  1. I read The Flash Voume 1 and 2 (New 52 series). The art is fantastic and the characters are enjoyable (especially the Rouges). My only complaint is that Vol 1 felt a bit slow, which is ironic considering the Flash is the fastest man alive I also read Superior Spiderman Vol 1 and 2. It's really cool to see Doc Ock as the Spiderman and see how the villains act towards this more serious Spidey.
  2. 3DS: Pokemon X PS3: South Park: Stick of Truth. I'm really enjoying this game. The game has done a really good job of capturing the 'feel' of the show and the humor is spot on. WII U: Super Mario 3d World: I'm stuck on one of the bonus levels, so I've been going back to the earlier levels and trying to get the three green stars in every level. Toad is my favorite character, but Peach is the best to use due to her float jump. PS3: Lego Marvel Superheroes. I've been playing this game in small burst whenever I fell like it. At the moment, I'm at 42% completion!
  3. My two least favorite sets (one DC, one Marvel) in no particular order: Iron Man vs Golf buggy flamethrower machine: It's completely inaccurate to the movie and the Mandarin minifigure looks awful. The only redeeming feature of the set is the brilliant Iron Man Heartbreaker mini figure. Man of Steel: Black Zero Escape: An over sized escape pod with a werid door/ladder thing? No thanks. Also, the Lois Lane minifigure suffers from the 'massive cheek bones' problem.
  4. I'm interested in the Harley Quinn series but I didn't like the breaking the 4th wall stuff in issue #0. Is the rest of the series like that?
  5. Well, Batman does only work in black or sometimes very dark grey I would like to see some of those Super Secret Police vehicles you could see in the Super Cycle chase scene. Maybe a set with that wooden vehicle pulled by pigs Wyldstyle built to escape the Wild West area.
  6. Too be honest, Justice League: Origins is basically one big action scene. However, it is very enjoyable and is a good introduction to the various members of the Justice League. Also, have you been reading Scott Snyder's Batman series or Batman: Dark Knight? Because Scott Snyder's Batman series is A LOT better than Batman: Dark Knight.
  7. I'm reading the New 52 Aquaman series and I'm really enjoying it. The art is great and the characters, especially the Others, are very interesting. I've just finished the Others story line and I'm about to move onto the Throne of Atlantis arc! Geoff Johns did a really good job at making Aquaman 'cool'!. I also purchased the Joker #1 Villian's month issue. It was a bit silly, but I enjoyed it
  8. I agree with LightningTiger The forum is filled with Superhero related posts and I think it would be better to give it it's own forum (like Star Wars). If it doesn't work out we could always change it back
  9. I'm fine with the forum as it is, but I would really like a new banner.
  10. For DC, it would have to be Two-Face's escape. The bank and vehicles are amazing and the minifigures look weird at first, but they grow on you after a while. The Batmobile in this set is defiantly my favorite Lego Batmobile. For Marvel, I'm going to say the Malibu Mansion set for play-ability and the fact that it's a rare kind of superhero set; it actually includes a building!
  11. You've done a great job at recreating my favorite part of the game . The fire is amazing and the Firefly figure is the icing on the cake!
  12. Those are the ones I'm actually interested in at the moment. I think i might check out Aquaman because I'm suffering a serious case of Bat-fatigue...
  13. How about Flexo?
  14. I'm currently using the New 52 series as a starting point for some DC characters. I curretly own: Batman Volume 1 Batman Volume 2 Batman Volume 3 Joker: Death of the Family Justice League Volume 1 Justice League Volume 2 My non New 52 books: Batman: Year one The Long Halloween Knightfall part one and two No mans land volumes one and two Hush Imposters Time and the Batman
  15. It depends what kind of Mount Doom this is. Is it a set based on the end of the film with Frodo, Sam or Gollum? Or is it a set based on the opening prolouge with Suaron, Elrond and Isildur? I'm going with Mount Doom because it might be the only way we can get Sauron.
  16. Thanks for the great and unique review! I hope we get to see more of these minifigure (re)views in the future
  17. I sure hope it isn't. If it is, I doubt I will ever own this beauty of a set
  18. I love this news and my wallet hates it
  19. I think it might be less than Orthanc because this isn't a 'licensed' theme. Woah. The ship looks amazing! I think I might not buy the Metal Beard set if he appears in this one . I don't like the small amount of minifigures though, but I guess Orthanc only had 5 as well. This next wave is going to be great! Now I just want the classic spaceship and Johnny Thunder to be confirmed
  20. Well, this is a much better small set than the Melting room. Those western/robot minifigures are amazing and the glider looks pretty great as well
  21. Eh, this set isn't that good. It really only exists as a cheap way to get the main characters.
  22. I'm going for the Rohan BP again. The Watcher in the water just doesn't offer very much apart from the entrance to the Mines.

    Legoville

Wow! I'm amazed with your Lego town, and the fact that you get your own room to put it in!
  24. Well... I guess that the Kabob stall looks pretty ugly and the plane is alright at best. This set was one of my favorite 'transformed' sets, but now I don't like it as much. Thanks for another great review though
  25. Thank you for the review! You've now convinced me that this set is worth purchasing
