  1. Do you mean the Guardians Nickel Post?
  2. So, you created an account on this website to tell us all that if Lego doesn't do what you want, you're going to leave this hobby and by extension this site. Why even bother creating this account? Surely you could have just posted on some other social media? Like I get that this situation isn't great and should be rectified but a rage post should not be your first interaction with a new community.
  3. Why do you keep on acting like you know this for a fact, there are still 3 sets we know nothing about, and their is definitely the potential for a store exclusive set we just haven't heard anything about.
  4. I think the answer for me is that they don't work nearly as well as other projectiles. Also, there is a huge difference in suspension of disbelief when one is a transparent little blur when fired off that is the same colour as the intended blast, while the other is a giant grey thing that works very inconsistently at best compared to stud shooter, and usually takes part of the guns they are meant to be firing from with them. I just think that they are usually used in situations that don't really make sense for them, like sure, sometimes there used for proper missiles, but those examples are few and far between. I do think they work better for Medieval themes and Minecraft though.
  5. Because every MCU movie since Winter Soldier has gotten at least one minifgure set, as well as the fact that the villains of this film are heavily desired. it would be like if Doctor Doom was the antagonist of the Fantastic Four movie, but they only made a Thing BB Figure. It just sets a dangerous precedent for future MCU films, as that guarantee of at least one mini figure set no longer exists.
  6. Dude, as insane is it is, that apparently isn't even what was happening in the scene. Instead, he was going so fast that he reached the speed of light, and was able to time travel using that, and the weird rotation of the earth is just happening from superman's perspective. Or at least, that's what happened according to the director. No defending it or anything, It's still a blatant plot contrivance, and is almost incoherent as a scene, but I suppose that's what you get by trying to be one of the first superhero movies ever. It's not like there was much or a precedent for what would be seen as believable or tolerable to average audiences.
  7. That's what I meant. They only started showing up again this year being used for their original purpose(with the exception of Minecraft arrows and 4+ sets), and maybe Promobricks has yet to notice (however unlikely that may be.) In any case, I meant this more as a joke, although I do hate their existence as one of the ugliest projectiles lego has ever produced.
  8. Still, you would think with this film being created under the premise that it was going to be completely different from the other Ant-man movies, and was going to be people's first real exposure to the new big bad, that would be taken into account when deciding what to make. I would also like to mention that there are still at least 3 full sized sets(76224, 76252, 76266) that we have no info on in terms of subject matter, although I do think 76266 will end up being a DC set due to it's placement. In all, if we get another Quantumania set this year that's amazing, but otherwise we may have another No Way Home on our hands.
  9. Yeah, Given the small piece counts on the lower priced sets, which seem too large to consistently be CCBS, while also being priced to low for that (standard CCBS sets were around $25USD when they finished). I thinks it's reasonable to assume it's either the planets, a new wave of those "Action Battle Sets" from 2019, or a substantial number of the sets being 4+. That being said, it could also refer to the reintroduction of the dreaded Flick Fire Missiles for all we know.
  10. What ominous hint is this? Sorry, haven't really been keeping up with the Star Wars leaks at the moment.
  11. Snowspeeder Hangar - 571ps - US$59.99 General Grievous Chase - 532ps - US$74.99 UCS Tantive IV - 6244ps - US$699.99 I checked the replies. Nobody believes him, although I'll give him this; he has the art of unreasonably priced Grievous sets down pact.
  12. Huh. This is the first time I’ve been happy about being wrong about a leak. If this is indeed a prototype, this will be the first ever time I will buy a set with over 2000 pieces. On sale.
  13. According to JJP they are indeed releasing in September.
  14. JeanGreyForever apparently got access to a survey or something that showed a bunch of expensive sets on it from Disney, Harry Potter, DC and the like. They saw one for Marvel that was apparently the X-mansion. People are rightfully skeptical, but a Malificent dragon diorama marked with lego's standard confidential marking just leaked in the usual place, and that was one of the sets they apparently saw. If you look at their recent history you can see what they have allegedly leaked. While it is advisable to be cautious with this information, I genuinely do believe this information may be true.
  15. Genuinely don't know why the mods (allegedly) allowed this to happen. These rumours have been up for 10 hours now as well, so it's clear they're not going down any time soon. Nobody else has confirmed, denied or even acknowledged this, so we are pretty much in limbo unless someone reputable speaks up.
  16. More like Late April/Early May. while in 2019 they were revealed in February, that was only because of a Toy Fair, so unless Toy Fairs become a big thing again, it is unlikely we will see them that early.
  17. All we know is that they are coming out in summer, but we can speculate that since this year there is no Jurassic content, like in 2019 and 2020, they will probably release in June or July, but JW has always been inconsistent with their releases. EDIT: JJP confirmed the new wave is releasing in June.
  18. I found this on Myer's website. I assume it's an early version of 31133: White Rabbit's box. https://www.myer.com.au/p/lego-creator-3in1-white-rabbit
  19. We still have more than a month until Prime was leaked last year, and we still know nothing about sets 10318 to 10323, so that's 6 sets that it could be. I would say we should wait until March to worry about no new Lego Transformers this year.
  20. If the majority of that piece count goes to the sub, wouldn't that make it the largest City submarine of all time?
  21. What about Skeleton Crew is even remotely related to nostalgia or the Clone Wars show?
  22. What's also weird about the low piece count of the visitors centre is the 12+ rating with such a low piece count. Usually they reserve that for sets with mostly small pieces, like the new Christmas Tree. The fact they are doing it for a set with such a low piece count that simultaneously has to cover so much ground is perplexing to me.
  23. I think everyone would prefer it that way, if only for the sake of consistency with the rest of the theme, but that uncharacteristically good Price to Part Ratio seems to seal the deal on that front. I think that we can expect the same for the inevitable Mosasaurus, but at least there happening, which was in severe doubt beforehand.
  24. What's interesting to me is the relatively high piece counts of 76959, which seems to pretty much confirm that the brachiosaurus is at least partially brickbuild. The dilophosaurus ambush seems to present amazing value for something containing a relatively large animal, and the search for the Triceratops is about what is to be expected for a trike set. The piece count on the visitor's centre is extremely disappointing though, I would have liked for it to have had at least 200 pieces more, so we could have a decent interior.
  25. Don't know if this has been reported yet but according the someone who got the Bomber early on MandR's latest video showed that Vader does in fact have arm printing. the promotional images are apparently just incorrect, so that's good.
