The crowd pleaser IMO would be a battle pack- The figs people really want are Kang, Cassie. and a "good" Wasp fig, but we're going to get another Antman whether we like it or not. 4 figs and a small MODOK build, and then whatever that seat thing with claws that he has, would be perfect. Honestly I'd most like a build like the helicarrier MODOK, but with a little more MCU-based colors and look. Maybe an extra piece for the mask to cover a similar face "round panel" piece? This mech-sized MODOK talk is blasphemy! Minifig scale is the way!

The irony with him saying "Drax isn't a christmas tree" is of course that Drax has always been green prior to the MCU. I'm in camp "grey" though and pretty disappointed lego is changing his color, especially since MCU lego fans have been begging for a new fig for years.

I really hope they keep any skrulls in Lime green... I picked up a few extra Talos to fill out some troops and it would be a bummer if they switched to sand green or something

The optimism in this forum is what keeps me here for news/reviews/etc... We're kidding ourselves if we think a Marvel CMF isn't going to include a bunch of What If figs, especially given the ones in the last set were super popular. What a dream it would be to have a 16-fig set of MCU D+ characters though!

Dunno why my last comment disappeared but this is essentially what I wrote: I can really imagine them focusing on 2023 content, especially given most of 2022's shows were adult themed, and Hawkeye was even technically 2021. I'd love to get a CMF with all of the 2022-2023 favorites but this is my more realistic expectation: They skip Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, and Secret Invasion, include She-Hulk as a late 2022 all-ages favorite, and focus on 2023. Ms Marvel will be in the Marvels set; it seems like a waste to include her, but Lego would totally reuse molds for it. I'm making the assumption that the releases for this year are Secret Invasion, Iron Heart, Loki S2, and Echo, along with What If in summer and Xmen 97 in fall as well... 1. She-Hulk 2. This is why I'm probably gonna pass on it. I'd love the Iron Man and Loki figs though. I hate the cockpit if I'm being honest... unless I'm mistaken it looks like the whole thing is just bent into place via clips? Meaning the front grey pieces open up like an insectoid mouth? I really like that the interior is more spacious and looks like the interior in Avengers 1, but the cockpit really does look like a solid great brick with wings. I'm wondering if it'd be better just to just upgrade my 2020 quinjet with some more space inside.

The licensed CMF series was already revealed to be Disney 100 years by a designer?... is there a second licensed CMF? Otherwise I thought consensus was 24, 25, and Disney.

I didnt realize one of the Avatars is wearing dark tan pants... cmon tall Groot! Groot 2 seems to correctly be about human size too :(

Honestly the variety of ball joint pieces is shockingly sparse for how common they are used in Lego's current "mech meta." These pieces still only exist in grey, SMH.

10 years from now I'll be heartbroken when my Shuma Gorath's (i wont be humoring this Gargantos nonsense) ball joints break and fall apart, but for now this illegal connection was basically ignored by most people. It really is a great set.

This. MCU sets get a certain budget just because their sales are so massive compared to comic sets. The Morbius set for example (all hail morb) isnt going to sell anywhere near enough to warrant some kind of morbius-specific mold. Rhino is also one of the most popular characters in the Spidey cartoon... Electro less so. I dont really see any great reason for Lego to make a classic Electro mold because nobody would clamor to get the set for it alone. The only classic Spiderman unique mold I'm aware of is Scorpion in the D2C*? set from years ago.

We know the three main characters, Dock Ock, and Goblin are in them... I'd bet a lot of money Iron Man will be in one, and probably Electro. Reptil is likely also given it wouldnt require any new pieces. I do feel bad for people wanting the old Drax... I saw the writing on the wall when the Advent Calendar was revealed and paid the price on bricklink for the old one. I bought a bootleg Kraglin as well because I'm certain he wont be in these sets. I'm expecting the Bowie will probably come with Guardians in their new suits, and we'll get regular outfits in the others.

Cmon guys the bigfigs arent going anywhere. Sandy was probably changed because MK sets are already incredibly expensive in the west. As everyone's mentioned, the new Thanos piece was from last year and has been used in other sets this year. It's clearly being optimized the same way Iron Man's helmet is. Not to mention bigfig hands have been in a handful of sets as well. Edit: would be rad to see some more of these Toy Story/Avatar "midfigs" being used, for Groot and maybe Shehulk? Other bigger characters

James Gunn already said this isnt the case FYI, its 2001 and thats it. Just my 2 cents but Antman sets will probably be Jan. All other merchandisers were given enough warning to anticipate the date changes. Its a small set and probably not even a big enough deal to warrant the conversation.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the set descriptions have been mixed up and the midsize set isn't a spaceship, though I don't think it'll be thhe Abilisk. The Bowie seems to be at least twice the size of the Benetar, so I hope the $100 size isn't too much of a restriction for it to be a good set.

I havent gotten a mech since the Miles Morales one, but wow, they really took out half the piece count. Theres of course the ninjago joints everybodybis complaining about, but I usually love the openable chest plat with the clip and round tile... I didnt realize theyd replaced the part behind it with a single piece to hold the fig. Very weird!

The hulkbuster looks great! Looks like it has some great pieces for MOCing a minifig scale build At a glance the Quinjet looks super sleek and as if they took all of the good parts of the best quinjet (the one from the Endgame waves) and improved on it... after looking deeper at it, there are some build techniques that are a little concerning, namely around the cockpit. That ones definitely a wait and see for me. Morb and Ghost Rider are alright, but ngl, I absolutely HATE those non-poseable joints that get used in all of the cheap Ninjago sets. Morb's hairpiece cracks me up too. I hope this set's popularity doesnt give Sony the impression we want more Morb...

Is the cap helmet new? It sure looks like it hangs lower in the back than previously. The old one doesn't cover an entire face if it's two-sided, but that never really bothered me honestly.

I mean, leaks of the Antman funko pops showed up over the weekend, and we have the first look at MODOK and Kang. Honestly I'm a little afraid of how far this movie might deviate from the comics
