Your Barracuda and your Pearl are both very lovely ships. You should be very proud of the work you’ve done. Do you think it would be difficult to mount firing cannons in this ship? Also as others have said I would love to see you tackle the Clipper next and maybe even the Queen Anne’s Revenge.

Beautiful.

There’s actually some really cool minifigs in both the police and fire sets. I really like the variant Duke Detain, the CSI and the fire woman without the full uniform in the tank top. Edit: also is that lattice a new bit or is it some of the old fences turned on their side? Edit 2: there’s actually some really useful looking stickers or printed pieces in some of these sets. Hopefully they’re printed pieces and find their way to PAB online.

Great stuff. Kudos.

The monster truck is pretty dang cool. Undecided on the fire stuff and I can say I’m really not a fan of the police stuff.

That burger truck is beautiful. Absolutely love it. Roller looks pretty cool too.

Any pics of the Burger Truck?

There’s scene in the movie Hook with a pirate settlement in it. It’s a bustling little metropolis with all sorts of businesses in it like whore houses and taverns, lots of manual work like blacksmithing taking place and several ships on the docks. This is what I think of when I think of pirates. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twzaorplSzE&t=23s

(MOC) Modular street and furniture, because your town deserves so!

Some beautiful stuff here man. I love all the street Furniature and the seemingly random pattern of the pavement of the sidewalk. -
Where’s that torso from.

Yeah I have made quite a few purchases from Bricklink so far, the most recent sizeable order being to complete a MOC by the Rebrickable designer, HaulingBricks, who creates instructions for LEGO minifig scale trucks for LEGO City. I’m currently working on building a LEGO city as well as LEGOPirates and Castle stuff, but I am also tempted to build some Ninjago City sets and MOCs (despite not liking the main Ninjago line, I love to Ninjago City stuff and think it’s really cool) and also Neo-Classic Space. Having said that I may be spreading myself too thin so very well may not end up pulling the pin and starting Ninjag City and Space. My goal is to construct a largish table of about five 32 x 32 baseplates by seven or eight 32 x 32 baseplates and alternate what I have on display throughout the year, though I’ve only really returned to LEGO after my dark ages a couple of years ago. I also collect and paint Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar models, although I don’t really get to play either game very often.

Sure, I’ll start a thread in this section of the forum posting what I’ve done. It’ll be the first time I show off any of my work on the forum, or anywhere else for that matte, not that I’ve really done much of my own stuff yet, mainly having put together official sets and other people’s MOCs from Rebrickable. To start with it’ll only be digital as I can’t afford to buy too many bricks I don’t know that I’ll definitely end up using. I have collected some random bricks from the PAB wall plus the Xtras packs, VIP add on packs and a couple of those packs that LEGO sell directed at kids with random coloured bricks like the Neon and Pastel Classic brick sets, which will provide me with parts for freestyle MOCs. However, something as large as a ship I am going to have to build digitally first. You’re a fellow Aussie, which state are you from? I live in Perth.

Looking good mate. Seeing this makes me want to get back on Mecabricks and noodle around with my Clipper MOC as soon as I can.

Ah fair enough. It’s a fantastic build nonetheless and you should be very proud. Kudos. -
[MOC] Blacktron Trident - NoVVember build

Haven’t really been a Classic Space, even as a kid, proffering Pirates and Castle. But damn this build is almost enough to make a convert out of me. Do you plan on making plans available on Rebrickable, because this build might be what tips me over the edge towards starting to collect another theme. -
Beautiful, I love how this turning out. Keep up the great work.
-
Great stuff man. I love what you've achieved so far.

I'm playing around on Mecabricks at the moment and this is quite similar to one of the colour schemes I'm considering for my Sea Hawk/Caribbean Clipper MOC based on the PoBB version of the Black Seas Barracuda.
-
Oh I agree entirely. The super structure of the POBB ship is definitely the perfect basis for ship MOCs, to which modifications can be made to it your own ship. I’ve got the inclination to design my own iteration of the Carribean Clipper, or “Sea Hawk” as it was known with the Australian release, based on the POBB hull superstructure.
-
I love how you’ve fit the galley from the Imperial Flagship in the stern of the POBB ship.

This looks promising, can’t wait to see more.

This sucks. Shame on the hackers as the people they’re hurting right now are Mom and Pop store that sold through Bricklink and hobbyists who not only purchased through the website, but if anything like me, also used tithe website for research. Who ever the hackers are they’re financially motivated, rather than politically driven, because as I’ve already stated the people who are being hurt the most out of this are little guys.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Pirate_King_1982 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I wanted to buy some of these. Are they plans that you buy like on Rebrickable? Originally I though the were kits that provided all the parts, but buying the plans is far more appealing as it means you can pick up parts over time meaning less up front and also make part substitutes as you see fit. Do they ever plan on making these available to Australians? What regions actually are allowed to buy these?
