  1. Ah, that's quite interesting. Thanks for the info!
  2. As far as I can tell, it's sort of within the same range of colours as Saw Gerrera's armour that LEGO seems to have not really covered at all in their palette. Though I personally agree with their choices of dark green and sand blue for Saw and Paz respectively, I do hope that they'll eventually introduce some new shades of faded/dark/realistic-looking green, blue, and perhaps purple or red too. They'd be great for light->dark gradients and for giving Star Wars sets colour detail that would otherwise be too bright or missing entirely.
  3. If Nook's Cranny indeed didn't have text on it due to them not wanting to print it in different languages for non-English speaking countries, perhaps they were okay with just English for the airport because seeing airport signs in different languages is something that kids can potentially relate to, so it probably won't be as weird for people building the set who don't speak English. Perhaps they can have fun using google translate to read the sign, as they may have done in a real airport? Anybody have any other hypotheses that would make sense?
  4. Haven't had an opportunity to see those images yet, but what changes did they make? I would have assumed they'd just remove his moustache as he didn't have one in S3, but did they update something else that makes it more accurate otherwise? That's good to know. I had hoped they'd at least bring his helmet detailing more in line with the recent increase in effort they've put into Mando helmets (e.g. the updated helmets for Mando, Bo, and Boba, and the extra details on the fleet commander compared to previous generic ones).
  5. I was super excited for a playscale Death Star so this is a little disapointing, especially since I have the 2014 ISD, but the 12 figures has me interested.
  6. Managed to make my May 1st purchase at midnight, all went smoothly. Bought an extra clone/droid BP to hit the highest threshold, will probably resell it since I already have two. Super excited to finally get the Infiltrator, BARC, and hallway sets. I do hope the reveals happening later are indeed for June or August sets!
  7. The new May 1st sets (with the exception of the UCS TIE Interceptor) are all available to order on the Bricksmegastore (Australian LEGO store) website right now for some reason! Still going to wait 'til midnight to buy them to get the promo though.
  8. Love all of the new figure reveals! Super excited to see more from the Peridea set, too. Outside of this forum, the X-Wing seems to be getting very little attention as everybody seems too distracted by the figures to notice it. I screenshotted the best views of it immediately after the first time I watched the video for further studying, and it does look very good! I love the greebling on the back, and the cheese slopes around the nose should help it finally have that more accurate shaping.
  9. Woah, good sleuthing! I suppose that confirms Tarkin being in the DS set, which is happy news, unless, as was suggested, something more interesting involving a younger Tarkin is coming our way!
  10. Though I don't know whether or not LEGO outright said that there were six anniversary Harry Potter figs, the main graphic being advertised at the time was of the six that were included in mainline sets. As we know, three more were released in the D2C later in the year. I think a similar thing is happening here. They're advertising the six from the mainline playsets that are all accessible around the world, and both R2-KT and "Legacy" Maul, being outliers and being included in products that won't have the same availability as other sets, are extras that are still labelled as anniversary figs on packaging because not doing so would be frankly a bit weird.
  11. If only that were so, but I'm fairly certain it was confirmed to be white and dark red unfortunately.
  12. Fairly certain he's using the Wrecker/Paz/Darktrooper armour piece, so I don't think a cape printed onto the figure would make sense. Most likely an actual cape with printing on it, because they seem to be willing to put some more effort into the anniversary figs than usual.
  13. And finally an accessible non-festive version of Grogu's hoverpram! And it fits in the sidecar!
  14. Dioramas aren't my thing, but the terrain sculpting on this one is just fabulous. As for the droideka, the large one looks epic, and while the minfig-scale one is kinda the right size now, it looks like their only source material was the large one after they'd already finished it, and that it was definitely just an afterthought. The head looks goofy as heck, but the legs and blasters are quite good. Definitely seems like too much plastic up the top (chunky head) with not enough down the bottom (legs aren't connected to the round brown section that should be there).
  15. Agreed, it is a bit strange. I don't have 75162, but I do have 75032, and that helmet doesn't have proper side printing, but given that its from 2014, it definitely shows that the modern Luke Skywalker figure should have a helmet better than it.
  16. Yes, same here. Looking at my older sets, the marks were always on the underside rather than on one of the shorter ends of the 1xsomething tiles like every one of them are now. Why on earth would they change that?
  17. Dagnabbit, I've been waiting 'til May 1st to buy it along with the May sets to make sure I hit the threshold! Hopefully they account for people wanting to do this and get some stock ready.
  18. Yes, I think this was confirmed. Hopefully the battle pack is terrain, as you said, so that they can connect in a way that makes sense and so we don't end up with a nonsense vehicle. That way, buying more battle packs to set up a larger scene gives you the extra room required to pose the extra figures.
  19. The ultimate 25th anniversary set would be a blue TIE fighter done to the quality of the 2021 version (or even better as that was somehow 3 years ago)
  20. Didn't one of the reliable lists we got a while ago have some strange little 25th Anniversary Celebration set, that was supposedly in a similar vein to the holiday diorama, that people speculated might have 1-2 more anniversary figs similarly to the Hogwarts Icons set with its extra golden characters? It sounds like this person might be talking about that, but if so, that's old news that they might just be bringing up to appear reliable because everybody forgot about it.
  21. I built my Nook's Cranny and Rosie's house, Fauna's house, and Bunnie's outdoor activities last night, and I am just loving them! Amazing job on LEGO's part!
  22. Oh my goodness, yes! LEGO would be out of their minds to not capitalise on how celebrating holidays is such a big part of AC. Imagine all of the cool furniture and accessories that they could include as builds, and that's on top of the customary minifig repeats and potential Christmas variants!
  23. I must say I do like Maul's new eyes, but the robes are definitely way too busy-looking. Annoying because the only other Maul I have is the CWS7 one, so I can't switch out the torso and legs on the new one.
  24. Good to know. Thanks for the help!
