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
With zero historical accuracy, yes. -
The tree looks amazingly beautiful!
-
I fully agree!
-
It‘s nice that they have chosen the pirate theme for once, that‘s about it. As a playground it‘s fun and all, but for pirate fans it does not offer any useful/ new parts most of us don‘t already own en mass.
-
Yes well, I was obviously speaking of real leaked information, not fabricated stuff.
-
Per definition every leaker publishes information that TLG does not want to be published at that time, so all leaked information is „stolen“ either directly or indirectly.
-
I have somehow missed this one. It‘s a great model, I like it a lot! The colours and the plants/ foliage are amazing.
-
This would not make any sense at this point. There are rumors of new Pirates of the Caribbean movies but they will likely not launch before 2024.
-
Ah that could be, not sure. However, this does not mean necessarily it has to be/ was translated from French. I hope we find out soon!
-
Agreed, this seems to be standard procedure. Almost all sets are significantly cheaper from third party sellers than what TLG charges on their website.
-
Where does that info stem from?
-
Vault can mean several things, not necessarily a re-release of an existing set that was available fairly recently. I think it looks more like the re-release of a classic or the release of a set that never made it to the shelves but where plans are in the drawer.

I agree, however, TLG does not seem to care sadly.. -
Lego Icons 10332 Medieval Town Square Discussion Thread

I disagree. More bricks I can get easily (if I don‘t have them in my collection anyways), new medieval (civilian) minifigs on the other hand, not so much. The more the merrier (if they are actually new/ rare)! -
I could not care less about religion/religious feelings in connection with Lego..
-
Indeed, although no match for its medieval paragons, in my opinion :)
-
Nice! The layout also reminded me a of the Votivkirche :)
-
Very impressive!
-
Agreed.
-
Same in Austria.
-
Stop claiming that with no evidence whatsoever. Even Promobricks says the second wave will release in summer.

I think the reason the GE did not sell too well is that Classic Space is a relatively old theme that seems very.. „classic“. I am now 31 and love Castle, Pirates, Western etc. But Classic Space never appealed to me, even though I inherited vintage CS sets from my older cousin as a child, I always found them boring and old fashioned. This is why I had zero interest in buying the GE even though I must admit it looks rather cool. To put it differently, I think the buying group of Castle & Pirates is much bigger than the one of Space. Also, PoBB did sell very well in Austria, it was constantly sold out and I am happy to at least have purchased one set.

Wow this looks very impressive, great techniques and super realistic, chapeau! I would love to see more pictures of your progress! I am also a fan of thicker walls for castles, one stud deep is just super unrealistic. Of course, having realistic depth is nearly impossible if you don‘t want to completely blow up your budget, but two studs is the very bare minimum in my opinion. Thank you for sharing! :)

This set will be on shelfes till 2025, so even if it sells out quickly at the beginning, there is no need to be nervous/ rush and whoever pays scalpers more than what Lego prices the set is just tremendously stupid.. same for the Delorean btw, there even where times were you got that set with considerable discounts.
