Forest people in the sense of the classic castle forestmen? In this case, certainly! They are clearly one of the most desired castle factions people want to return big time, but at least we got a nice GWP with the castle plus they reappear there as well.. hoping for more in the future (although that hope may be futile haha).

Go ahead. I don‘t see why we have to argue about who confirmed what/ when. I think it should be clear to everyone that still this all is nothing but speculation and nothing is confirmed. People are just excited, it‘s normal :)

Yes. However, repeating the details so close to the alleged release date is hopefully (!) a good sign given the reliability of that leaker.

Not that I am aware of (for Austria at least). I have researched though, just did not find any cashback option for Lego purchases.

That‘s basically standard VIP on Lego (Lego „cashback“ vs Amazon cashback, I admit). I read in Promobricks that in Germany (and probably many other EU countries) Amazon is the exclusive retailer for this set and that there most likely won’t be any relevant discounts for the time being which is also in line with AMZ‘s policy re other exclusive sets.

That is the question, hope we find out soon. I think the theory that 1 January 2024 is the release date for third party sellers and before that date it‘s sold by Lego exclusively would make sense, but let‘s see. If this is good and we can pre-order as of 15 June I would also be okay with it.

Promobricks is a good source in my opinion, they recently reported the current 2x VIP and various GWPs to come. I am not an expert but I can‘t remember a really great GWP + 2x VIP. However, the summer polybag is really not worth considering as a GWP for Rivendell since you get this with every order above 50€ anyway. But the other GWPs currently confirmed are not great either. Still, there is no urgency as Rivendell will be around for a while and another double VIP event will surely come. I am just a bit mindful about any possible price increases 2024, although I believe that 500€ is already a pain point for most of us.

Now the question is whether to wait for the next 2x VIP + better GWP or to get it in June. I am not sure whether we will get a good GWP + 2x VIP anytime soon..

Also, releasing a set lile this on January 1st (so just after Christmas) would make little sense, at least to me. If you release it that late in the year, you should do it in time for Christmas shopping..

I believe there was/ is also a website that has free stencils of all original Lego sails which you can print and subsequently use on your own fabric. I have lost that link unfortunately. Does anyone here potentially know what I am referring to and could share the link?
