Yakuza Family - Confirmation and Discussion
swils replied to badboytje88's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This is more of an EB-Mafia in general question/suggestion, but here's a thought: Create, say, 50 new EB accounts, "MafiaAcct_1, MafiaAcct_2, etc", give control of these to the host(hosts, if there are two+ smaller games going at once). Along with role PMs, users are assigned one of these mafia-specific accounts. All posting in the day thread or pm's playing the game should be done on those accounts, and there should be no name-claiming, in thread or in private (MafiaAcct_1: 'I'm swils and I'm town, trust me!'). Only at the end of the game would it be revealed who was controlling each account. After the game, the accounts' passwords are changed, and they are held onto until the next host needs them. No more direct metagaming. More decisions based on the day's actions, instead of decisions based on the day's actions in comparison to actions in previous lives. Thoughts? -
Oh my.. After seeing my name on Norio's list, I had wondered why he had stopped answering me. So I went back through the day to make absolutely sure I hadn't missed a reply from him, and I hadn't! It seems I got lost in my own head and never actually replied to him! Apparently, I left that open in a separate tabmerely daydreamed that I had said something. Oh, I feel such the fool right now. Well, ultimately, I meant to thank you, Norio, for not making any accusations based on theatrics, regardless of the two of us not seeing eye to eye on their value. And I'd be more than willing to discuss that further with you if you want, but I'll keep that from here for now, as I believe that conversation's time in the public eye has passed. Now, more important things at hand. I came into the day suspicious of Lizzy for jumping around a bit erratically. Throughout the day, she seemed to echo her mother's opinions frequently, going so far as to jump -off- the bandwagon, long after Yasu's fate was quite firmly decided. And what reasoning did she give? Well, none of her own, actually, just Emi's thoughts, slightly reworded. Now, you could take this as a "They voted for you, so now you're turning on them" situation, but I would urge you to look to today's events, first. When Emi's suspicions turned to Lizzy, Lizzy in turn lost all composure! No one to shadow meant she was on her own, and she did not seem to handle it well. Poor little Gahzeeya . About Ichirou, well, what hasn't been said yet? Seems we'll soon be finding out the truth, so I'll let that one run its course. I really doubt Tamiko is the so-called 'jester'. We have seen some foolish moves these last two days, but this one really takes the cake. I can see no benefit to making that claim. One would be better off defending the day's obvious lynchee (sp?) to their death, and bringing themselves into the spotlight that way. This could be a cover-up for a scum, but why make the claim now, when it is so early and there was so little attention on her, anyway? I'd guess that she's a mutineer, planning to be busy tonight, and wants to make sure she lives to carry out her malicious deeds. And if that is the case, her plan has worked: no one wants to bother with her right now. But she would have been just as well off keeping her "role" to herself, as Ichirou was keeping everyone busy anyway, and she was unlikely to get lynched as it was. It has been mentioned that Lizzy may just be young and inexperienced, and while I maintain my suspicions, I'm not going to vote for Lizzy just yet. I am far more interested in Tamiko's role claim, and would like to see it in the forefront of discussion both tonight, and tomorrow. My vote might not carry much weight against those stacked on Ichirou, but I'll put it out there anyway. Vote: Tamiko (Zakura)

Coughing and gagging, Thormanil tries his best to focus on the wyvern, rather than the overwhelming nausea. "Urghhh, this just ain't my day. But there's nothin' to be done 'cept for going big!" Looking just a bit too green around the gills, Thormanil lets out a roar. Or at least, it would have been a roar, if it didn't sound so much like a groan. He prepares to, yet again, attack the Foul Wyvern from the front row.
-
Coughing and gagging, Thormanil wipes the filthy bile off of his face. "Hoptet, you're a lifesaver! Don't know where we'd be without you. Now, let's try this again!" Thormanil will attack the Foul Wyvern from the front row.
-
To keep the stench out, not the bile in! Plus, it was a good excuse to explain away his new costume. Haha
-
His axes crackling and sparking, Thormanil steps to the front row. The awful stench makes him gag, and he briefly ponders the usefulness of a headwrap... "I wonder if this thing'll smell even worse when it's dead?!" Thormanil will attack the Wyvern from the front row.

Having spent the better part of the previous week out of townday and night meditating, Maniko glides back into the room. Grumbling, "Hrmph! To think that I was put under scrutiny for being too emotive! I'm training in the artistic ways of the Geisha, for Kami-sama's sake! That's about as justifiable an excuse as if I were to turn around and say that Lizzy-san, being cold-blooded, must therefore be a cold-blooded killer! And the nerve of some amongst our family, suggesting that I had not spent ample time pondering the day's events..." She shakes her head in disappointment "At the risk of seeming to echo Emi-san, Lizzy's loose voting habits have piqued my curiosity. Secondly, Norio looked down upon my theatrics yesterday, but now shrugs off Lizzy's as excusable, a tree amid the forest? Combined with some level of defending Yasu yesterday, I believe this warrants some discussion."
-
Grumbling, Thormanil turns to the party "Seems we've not got a choice now... a-hunting we shall go? It's just an overglorified bird, can't be that bad, right?"
-
Welp, Seattle was a blast (I'm a mining engineer, GET IT?!), time to get back to real life... and Q14! Rather looking forward to this wyvern, Sandy. Know you won't disappoint!
-
"If we're off to face the wyvern, I'll drink a Mead as well." ooc: mobile ninja'ed?

Edit touche, Rick. Withdrawn, hopefully not too much damage. -
With Maniko well beyond earshot by this time, Yoshiko is left to ponder her question on her own. Eventually, she recalls that Chieko had been signed up for a dancing competition, and had been training fervently for months in preparation. Combined with the unsettling events unfolding in the building, the poor girl was under much stress. However, it may be best to give her til the morning to clear her head. It's not as though she signed up for this.
-
Tired and exhausted from a long day of training with Chieko, Maniko follows her teacher into the main room. She continues to walk with Chieko, allowing herself to be informed of the mess Yasu seemed to have been causing today, among other events. "Chiekosama, all of this talk of roles and claims, and novels of old, it all seems so abstract! Can no one address the day's events as they are, rather than analyzing them as if we were in a history lesson? A great tragedy may yet befall us, but we are content to bicker and nitpick over ancient texts? Why, mistress? Despite being a woman of charity, Yasu-san has wedged herself firmly into the middle of this ugly mess. The unnecessary attention when tensions were high, inviting manipulation from those who seek to dismantle this family... I can not say that I am eager to see her go, but all of this confusion could have so easily been avoided, it seems such a pointless mess, especially if she truly had nothing to hide! Why, I have been busy with your tutelage all day, mistress, though neither of us managed to get ourselves in such trouble! We may be damning one of our own, but at this point, I fear that Yasu-san will only be a tool for those bent against us, whether she wishes to be or not. It is with a heavy heart that I..." Vote: Yasu (TheBoyWonder) With that, Maniko excuses herself from the room, retreating to her quarters for the evening to meditate and reflect upon what had transpired. She grimly looked towards the morning, when she would return to the gathering, her luck permitting.

Totally OoC, my apologies. Ive got internet on my phone, but my laptop is refusing to connect to to eurobricks. Most any other page loads fine off hotel wifi... Trying to figure it out. Ill be active either way, but hopefully I get the computer working -
...Or your QM lives in Alaska, but his LEGOs are in Maryland, maybe?

Sandy, hurry up and roll the dice for Q14 so that I can see what happens before I hop a plane to Seattle in 3 hours! Sure, I'll be back on the ground by this afternoon and able to check it... but I'll be out cold ASAP. Going on 48 hours of no sleep. Never again.
-
I'm still toying with ideas, mapping plot events... making progress, for sure, but it's slow going, even moreso with pressures from school and such. I may have to push back my initial guesstimate (woah, that doesn't get spellchecked? Awesome!) by a fair bit. Also, how would you feel about another quest hosted using digital scenes? While I'd much rather have actual MOCs made up, it's just not feasible til at least the summer.

"I'll attack Giant Chicken Leg(Left) from the front row."
-
"As long as I've got a personal healer," Thormanil jokes, nodding appreciatively at Hoptet, "perhaps he could act before I do? In any case, I'll attack Giant Chicken Leg(Left) from the front row."
-
Hey now... This just gave me a very interesting idea for an optional miniboss and associated mechanics.
-
Slowly lifting himself from the ground, Thormanil faces Giant Chicken Leg (Right), ready to attack from the front row, and praying that he has better luck.
-
Ah, that was my concern. Oh well, time to try Thormy's luck.
