    Please give something like an updated Guarded Inn. Easy to rebuild into other buildings, good curtain wall that can be used in a number of ways, a couple of civilians and a couple of knights. I haven't yet come across a real one in all my hauls, but I've made one that's close enough and the coloring fits with some of my other vintage stuff. It's such an excellent set that they already re-released it, so I say give it the update treatment again like the Hideout got! If it came with one falcon and one lion knight and two civilians, that would be just about perfect in my opinion.

    Ooh I didn't notice that somehow. I still wish they'd consolidate by part, since it's so cluttered up otherwise. They also need more sort options. Edit: you know what it was? I wasn't clicking on the brick to expand, I was just clicking the Pick button. It's not clear that clicking on it will bring up more options.

    My beef is that they don't keep all the colors under a single entry of the same part. It'd be so so so much better if I could click on a helmet and see what colors they have in stock than it is to browse forever trying to find them all. Lego is very very mediocre at all things IT and it's frankly a little embarrassing. They need to hire some good UI/UX people and let them do their jobs.

    I'd settle for a CMF line of 12 that is the 3 "other" original factions, being Castle, Pirates, and Space. I love that we got the "wolfpack" rogue and "blacktron" bounty hunter and pirate woman and "forestmen" bard in earlier lines; there are probably a few others that fit in but I don't remember them. More throwbacks to the subthemes would be nice like Futuron (though we got a similar space police CMF), M-tron, blue or redcoat imperials, and of course castle themes of any sort.

    I was always annoyed that Knight's Stronghold didn't fit in front of Black Monarch's Castle since they use plates and baseplates, respectively. I may have to modify the stronghold and set it on a baseplate so that they connect; it would also remove the drawbridge but add in some defensive areas.

    Would definitely buy a lot of these. Watch Lego do this but make it a GWP like the Pirate pack they have now. Something between the Forest Hideout and Pirate pack threshold. :| I am one of the aforementioned holders on 10305. It is pricey, and while I am SUPER excited to get it, I've had some life expenses recently that I want to recover from. Also, given that I have some time what with it not selling out, I'll wait for 2xVIP or a good GWP. It's 100% going to be the flagship of my castle display. Sorry, King's Mountain Fortress, but there is a new set of Lion Knights in town! I'm not how I'll be able to work my regular wall "medieval town" sets into 10305, given the size. It's just massive compared to the castles of old.

    I'm holding off on my first (and likely only) copy for 2xVIP or a really good GWP. $400 is a lot, even for a flagship build. I have no place to put it at this time, but that's a problem for future me.

    Lotta that but the occasional good find can be had. I just got a lot of parts (no figs, sadly, but it was fairly cheap) that includes some SP1, SP2, Ice Planet, Town from 85-95, and it's been a blast rebuilding. Really excited for the two big Ice Planet sets, though I have parts to the ship already I am certain some will be missing, so I should be able to get one good complete ship plus parts to make it better. To be honest, this castle feels like enough for me, especially at that price. It's just so spendy but has so many good little details. My wallet could use a break.

    Oh wow, I might have to go non-Lego for that Guarded Inn flag. I bet shipping to the USA won't be cheap though.

    What I really want are the original Black Falcons and Lion Knights flags, and then I can have a proper Black Falcon leader with the black horse, black saddle, Falcons flag, black helmet, black feather, and black sword!

    I lucked out getting much of them in hauls, though I am still missing the original Armor Shop flag and the blacksmith's unique brown cape/apron. I have plans to make a stable as well, but my current display doesn't have space so it'll have to wait. I have some parts from BFF but I'm missing quite a lot, so I've basically repurposed what I have into castle MOCs. I am quite excited for this to be the mainstay of the future castle display! No idea where I'll put King's Mountain or Black Monarch's castles, but I am certain I will find something!

    Ah gotcha, I dig it. I have a MOC'd version of Guarded Inn attached to Armor Shop and Blacksmith, which I am hoping I can find a way to attach to the eventual Lion Knights Castle. I love the idea of a little town around the outside of the main castle walls, with a lower wall around the town. Those grey panels with windows make for wonderful low walls.

    WhiteFang, what is happening in Black Falcons Fortress with the Guarded Inn? There's a lot more detail than BFF had, and I want to know what it is!

    Honestly, I'd be fine if it was a great set every couple of years, because man with the price increases is it getting harder to justify. Maybe not $400 every time, but something like the blacksmith would be excellent.

    swordscomic is leaking. Also, I may have to find one of those small gold pieces to use under a gem for the wizard. I settled on a black lightsaber hilt because all of my antennas are the old rounded style. I didn't realize I couldn't attach the gem directly to it.

    Totally agreed. I suspect after a few months they will remove restrictions since the demand drops. I'm betting they learned a lot from the BL Designer Program fiasco in round one.

    Do you need a VIP account for a GWP in-store? If not, then you can forgo the VIP points and buy what you want. They may limit you to 1 per purchase, but that's just on the employee in the store.

    I for one am all in favor of limits like this. Keep them in place for 3 months or something. Scalpers are such a pain in the megablocks and do not help any fans of Lego in any way. I'm glad they fixed the BL designer program after that awful first round, and given how supply chain issues have been going, keeping it in place for online is especially worth it.

    We currently have the bouquet on the table, the Fiat, Typewriter, Pop-up Book, and Ship in a Bottle on a piece of furniture in the dining room, and a couple of personal Architecture sets around. Other than that, it's all on our personal shelves in various less-public rooms. I will have to wait for a bigger house in order to have a proper Lego room. I have a number of modulars waiting, as well as a lot of vintage town stuff that will be going around them. Plus I want a place where I can have all my sorting drawers and such in a fairly accessible place. So a basement Lego room it will be!

    We have the bouquet out permanently, and the roses, plus the succulents are coming soon (a gift). My partner has a bad habit of killing all of their orchids, so this seemed like a really good opportunity. I might pick up the noodle shop and a speed champion to see if I can get another pack. I thought the SC singles were going to $25, but they are still $20 for me. Only the Mercedes and Aston packs have gone up, $5 each.
