Hello, I present you my latest MOC, which is mini version of the 42043 set Model functions: - HOG steering on 2 front axles - fake 4-piston engine - pendular suspension on first, third and fourth axles - opening doors - tipping bed with tailgate - working crane with bucket - outriggers Original set is at 1:17 scale, and my model at 1:35, so it's 2x smaller than the original. Definitely Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245 (42043). A lot of functions, great appearance (even though cab is too long and whole truck should be 19-wide (excluding cab)) and great memories with nostalgia from TV's advertising about it.

My alternative model of 42167 Mack LR set - skip loader truck. It features HOG steering and detachable container which can be loaded/unloaded.

It looks very cool, I really like it. I'm not sure about that, how well reinforced is arm, because of using short thin liftarms, but anyways you did a very dissent job.

I think 42093 or 42151 would be the best approach. So using axle with stop 5L or 4L (depends on how long is required), I think would work without any issues since wheels would prevent sliding them. I love how it looks with stickers applied, totally like 8109. Maybe the front uses too much system pieces (at least for me), but original set has front made out of system. -

It looks better and better. I have only question for rear wheels - what about using 3L brown axles and wheels with axle holes on rear axles? That solution would be stronger than frictionless pins. Also you can use some panels/1x2 liftarms in yellow on side behind door - with these connectors looks a bit weird. For the car that you can tow, is one of 8-wide Speed Champions ones, that would look pretty cool.
