These are all really good reasons it can't be the Benetar... I'm now convinced it's the Benetar. -

Is Shuri's new hairpiece too feminine? I'm wondering if it'd make a good hairpiece for unmasked Killmonger. I asked my family if the Mordo hairpiece could be used for Nakia and they unanimously told me it looks too masculine :( -

Surely not, christmas sweaters are basically legos way of sticking it to people who buy advent calendars for the figures 🤣 -
old Sanctum Sanctorum integrated in the new one

I love this set but I still can't get over the hot dog samurai helmet. The changes look good though, great to not have a big hole in the middle of the floor! -

Better than extending it wide would be extending it deep, so theres room in the entry, etc... I'm not the type to gush, but wow the Sanctum is an amazing set. I would typically never pay this much for a set, but I splurged, and I've been blown away by the building techniques the entire time. I can't get over how the designer made the front corner of the building differently on each level. The easter eggs are amazing and I'm a huge fan of hidden features, and the Sanctum has a ton. If the figs were better, this would probably be an east winner for best Superhero theme set ever IMO. -

Still hoping for 6-7 figs and honestly expecting 5 (because Lego), but if we get any more figs I would bet money on them being repeats, since 4 of the 5 figs are already unique. Probably either Nakia or Attuma or both if I had to guess. Actually this is one of the rare occasions that I'd love to get some troops... Dora Milaje or Atlanteans -

Agreed, it looks to be a tan/dark tan color. Hermione's pants are also a similar color and we can safely assume they're meant to be a khaki color rather than olive green. He'd still look better with brown pants IMO, but those will be easy to switch since they don't have printing. -

Not sure I understand what you meant here... they were wrong about the fig in the other sets, but seems like they were right about the character anyway? The Endgame Battle from last year was 7 figs (including a bigfig) for $70. I'd really love for that to be the standard but the Sanctum, by comparison, is 9 figs in a $250 set ;_; -

Nobody is really focused on the Advent Calendar builds (most of them are probably the worst micro-build ships ever, especially in contrast to the Star Wars calendars) but the Guardians' stereo is amazing and I'm super stoked to have printed 'awesome mix' tiles. IMO it's better than any of the figures. Hopefully they come with spares on the days they appear. Even Rocket's gun looks really cool and matches the Guardians vibe. -

This guy's set ideas are always amazing. We just want an Ego figure. IMO lego puts way too many "side builds" into their sets as it is. -

Let's be honest, an Everett Ross fig would be borderline unreognizeable. It'd probably have the same issue that the Ideas "sitcom" sets have, that outside of displaying them in the set, they look like generic or MOC figs. That said, I love the character, hope he shows up in a set at some point even if for no one else but collectors. -

I'm honestly surprised we haven't gotten a large set with the Panther monument. I'd love to have all of the figures everybody's mentioned that are still missing in Lego form, but I have to admit I expect the set to probably have Shuri, Namor, Attuma, and Nakia from the other sets. -

I'll wait for the closeups surely, but its not the outfit from the movie nor in any of the other toys. I think we all expect the last set to have the new Panther. -

The Shuri figure in the two non-legacy sets sure looks like a Panther suit to me. I can see why people dont want to jump the gun but in addition to everything else we've seen, this seems lile the nail in the coffin. -

What are the gold discs? Vibranium? Interestingly they appear in all the sets, so I imagine they are plot-relevant. -

Sets look cool! Definitely hoping for some Dora and Mbaku and maybe even Namora in the last set. These sets seem to imply Shuri is the BP for this movie, which is not surprising but disappointed. I also think the 'legacy' Black Panther set kind of highlights the problem with making a Black Panther movie without Tchalla, even acknowledging why they did. I really hope the multiverse or some other thing finds us a way to return us Tchalla with a recast. -

As cool as it is to see new stuff, I don't think a lot of lego fans find value in unobtainable sets and figs :( Retiring this is a good thing IMO. SDCC can still be used for announcements and whatnot if for some reason Legocon hasn't taken over that completely. -

Lego seems to be entertaining minifig-scale mechs/builds lately... we can definitely dream that something like that could happen now, and if not, the community provides! -

I don't necessarily think you're wrong, but a lot of fans (not specific to lego) use pattern recognition to try to predict retail releases, and it's counter-intuitive... One of the fundamentals of advertising is doing *new* things, so a large mini-figure scale set, in one of Lego's most popular themes is without precedent, and is probably more likely because of that, rather than less likely. -

Is the armory actually out? My local store said it doesn't come out til July, but lego.com says it's already out. I only ask because I haven't seen it anywhere and it hasn't hit bricklink. -

Thunderbolts is a team akin to 'Suicide Squad,' in that it's a villain-based team (or at least the most popular and recent version of it is). It's not going to be a team of female 'good guys,' or they wouldn't use the name Thunderbolts, which is specifically from 'Thunderbolt' Ross. It doesn't need to be a direct translation, of course, but again, if it wasn't the Thunderbolts, they wouldn't call it that. My guess is that it will focus on morally gray characters like US Agent, and the stinger between him and Valentina all but guarantees he'll be in it.
