I hope we get an iron patriot figure, now that we know thta it plays an important role in the movie. the had the sets removed because of major movie spoilers, i mean pepper in the suit, extremis soldier, aldrich being the mallen. i dont think there's a secret set for the summer.

They probably didn't know. I've seen some toys that have him like the Lego version.

I agree, that's what i thought the mandarin would look like, but i kinda like how he look, a mix between the movie and the comics.

Yeah but Dwalin's beard is a wrap around . Mandarin's torso barely matches the film version, which make me think that Lego was given concept art and early pics. back when the Manadrin was supposed to be more Asian looking and not what Ben decided he should look like. And possibly he had a longer beard and different hair.

I think they're bland because the film's coloring, look at the trailers, they are bleak as hell. But the sets do look nice from a certain standpoint.

I think that Eric Savin will be the Mallen of the MCU. James Badge Dale said that his version will be loosely based on the comics. So instead of being in blown up and turned into a cyborg, he will probably be injected with the Extremis virus. Some of the facial features seem to match Dale's.

I really hope we get an Iron Patriot. I know what i'll be using my VIP points and March free shipping for, 10937 and the IM3 sets. Anyone else think that the Extremis Soldier is really Eric Savin?

Well Marvel said it, so i trust them. that could be the release date for italy, but for here in the U.S. it March 7th. I think it's because the Lone Ranger and MoS sets are coming out then and Marvel didn't want copmpetioin Tony and the Extremis have dark brown hair, wasn't expecting that. But it's accurate for Tony and the Soldier is very obvious that it's based on James badge Dale's Eric savin. Blow up functions for the armors, nice! I can see that too, but i don't know why the chose that beard piece, but i suppose they didn't want to make a new mould, like the hair.

Marvel announced yesterday that the sets will be released on March 7th. So it's not that early, but it is that early for the sets to come out. But i supposed with lego Lone Ranger and MoS sets Marevl probably wanted the sets out early to build hype and avoid competition.

War Machine is normally black and grey. I guess the made him dark grey and grey because is some promo images for the IM3 suit it looks that way when it is grey and black.

Don't know if this is news or if it's been posted but: Iron Man 3 sets will be release in the U.S. on March 7th. http://marvel.com/ne...uces_iron_man_3 I must admit that is very early, as the movie doesn't premire here until May 3rd. But it does explain why people in Chicago have gotten the sets.

Yeah is just a recolored and redesigned of the Mark VII. I also know who made it and they made it back when everyone thought that Iron Patriot was a villian and Eric Savin would wear it and not War Machine's new armour. I really hope there's a May promo featuring Iron Patriot.

Yeah but the Lego Iron Patriot will have all the War Machine prints, but only if we get him.

Oh Jor-El, i might want him, but i hope for an Iron Patriot one. For the preorder fig i would like the Mark V suit(since we have the suitcase form) or Stan Lee.

They first drew it without Jackson's permission. Then he saw it and gave them permission. And marvel decided to let him play Fury.

Nick Fury is based on his appearance in Utilmate Spider-Man, so he doesn't count. I don't know if we could count James Badge Dale because we don't know if the Extremis Soldier is supposed to be Eric Savin( though I highly believe it is supposed to be, it has some of his facial features). But if it is he would have two figures: Eric Savin and Dan Reid from The Lone Ranger.

I think there will be a promo figure. I think that polybag seems like a store exclusive, lik eTRU. If they make Iron Patriot a comic Con exclusive, i will be very mad and hunt it down with avengence.
