MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
Yperio_Bricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
There's no "competition". While 90% of the galaxy is empty, you guys just attacked us out of the blue in a sector where we had 81 points already. 67 plus the 14 missing points from the May the 4th contest and more mocs are waiting to be judged. This attack is not very nice and zero fun. -

*Your entry has earned 17 XP + 3 bonus for a total of 20 XP (S:5, T:6, A:6) Hunting Saboteurs The Empire was once strong on Alsakan. Being one of the Galactic Empires greatest supporters, an Imperial Academy was established on this core world. Now, after the empire was defeated, there are still collaborators, saboteurs and terrorists hiding on Alsakan. Disguised as farmers or merchants they are keeping the dark ideas of the Empire alive, plotting evil plans, commiting sabotage and acts of terrorism. These traitors are also collecting data about the New Republic military and political representatives. Lately imperial remnants upped their activity and started to cause carnage amongst the core worlds. Peace is in danger! And so it happened that agents of the New Republic Security Forces tracked down a saboteur on the planet of Alsakan and caught him red-handed when he tried to sabotage one of the local moisture farms. -
What a great ship the DF-11 is! I love the overall rusty look and the yellow (or flame orange?) matches well with the grey and brown. The phat thursters surely give this ship some speed. And I remember I had those exhaust pipes as a kid! I also like that the studs of the moon dwarf planet are visible in the shot with the DF-11.

Great job with the outpost! I like the cracks in the walls, using curved slopes. Also very nice irregular shaped base Looking forward to learn more about Joull Kyter! It's great to see the mercs in action! -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules

So here's @Sentinel_Brix M4 entry: And here is the Mysteries entry: -
Yes, that is correct for Europe, Australia and New Zealand. As far as i know the warehouse in Romeoville, Illinois serves North America, but only for bestseller parts. Standard parts are shipped to North America from Europe.

The story is just great! The whole "Raiders..." arc should be a 5 hour audio drama! And I love the lightning! Using the light and box is so simple but very effective and the light effects in the bar looks so so good Also props to Luke for his dramatic entry and for vanquishing the enemies with acrobatic moves and skillfull lightswordsmanship

I am a Star Trek fan and a Star Wars fan and do not buy UCS sets Evereything is possible
-
I am sorry, but I have to come back to this every time because I really do not understand this: When it is not profitable for Lego, then why so many other companies produce castle and pirates sets? Due to the economy of scale it should be much cheaper for the Lego to produce sets en masse for a global market while the other companies sell far less copies. Taking into acount what the previous posters said, i do think it would have been better to sell a pirate ship alongside Eldorado Fortress. Take the ship out of Barracuda Bay, maybe tweak it a little bit and sell it on its own. So there are two opposing factions to play with and have the pirates attacking the fortress. It would also look nice on display i guess. Does anybody know how many parts the BB ship has in its ship form? [EDIT: Ok, there's the creator pirate ship, but the BB one looks much better.]
-
Oh wow, I didn't know that. 2020 when BB came out i was not yet settled on Star Wars and Pirates, so i missed out on the set. If it would be still on shelves, i would have bought it.

There was a hugh transition taking place these days. The warehouse in Poland was expanded and will now serve as sole PAB supplier for Europe, Australia and New Zealand. So eventually all standard parts, which formerly came from Denmark, will become bestseller parts and will be sent from Poland as well. While the transition was underway, peoples shopping carts were emptied. But since all parts are bestsellers now (or will be soon), the delivery from Poland will take only few days instead of the 4 weeks it took from Denmark.

I am not so much interested in the movie itself. I am more interested in the accompanying Lego sets! I guess POTC 6 is the only chance of getting a wave of sets and even battlepacks. Funny, I just watched POTC 2 last night
-
Unfortunately, the near future does not look very promising when it comes to pirate themed sets. Lego has not forgotten about Pirates, but it is just a gimmick at this point. A Fortnite skin, CMF figure or a Legoland set or GWP. Barracuda and Eldorado both had surprisingly short shelve lifes of around 1.5 years. I wonder why? And when will POTC 6 in theatres? 2027? 2028? If it comes to big sets, like LOTR got, i only see the Black Pearl as a possibility, but sadly no location. Other ships maybe??

Another great moc and story! I really enjoy reading this! Nice pose of determined Lei on his knees with the dagger in his hand. The scene is set up so well and i knew what was going on before i even read the text. Good job Luckily Lei has a good eye and they were able to retrieve the treasures and documents.- 7 replies

Although not everyone forgot about KOPYDAT... Some of the airlocks deep in the core of the station were still in good condition. So eventually KOPYDAT was boarded by a mysterious figure. An information broker, once a freelancer but now an agent of the New Republic, boarded the station and installed strange machines on KOPYDAT. Tactical stations, holoprojectors, even a holo library, powerd by a army of gonk droids and few of the station's solar panels that were still intact. The data kraken, the spynet spider is now passively observing the holonet, filtering communication and also observing a network of drones and automated watch towers all acorss the regions of the galaxy that once were under imperial control. And so it happened that the information broker picked up signals from the Mandalore sector! There were some incomplete Mandalorian distress signals but also imperial codes amongst the intercepted messages...

Put them in MOCs! -
Another great moc of yours! The hexagonal tower and the water and waves look so good! I liked all mocs you built for the Pavillon Noir RPG. Your character was very distinctive with the long ginger hair or hair/hat combo and i still remember him jumping from the roof of the Hacienda
