We usually see all the summer sets, minus store exclusives. Plus aren't the sets coming out in April anyway. We'll see them at NY this Sunday, Disney needs all the promotion for this film they can get. Plus NY is the last chance for companies to show consumers what they have so they can form an idea on what to buy.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

I expect that too, wonder which version of Fury they will use, Ultimate Spidey or MCU? For the characters that have appeared or will appar in the MCU, they'll be based on that. other figs like X-Men and FF will be based on the comics. I beleive one game designer said that there will be at least 100 characters in the game (18 heroes and 18 villians in story mode alone) and they tried to pick the well known and fan favorites along with some unexpected curveball characters. -

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

He will most likely be based on the Ultimate Spider-Man tv appearance, like the rest of the Spidey figures, and any other Spidey characters that appear in the game will probably based on their Ultimate Spidey appearance( if they appear in the game). -

True, we've only gotten one member of the X-Men, Wolverine, and we need more: Xavier, Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Rouge, Iceman, Nightcrawler( to name some fan favorites) plus the brotherhood. I hate to see this theme end like Batman, but maybe Lego learned from their mistake. And with the marvel game confirmed to have Galactus, Mr. Fantastic, Green Goblin, The Thing, and Sandman in it mean i hope we get figs of them eventually. With the fantastic four since Mr. Fantastic and Thing are included, i expect to see Human Torch, Invisible Woman, and Silver Surfer(since Galactus is in the game) -

I assume it's doing fairly well, i bet they'll renew it. Marvel has alot of movies coming out in the next few years, so they'd want sets to promote those, and other properties. DC has the JL movie in 2015 ( if Man of Steel makes enough money) so they'd want sets to promote that and other films, and the comics. I hope it continues and they renew the contract, they have barely sratched the surface of both comic properties. Since the JL movie team rumored to include: Bats, Supes(MoS version), Green Lantern (horrible GL movie version), Wonder Woman, and The Flash( with possible appearances of Aquaman, Hawkman or Manhunter), i would like comic versions of Lantern and Flash before then. The Chima figs offer pieces for figs, gorrila head for Gorrila Grodd, the rhino head for the Rhino, the bird wings for Angel, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl, and the croc head for Killer Croc. For the Lizard i would think a similar design to the CMF Lizard Man suit guy. -

We got a hint last year about the Hobbit sets via a sign last year, even though it didn't come out til December. And the only figs we don't are the Iron Man suit in the Extremis set and the green guy is the Malibu set. I reckon we'll get a hint to some Thor 2 sets. -
yes, as a San Deigo Comic Con exclusive. And unless they appear in a Ultimate Spider-Man episode, Lego's not going to make them. Flash and a comic Green Lantern are high on my list before we get potential movie versions.( like DC wouldn't want Lego to make sets based on the 2015 JL movie) Marvel minifigures i want: Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Ghost Rider and Daredevil. Maybe Agent Phil Coulson, please!!!! and for Ultimate Spider-Man: Power Man, White Tiger, Electro, The Lizard, Sandman, Kraven the Hunter, and Rhino.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

The green guy is supposed to be a male baddie. There's three main villians: The Mandarin, Aldrich Killian, and Eric Savin. We have figures confirmed for the first two, all we need is one for Savin. My guess is that's who the green guy is. The summer sets are reallly cheap:2 $13, 2 $20 , 2 $40 sets. Cheap enough for a college kid not to go broke. We may get a confirmation at New York next week, and i bet we are going to get Thor: The Dark World sets. Marvel needs promotional toys for kids to play with, and they're probably going to want Lego to make sets based on it. I hoping for a fig of Hopkin's Odin and Portman's Jane Foster :) -
Movie, Episode 2 to be exact.

K, i'll stop complaining. I would like a large set, like a large Helicarrier, Oscorp(of course based on Ultimate Spierman), or Stark Tower. -
Yes they do look great! Wonder why the crocs done get them. Also where do they the attach?

Ooooooh... I see it now, you're right. I always thought it was just plain tan, cuz of the lighting, but it's light gold like you said. -

Well they didn't think of the metallic sheen when the designed the film version of the Extremis comic suit(which is what the mark XLII is based on). I guess the designer didn't think of that, or didn't like that the newest suit is tan with little bits of red in it. The suit has a shiney tan to it , so they could have done that with the XLII. However the suit is still partly accurate and looks cool. -

When the gold on the suit is supposed to be tan, yeah its inaccurate. But the designer most likely only had concept arr to work off of, and the tan on that probably looked like gold. The green figure is from Malibu Mansion set, and people are wondering who it is. Most people think it's supposed Eric Savin/ Coldblood, while other think it's Radioactive Man(based on a dumb rumor about an earlier rumor about an asian guy playing Chen Lu, when it's been confirmed he's paying Dr. Wu.) just because he's green. -

Except when the gold is supposed to be tan......... nevermind, this is a Lego set based on a upcoming movie, there's bound to be mistakes. I think this version has a different face because in the same set we are getting a Tony Stark minifig and they wanted the two to have diffent face types. I reckon the old face will be used on Tony. -

Careful, the crazies might see that set name and think its real. I would like a set based on Wayne Manor, maybe thats why we haven't gotten an Alfred minifigure yet. -

I think that with three villian: The Mandarin, Aldrich Killian, and Eric Savin. I don't think Radioactive Man or Firepower are villians. As we have figures of Mandarin and Aldrich, so we need Eric. Therefore, i believe the green guy is some redesigned version of Eric Savin/Coldblood. And yes the NYTF starts on Feb 10th -
