  1. The help section on "Topic Options" currently states that the "Options" button is located at the bottom of each topic. I think what Billb meant was that he would like to see the help section corrected to point to the actual location of the button in the upper right corner of each topic.
  2. Same here! Glad to see the comments by Batbrick and myself sparked the idea for a great contest, can't wait to see all the entries! So far, I like what I've seen in the entry thread. If all the creations are this good, we'll have a hard time choosing which one is best! :-D
  3. From what I saw in the pictures, I already figured you must've used glue. That'll surely offend some LEGO purists, but it's fine by me ;-)
  4. LOL!!! :-D Well, there you have it... from now on, we'll just refer to them as Orcs! And the big guys are Trolls. Somehow, the outcome of this poll doesn't surprise me that much :-D
  5. Just CHUCK the whole woodchuck topic >:-)
  6. Not just a Target exclusive, it's also on the US S@H. I still have hope it will become available in Europe as well...
  7. Go right ahead Hinckley! This is going to be quite interesting.... :-D Interesting, will that actually undo the magic that brought the undead to life?

    LDraw

The original LDraw is a DOS program, MLCad provides you with a Windows based interface. The hard part is to get those two programs installed properly, you have to carefully read the instructions on the LDRaw website. The other programs are for rendering images of your creations, but I never figured out how that works exactly (not that I tried so hard).
  9. LOL, I don't think they had super glue in medieval times. :-D But seriously, it's not like skeletons are that solid to begin with! I doubt that any could stay upright or even whole without some aid, let alone that they start walking around. So who says the magic used by the wizard to animate the skeletons stops working after a skeleton gets smashed apart...
  10. You bet we're still reading this! Thanks for the update, looks great! *y*
  11. From what I gathered, Dwarfs Mine will be released with the other sets in 2008, but it also has a special early release in november this year. Yes I know, it's a bit confusing. *wacko*
  12. Good question actually! How DO you beat a Skellie??? It has no vital organs and is already dead, even if you smash its bones, wouldn't it just put itself together again? *wacko*
  13. You're welcome! By the way, why not change the forum colors into something darker as well? That would even further the mysterious effect of the banner *skull*
  14. Great interview guys! Judging by the previous post, I wasn't the only one who initially thought Jinzoningen was Dutch, LOL. Perhaps because it really resembles a combination of the name Jinze and the city Groningen X-D
  15. Nice! That really brings the forum into a halloween atmosphere :-D
  16. I don't know if it's going to make a difference, but I too left a message stating my disapproval. Stealing other peoples creations and claiming them as your own is something not done in my opinion, and you have my full support in setting the matter straight. I hope this issue gets resolved quickly.
  17. Try shooting rubber bands at them, less risk of actually damaging the bricks and still the fun of taking apart the MOC ;-)
  18. I think no four year old would follow a modern assembly process :-D But judging from all the reactions in this thread, most AFOLs are very meticulous when it comes to building LEGO models. We and our little quirks :-P
  19. Just compare that to children singing St Martin songs to get some sweets...
  20. That's too bad, I always enjoyed reading the Brickjournal magazine. But I'm certainly not going to pay any money for it, I'm not that crazy. I can be wrong, but aren't there a lot more ads on Bricklink now?
  21. Christmas used to be about celebrating the birth of Christ, but nowadays it's more about Santa Clause and getting presents. Did you know Santa Claus as you know him was invented by Coca Cola? The chubby, white bearded guy dressed in red first appeared in an early Coca Cola advertisement. The original character it was based upon was St. Nicolas, who was a bishop about 400 years ago I believe. We used to give eachother presents at St. Nicolas day, but that tradition is also gradually dying out.
  22. You're welcome to ;-) And yes, I believe that was the intent of this thread X-D
  23. If they were, they probably wouldn't be working in a call centre...
  24. No argument there. But the real issue here is how to refer to them on Eurobricks ;-)
