  1. There's a new one, it's on the last page of the Licenced Ideas thread.
  2. Lego is very much focused on the 'Princess' aspect of Disney, and not much else. The only reason I thing we got set associated with the Tangled tv show is because it already had that connection to a princess, and even then they weren't so much tangled tv show sets as much as they were tangled sets with tv show characters, much like the JW Camp Cretaceous wave. Amphibia will likely never get sets (Although I would kill for a brick-built Andrias, and honestly this is the one time I think I would prefer minidolls over figs, because of the art style), and The Owl House is in only a barely better position, considering that it only has 2 more specials to air. Even this year, with Disney branching out into more of their classic (Princess-less) franchises, I doubt that any modern shows would make it.
  3. Well, the Slave 1 has flick fire missiles, so that's a thing. The 501st battle pack looks good though, although it is a bit of a hard pill to swallow considering that the exact same cannon with only 20 less pieces and the same number of minifigs retailed for $13 back in 2012 (9488), but I guess that's what a decades worth of inflation will get you. I'm also glad to see the normalisation of the new Phase II helmets. The Tie bomber looks phenomenal as well, but also appears to be using flick fire missiles, and seems to be in an even smaller scale Than the 2021 Tie Fighter. Can't tell if that Vader has arm printing or not.
  4. Is there even the slightest chance to getting a Lion King set? Any at all? The've got most of the molds they would need by now.
  5. Honestly, because I love underwater sets, I could genuinely see myself getting most of the sets from this wave if they turn out to be in keeping with the whole water theme, despite not being interested in Avatar at all. I could always use more sea monsters and subs.
  6. Didn't we hear that it was a vehicle from jjpsleakssite? Scarilion posted a list of what we know on the last page.
  7. So the figure selection will be something like Namor, Namora, Black Panther, Mark II Ironheart, M'Baku, and Okoye. With around 6 minifigures, that almost makes up for the price of the set. And 5 of them are exclusive to boot!
  8. Maybe. I await clarification. EDIT: He wasn't joking.
  9. By that logic, why should we care about the northern hemisphere? This entire argument is based around the idea that your country is the only one that matters, when this is a global release.
  10. Here's the thing though. Here in Australia the vast majority of the Christmas stuff is based on the Winter version, despite firmly being in boiling summer when it occurs, and we don't complain about it, because to us, both are sides of the same coin. Christmas is a global event in many countries with different climates, and should be treated as such. I would love to see more figures like this in future, because there is so much potential there.
  11. I mean, lego did cancel the Overwatch 2 set weeks before release because of the Blizzard Issues. They wouldn't be happy about it but they have done it in the past.
  12. So one figure and a build are enough to be a dealbreaker for the calendar, all because it doesn't fit into your exact idea of what Christmas is? I for one am 100% on board with some summer stuff. The other half of the world is important you know.
  13. Do you really think there's a chance that lego would put that much of an investment into DC after the last two years of neglect? I honestly don't think so, as much as I would love it. Simple, I put it in the niche category. It's the same as with Venom. I like it, but it definitely isn't for everyone.
  14. I meant the aspect of what those sets could have been in terms of speculation, not in terms of production. Regardless, Marvel has been rather underwhelming this year, with the only good sets in my opinion being the goat boat, the Wakanda Forever Sets and Gargantos, despite it's issues. The rest have either been niche or just not good. It doesn't even look like the 500 dollar set is even coming out this year anymore.
  15. Eh, I actually like the look of Venom, but the rest of them are just not great. Still can't believe we lost 4 set slots to these things.
  16. Looks like they are making Drax green. Not sure about that. We do need a proper Nebula as well, without a quantum suit or Christmas attire. Why they chose her over Rocket or Starlord is beyond me, but I do like the builds.
  17. Just in case this hasn't been reported, the set numbers for the buildable figures are up on lego.com in the instructions. No pictures yet, but hopefully a reveal soon.
  18. Probably his little winglets. I am glad this are putting actual effort into these figures.
  19. Lets be honest with ourselves, its highly likely that all of these sets are marvel. No need to tease us.
  20. Disappointed by the lack of MBS set this year, but it does save me a whole lot of money. Guess I was wrong about it coming later. Oh well. We will see if they continue MBS or if it has been discontinued already.
  21. I was able the call the ones I wanted on sale fairly early, but it is awful that these sets that already border on extremely overpriced are getting increases just 4 months after release. I find it really surprising that these sets and others like the new Star Wars sets were not revealed with the new price tags attached from the get-go.
  22. No, it has not been confirmed to specifically be that set, however Promobricks has said there is definitely one coming. So there is still a chance, however unlikely, for it to be a new MBS set. Fingers crossed.
  23. On Lego.com Australia, the price of the Kai Raider has gone from $140 to $150, and the Samurai X Mech has gone from $180 to $200. It begins.
