  1. Doing a pretty poor job at hiding it.. Well, there's perhaps nothing for today, as it seems Minoru's gotten the big vote, but there's still plenty to look at in terms of the suspicions raised today. As soon as I get a chance, I, at least, will be going to consult the wise ramen-bowl of remembrance again to reflect upon some of the past days' events. It was discussed earlier today, but fell by the wayside: Nobuo's determination against Ichirou, and then there's Isamu's votes and accusations to consider, if the claim against him bears truth (neither of which, admittedly, have I looked at in depth yet, so this may be jumping the gun). Or maybe all of this has been discussed to length, but behind closed doors.
  2. This, really? I know I've been far from the most vocal in the temple, but come on. Surely, your tiny lizard brain grew a few sizes to match your body, didn't it? You start the day by suggesting something that had already been all-but disproven, and then you mimic Aiko? You've got to be kidding me.
  3. OoC: If I may, I'd expect him to do a ritualistic healing dance, chant and all! "Eekum-bokum, eekum-bokum, oobidy-boop, oobidy-boop... Eekum-bokum, eekum bokum... OOMENAKA!"
  4. "I think the bog fumes have gotten into my head.. you're right, I must have miscounted. Seems I missed the discount of another 200 gold, too. And that's an interesting thought, perhaps he could cleanse it, though, if he can, maybe we should pack a few extra Elixirs in case the process is especially taxing on his Ether."
  5. "Keep in mind that we're going to need 24 Remedies, at a maximum of 20 gold each. I'm sure we could squeeze a bulk discount out of one of the Souk merchants, but we've still gotta assume at least 400 gold, for now."
  6. Le Gasp! Oh, Dockennn.... Maybe it's time to mention Sham's dear old mum! I'm getting my quests and characters confused, I think.
  7. Aawww, well now I want to waste time trying to convince him to sell mythril for cheap!
  8. "Oh, good one, Docken!"
  9. "Oh, no worries Thothy, I've got that in mind. I'd not linger if it would keep us here beyond our required time. Just satisfying my curiosities!" "Rule 34 of Eubric: If you can think of it, it exists (it's just a matter of finding it). Hah! But of course, I was merely testing the waters. Unfortunately, I believe I need to hang onto my gold for the moment, as we have a hefty order of Remedies to fill."
  10. "Technicalities, bah! A Diamond or an Amethyst. Fifty gold sounds reasonable enough to be worth considering. Unless you perhaps know of a rare gemstone that combines the properties of each, heh heh! And while I'm going on about such unlikely things, perhaps you know where to get a pair of boots that can make me feel light as a feather, agile enough to act twice as quickly as a normal man?"
  11. Hm, perhaps I am remembering something wrong. I will go and consult the bowl of all-telling ramen noodles, and make sure I have my facts straight.. And this. I, at least, still harbor my concerns regarding Lizzy.
  12. "Is there anything else we need, but can afford to wait two nights to get? If no one else has any suggestions, I'm at least curious about the cost to acquire a few gemstones.. Perhaps a Diamond and Amethyst?"
  13. Such an odd claim to make, neutral blocker. I have only ever heard tales of such a role, and that was long ago. They turned out to be about as useful as Minoru is now, how fitting.. And for making an out-of-the-ordinary claim, he sure did neglect to think of some far more likely reasons for the lack of killings last night. I'd guess that the mutineers' kill got canceled, somehow other than a third blocker, and that Minoru decided or was advised to try and take responsibility for it. But why, after Norio voiced his suspicions earlier in the week about the blocker that contacted him, did Minoru not make this claim then, even if privately?
  14. "Of course! Never meant to suggest otherwise, Cinna. Lead on!"
  15. "Ah, seems I'm still a bit more shaken up than I thought. But, now that we know for sure where we've been walkin', I think we should keep following the outer edges of the swamp as we leave. By the time we get back here with the Remedies, we'll likely have to relocate the hut, as its legs will have grown back. That'd make for a prime chance to do some more exploring in the central pathways, while we can make haste on our way out."
  16. OoC: When we "continued along the bank" before the Hut Battle, was that the northern, straight bank, or the southern, curving bank? Or, at least, are we at one of the intersections leading to the Kalma Badlands, or the 4-way intersection on the northeast corner of the fountain? Ignore that, we went to the southern edge for the wyvern, and are back at the hut, on the north eastern corner. Ignore that, too. Baba appeared to us, while we were still at the southern edge.. And, of course I left out that we decided to return the way we just came, putting us back at the north easter corner. Okay, NOW ive got that sorted out, haha
  17. "Thanks for the chain of heals, everyone! Let's take big ol' smelly down! I'll attack Foul Wyvern from the front row again."
  18. First time popping my head into this thread... 1) Loved Ninjas theme when I was younger, still one of my dominant collections of figs. Looking forward to some of this year's sets, though mostly for the baddies 2) Ninjago Green Ninja = Snakey? (Castle Crashers)
  19. OoC: That works, too. Assuming he gets revived and nothing goes horrendously wrong, Thormanil will attack Foul Wyvern from the front row.
  20. If Cinna would be so kind as to revive me and assign a fitting order of action, I would, in turn, like to use my Phoenix Essence to bring Bartholomew Docken back to his feet, as well. OoC: If I'm revived before my turn comes up in the order of action, I *do* get to take that action, don't I? Oh, I hope so.. Heh
  21. Absotively nothing!
  22. That is a gorgeous mod, it looks so much better than the original. I can't really comment on any technical details, but, I love it.
  23. Well, we're in a swamp, so obviously I would use vines and sticks, with mud that I insta-dry for cementing/joints, all of which would be readily available to me in the space of time before the wyvern next clawed at me. I erect a pair of A-frames and thatch them together with a few crossbeams (sticks, obviously!). I use this to create a balanced lever, much like a seesaw. On the far end is the Phoenix Essence, and on the near end is a giant wad of mud and moss, sized just right to offset the weight of the Essence. When I fall forward, finally giving in to the toxins, my face hits the mudball, spinning the arm around, and dumping the phoenix essence on me a brief moment later. Voila!
  24. Regular browser (Chrome, in my case), stay logged in as "swils" Alternate browser, say, Firefox, stay logged in as "MafiaAcct_1" Just have the sense about you to open Firefox when you want to play Mafia. And try not to browse the thread with your main account, then shortly afterwards post from your MafiaAcct
  25. OoC: I had to go back and check for that myself, else I was going to volunteer to take a dive just so I could drop the poison "You're a braver man than I, Docken! I'll do my best to not waste your sacrifice." Thormanil will attack Foul Wyvern from the front row, unless, by some strange chance, Hoptet is unable to heal him, in which case he will spend the turn rigging up an elaborate invention that will trigger when he collapses from the poison. Upon activation, the carefully crafted device will use his own Phoenix Essence on him. Or maybe he'll just attack anyway, and hope for the best.
