    I have to agree with above, the movies are “old” now, and the nee show isn’t really marketed towards kids. My money says this is an Icons type release and not a full blown theme.

    My money is that whatever they (maybe) give us as a D2C will be something that ties into the movies and TV show. I haven't watched the show yet (no spoilers please!) but AFAIK Rivendell, Orthanc or Barad-Dur are the only three locations that exist in both ages? Maybe Rivendell hasn't been built yet, I can't remember. I just hope whatever it is, it has good carryover for classic castle builds as far as swords, torsos/legs, helmets etc go. Orcs and elves and all that never really had a place in my MOC's. I think the best chance for that would be something Gondor or Numenorian.

    How's standard order shipping for other guys? Looks like two of my standard orders from Aug 23/24 finally shipped this morning. No tracking number but the VIP points got added. They're really testing that 28 day estimate lol.

    How did I miss that??? Sorting by newest is apparently super unreliable! Kind of a bummer its only dark brown too. I find they don't contrast enough with the brown/orange horses so prefer grey ETA: Dark orange horses also added

    Bunch of new parts got added overnight. Nothing all that interesting for castle minifigs/animals, looks like the globe set got added among other stuff.

    Seeing as the Black Falcon pieces can't seem to stay in stock for more than a few hours (legs are OOS already), and that Lego is supposed to be adding a lot of new pieces over the next while, I thought it'd be helpful to have a single PAB thread for castle/historic related pieces rather than having them get buried in random comments in the castle thread. Maybe I'm the only one who posts and this dies out, but oh well not all my ideas are good. Reddish brown horses have been back in stock for a bit now and quite a bit cheaper than Bricklink prices (10509). Greatswords also...I think they were out of stock for a long time (6295400/66964). Mostly waiting for the flat silver and gold pointed visors, the outside bowed 1x4 and corner pieces from the castle, and maybe an elephant body

    On the topic of PAB, is there a thread on here somewhere updating on newly added pieces etc? I saw one mentioned once but was never able to find it.

    I’ve basically accepted that I’ll just bricklink the gold visor if I want it. The torso/shield/plume just do nothing for me at all.

    I'm pretty sure its just plain ol' too expensive. Seems like all of the Lego stuff has stepped back a bit, the Sanctum has only less than 50 on Bricklink as well. I sold my blue Falcon's horse barding on Bricklink for $40. Not bad for a single piece of plastic.

    I’m not convinced Bricklink has it right, I have flat silver spears and flat silver lightsaber hilts and they’re completely different - the hilt is distinctly metallic. Maybe its a Bricklink seller issue but I’ve acquired all of these from multiple orders each so I find that unlikely. (picture is a flat silver rigid hose, same issue though)

    I like that a lot, except his flags are all over the place lol Need double VIP so I can get another set or two to expand with! I think they usually have one in October I think? Edit: Or maybe someone has an assembled 10305 Stud.io file they'd share? I know they're out there...

    Not sure if anyone saw this but Beyond the Brick did a really cool Forestman MOC with the Treehouse set.     The things to watch now are CMF 24 (January 2023) and then the Viking village I guess, and as always see what Ideas does but I doubt we'll get much castle love there given the Blacksmith is still on shelves.

    Lots of youtube videos how to do it (I recommend this one), I highly recommend - as mentioned they make baseplates basically rock solid, and if you want to set up a full display Lego City style they help you get nice snug connections between segments.
