  1. I’ve already build 6 differents minifigs + 1 monkey (old classic pirate one) and 1 parrot. Can I use all my 6 minifigs or should I choose between the monkey and the sixth minifig? Can I count the parrot as an accessory ? 🤔
  2. Aurore - 1 point Soccerkid6 - 1 point Tayaya - 1 point
  3. This is my entry for Fantastic Feast (Brickscalibur) and also for The Colossal Castle Contest. It is an addition to a previous Moc (The Throne Room of the dragon clan fortress) that I didn’t post here yet! King Dagorn and Queen Alienora host a grand reception at the castle. The chandeliers sparkle, the tables are laid with delicacies and the guests, decked out in their finest finery, converse happily. Among the guests is Dovahkiin, the kingdom's sorcerer. Accustomed to powerful spells and explosive potions, he can't help diverting his attention from the conversation to use his magic for more gourmet purposes. A flick of his wand and a delicate macaroon lands directly in his hand. Another spell, and a cup miraculously fills up. Dovahkiin savors every moment, amused by his discreet little game. Not far away, an archer is having dangerous fun with fruit. With a precise shot, he aims at an apple placed on the head of one of the guests. This perilous game attracts the attention of some guests and provokes a few cries of fright. A juggler, meanwhile, impresses the crowd with his acrobatic skills. Juggling fruit, fish and sausages, he performs extraordinary feats, sending food tumbling through the air with disconcerting precision Urzul and Durzum, the nomadic orcs, were also invited. They swapped their traditional outfits for evening wear. Although they have made an effort to adapt to the customs of the kingdom, they find it difficult to behave socially in the presence of meat. The sight of steaming roasts and whole hams whets their appetites and they can't help glancing greedily at the tables and aggressively at other diners.
  4. This is one of my favorite constructions for the "Enchanted Forest" in the Brickscalibur contest. Now I understand why: as a resident of the Enchanted Forest, it's easy for you to represent your living environment so accurately 😉
  5. Thank you. It's not very difficult and actually quite quick to make bases like this. I needed to find something to highlight the charette and accentuate the Avalonia colors!
  6. In addition to everything else (the quality of the figures, the color palette and the story!) I particularly like the depth you were able to put into this creation, which is barely 16 tenons deep. The sloping walls, the mirror and the window with its view of the castle all worked in this direction. Congratulations!
  7. Welcome Tayaya. We're all delighted to have new members in Avalonia.
  8. I can't believe I haven't built a carpenter's workshop or sawmill since I joined GoH (which is an understatement, given Avalonia's countless forests). When the time comes to build my own sawmill, this Moc will obviously be a reference for me!
  9. A pretty scene teeming with life (human and animal!) Two pieces in particular catch my eye, the white piece that forms magnificent wisps of smoke and the two dark red pieces used for the pennants!
  10. I love this lively marketplace. The use of brown "crates" for the wooden structures of the buildings is ingenious... I've also used it in some of my constructions (but with dark gray crates that also work well for stone buildings). I love the fact that you've done an interior, it reminds me of a number of Louis of Nutwood mocs. The mix of blue and black for the roof works well, but maybe it lacks a bit of blue. The only thing I don't like is the use of the "cloud" pieces to represent the smoke: the rendering seems too flat to me.
  11. Very nice construction, I really like the touches of dark Orange and the horse in the same color, as well as the use of medium green on the building. The texture of the stone part is also very well done. I'm a little less keen on the visible tenons on the wooden section at the junction between the roof wall and the upper section.
  12. Here's my last-minute entry for this contest! The herbalist’s cart
  13. Until then I hadn't been very inspired by the theme of this contest, and I also wanted to save as many of my bricks as possible for the Brickscalibur contest. Finally, on Sunday, just as I'd got used to the idea of not taking part, I got an inspiration that I hope you'll like. The Avalonia colors are obvious and the theme is respected without having to build something huge! Here's my herbalist's cart! Sylfaerd Gilric, a discreet man, lives peacefully in the village of Marginea, nestled in the heart of Avalonia. An accomplished herbalist, he spends half his time exploring the depths of the enchanted forest, in search of plants with healing properties. The other half of the year, he works as a traveling merchant, criss-crossing the kingdom to offer the fruits of his labor to the inhabitants. Among his loyal customers is Dovhakiin, the mage of the dragon clan, who particularly appreciates the natural remedies concocted by Sylfaerd. However, the herbalist's success is not without danger. Some zealous soldiers are looking for a rare plant: dragon's grass. Reputed to inhibit fear and once used on the battlefield, it has been banned throughout the kingdom after causing numerous deaths. If they were to find even a tiny quantity of it in the cart, Sylfaerd would be in serious trouble especially as the few leaves he hide in a bag of herbal tea are destined for Queen Alienora herself. Sylfaerd finds himself juggling his passion for plants with the dangers of his trade. His discretion and prudence will be his best allies in protecting his secrets and continuing to make a living from his passion.
  14. Here is my entry to the « Medieval Micro » contest (Brickscalibur) and « Castle of Tears » (Colossal Castle Contest) I decided to continue with my avalonian legends and to keep the style of my previous « End of an Avalonian Castle » THE BUILD A lord had the idea of fleeing these endless wars and building a castle in the middle of the stormy seas. The installation was not easy and the first months were complicated. Quickly, the fleets of the different kingdoms guided by the "triangle of fire" produced by the lighthouses of this marine citadel came to shelter during storms in the ports built for this purpose. This is how trade, made impossible on the continent due to wars, resumed its course thanks to a neutral intermediary. The inhabitants of the Trident benefited greatly and the kingdom prospered and became increasingly rich and autonomous despite a total absence of cultivable land, pastures and mines. This lasted several decades... until a sea creature tired of the comings and goings of commercial ships systematically attacked them... without trade, no more resources and no more drinking water , all the inhabitants disappeared one after the other after a short period of civil war, famine and epidemic. The lighthouses of this ruined citadel no longer burn and the sailors who today cross these tumultuous seas now call this fort the castle of tears.
  15. My entry, as a team with @Aurore, for the collaborative category of Brickscalibur. As always it was a nice experience to collaborate with « GoH folks », after @Eyrezer in 2021 and @socalbricks last year. It was a pleasure to build for the lore of « Chronicles of Embervale » THE BUILD « We catfolk are playful creatures, and just like all cats, chasing preys is our favourite pastime. Since we have the fastest carts in a mountain range crisscrossed with trade roads, it’s quite a lucrative hobby ! » - Greon, catfolk bandit captain. THE STORY (see Aurore´s topic!)
  16. Nice use of the round tile 2x2 with a hole. Always an amazing amount of details on a tiny 4x4 baseplate…
  17. Nice litttle scene. I removed from my last BL cart three « kunai »… it’s now a regret! I didn’t spot the skeleton legs. I kept a few of them for further usage but didn’t find any. It’s not a surprise you finally found one!
  18. Nice minifig. Great start. I like how he sinks into the snow and the use of this flame for the torch.
  19. Thank you! It’s how I found this topic. But there are some topics where the pics are not visible! And most of the time Kolgari are mentioned but not illustrated!
  20. I am looking forward too! Go go GOH!
  21. Hi! I wasn’t a Guildie in 2019, and I am discovering now this amazing work. I’m working on a figbarf with Kolgari people… and my main character have the same head and hairs than Dalnas Moonflame. I am searching for more information / builds / history around Kolgari’s people! If anybody have links to share… builders to follow… Thank you to MP me!
  22. Nice to see a new contest here too!I hope we’ll have some minifig contest too in the future. But marketplace are crowdy so we’ll see a bunch of amazing GoH figs for sure!
