Jurassic World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
CodFather1 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Since when was it not my preference to have molded dinosaurs. It's only with Ninjago that I have the preference of brick-built creatures. I am also skipping the T-rex breakout, just like I did with the giant Gate. Also, Lego is not unpredictable. They are a company and will go where the money goes. It's just that we as consumers do not always have access to were the money is. -
Jurassic World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
CodFather1 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Unfortunately, I think that the only way lego would ever make a Brachiosaurus would be if it was brick-built in an 18+ set like what we got earlier for the T-rex earlier in April. Also, I don't think that lego would ever design a child version of a species they never planned to make a full sized mold of. it just doesn't seem like something they would do. We only got a baby ankylosaurus at the same time as the adult version, and the Triceratops took years. The adult versions clearly take precedent, and as much as I would love a Brachiosaurus or a Mosasaurus, I just don't see them being produced. -

Ah yes, I just read Stonewar's article on the subject, and the trademark was resolved by February 2021, which would have theoretically been enough time to design the set. -

Didn't they also have problems with copyright with the Razor Crest name in several countries? I wonder how that would impact the set name, because I would assume that they would try to give in the name of the actual ship in the case of a UCS, instead of the generic "The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport". -

I'll take a lack of knees any day, so long as the transformation is smooth and has no parts forming. -
2022 Friends Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

I just don't understand why they have decided to change the design after years and years of consistency. And even if it did make sense, why did they change it in the middle of the year, instead of earlier in January?- 136 replies

Lloyd's Golden Dragon is $230AUD dollars, the temple is $130AUD and the Crystal King is $100AUD. Those prices in particular are horrendous, but the rest are fairly reasonable... for Lego in Australia.

Chamile is unlikely, given the focus on vengestone would render her power useless. I agree that Nya should not be brought back to the same extent, but at the end of the day, this is a toyline, and they are going to milk the characters for all they are worth, especially after they get their own season. I think that if they bring har back, either Nya's mind should be restored to normal, and have her able to assume human form but still be made of water, or take away her elemental powers entirely, which would be a good reason why she would be samurai X again.
-
I think Pixel will definitely pilot it at first, but Nya will take over at some point. Also, they just made a Pixel minifig in the Core Ninja Dojo set. It wouldn't really cost them to include that version in this new mech as well as the 'fake' Nya. Just replace Jay or the Vengestone warrior.
-
I disagree. Nya will not be a red herring, because if that was the case they would be releasing a $120 dollar single pilot mech without the true pilot. Tommy is clearly lying in an attempt to trick the fanbase into disregarding Promobrick's viability for leaks. I don't know why anybody is falling for this.

The Description of Cole's Dragon Cruiser on Lego kids says that the ninja need to "stop the ninja’s enemies turning everyone in NINJAGO® City into zombies!" So maybe Harumi is going to be revived from the dead?

I would go for it, after all, look at the value now of Cloud City, which is inferior to the Cantina in every way, but is now worth around 470USD. -

Very interesting to me that most of the new Star Wars set names are up on Brickset. It's all information we already know, but could it signify a reveal soon? -

Its release date is the first of May. Waiting this long is to be expected. -
Maybe this wave will be entirely for the first movie, and then there will be a later wave, maybe in January, for Way of Water.

I think it is far more likely to have a molded Varactyl in the the set, as it would explain the awful Price per Piece ratio, though given the expectations versus the reality of Boba's palace earlier this year, I doubt Lego would be that kind. -
