  1. Rivendell was NOT from the survey, as noted by @JeanGreyForever. Therefore we cannot presume that Rivendell's reveal implies anything about the rest of the sets.
  2. To my knowledge, Rivendell was not part of the survey.
  3. Y'all, friendly reminder that none of the main leakers have posted about this particular rumor. While it certainly has the possibility to be true (as do any rumors - well almost), I wouldn't expect anything or set all hopes on it until more reliable people have discussed it.
  4. I'd definitely check out HollyOnFilm's videos combining the sets. I know she tries grey roofs on the new designs at least and it gives a good picture of what all you would need for that and how it would look. I also know there was someone on here who was combining the sets (with some of their own additions), and hopefully they can show up with some more pics of it all haha. I'm not sure how well the 2018 Great hall could be modified to be modular considering it's not as much of a boxy base, but I suppose it could be done with a lot of restructuring.
  5. Rivendell is definitely from a different source than these leaks, though the fact that both share similar confidential logos and background text is telling as far as the veracity of the other pictures. I'm so happy with the Rivendell Design. It looks absolutely gorgeous without feeling too scattered with locations. Everything is well connected, and the minifigure lineup is perfect. It also seems rather deep, considering how the Council area is nestled in with enough spaces for everyone.
  6. They very likely took months of designing; however, that doesn't mean that they are anywhere near finalized, or that they will be released. A lot of D2Cs have been simply designers' side projects (stuff like the Bugle or even the first UCS Millennium), so having sets of these caliber existing as preliminary ideas isn't surprising. Many may fall into that same category.
  7. There seem to be some themed tiles in the other two sets. Just not in the Hedwig set.
  8. Could honestly just see this being a larger set for some show this year. We already have $170 system sets, so a $200 one-off for a show or something wouldn't surprise me.
  9. To be fair, the 20th anniversary logo/packaging isn't a TLG-exclusive thing. Other companies are making CW Season 3 Ahsoka figurines and Magnaguards for the 20th. LEGO is just another company making products for what is likely a Lucasfilm requested anniversary celebration. I would love to see some more 2003 CW sets though like the 2015 Anakin's Starfighter.
  10. I would love to see a remake of the truck scene, but including the 1937 Mercedes this time. I think for the first Indy line, LEGO was very focused - from a play-experience perspective- on the "battle" scenes, so doing something like the Palace wasn't as appealing as the battles in the mines, and the library/grail wasn't as interesting as the boat chase or the planes. That being said, I could see a small bridge similar to the LEGO Ninjago Movie Bridge Battle set for that scene from Temple, and I could definitely see a small $20 set for the Grail final scene. And a scene with young Indy would definitely be great!
  11. I don't think the ppp ratio definitely means microscale. We have seen plenty of sets in the past that were minifigure-based with similar ppp numbers - Diagon Alley and the Ghostbusters Firehouse come to mind immediately as examples.
  12. I may have noted this before, but I could see the $160 set this year being a Sail Barge for the 40th anniversary of ROTJ - similar to the $160 AT-AT for the ESB Anniversary and the $140 AT-TE which was originally for the AOTC anniversary in 2022. It would make sense with the last Sail Barge being $120 in 2013, and it would be a good opportunity to rerelease Max Rebo, use the Jabba mold, etc.
  13. From the LEGO LOTR page: "Build and recreate iconic moments from Middle-earth with LEGO® Lord of the Rings™ sets. Whether you’re a new fan, a super-fan, or somewhere in between, join the epic battle of good vs. evil. The fantasy world of Lord of the Rings™ is filled with legendary books, movies and the new The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power TV show. These Lord of the Rings gifts and toys, for kids aged 10+ and adults, are inspired by the mythical locations and iconic characters of Frodo™, Gandalf the Grey™ and Aragon™. Discover your next precious LEGO® BrickHeadz™ Lord of the Rings™ character figures, Arkenstone-level of awesome gifts and more." Depending how you read that bolded line there, it could simply be saying that the sets they are making are inspired by the main LOTR series, even though the world of LOTR is filled with a variety of books, movies, and RoP. Technically the "variety of books" could also include the Simarillion, Children of Hurin, etc., but I don't think we should expect any sets from those. TL;DR: The line above is vague enough that I don't think we can assume anything beyond the main LOTR movie/book-based set/BH we know about. Also, a theme page on LEGO can mean a variety of things. Ghostbusters had their own page, and they only had the BH pack, Ecto, Ecto 2016, GBHQ, and now the Icons Ecto (which actually doesn't exist on a separate page from Icons now). Meanwhile, Stranger Things had a page with only the Upside Down, BH, and keychain. A theme page on LEGO only means that LEGO is making something from that license (or, "theme") - it doesn't mean how much/how little. So while the pages are technically showing "themes" on LEGO.com, like @mtrsteve said, that doesn't mean a lot. The pages can be used as simply ways to narrow down by license, like @THELEGOBATMAN said, and it doesn't imply anything beyond that. Given that we haven't don't have any more unknown themes for the summer from all of the retail lists, it can be assumed that LOTR will at least not be continuing this summer. Also of note is that Rivendell is within the Icons range of numbers, not its own.
  14. Hear me out... So the RoR has the Diadem, Gringotts could have the cup, Dobby could have the Diary as an accessory, Harry is in most sets, Nagini could be in the final battle, if Expecto is based on the Forest of Dean, that could have the locket, and they could put the ring into another set, and there will be all Horcruxes in one year. Plus, if we have the invisibility cloak for Harry's disguise in Gringotts, the resurrection stone in the final battle somewhere, and the Elder Wand for Voldemort in that same set, we get all Deathly Hallows as well... Just speculation, but it's an idea...
  15. I'd kinda expect MODOK with him being in the D23 trailer and this new trailer, but I don't really think we'll see a lot extra build-wise. Pretty much just expecting Scott, Hope, Kang, and MODOK, especially with Cassie being absent from some other waves of products for the movie, as sad as that is.
  16. Very much this. If they do this theme right, it could be so great, especially if they use it as a means to reach back into older LEGO themes and bring some elements back/have sets based around them. Gives basically unending possibilities for what they can do.
  17. Oh I don't disagree. I've just seen people argue that they've always released a Gunship with an AT-TE in the past (however true that statement may or may not be (it happened in 2008 and 2013, but like you said, not in 2002-2003)), and I was just stating that such a metric doesn't really work. Agreed on this. The only thing I could MAYBE see happening would be that LEGO decided to make the accessory packs into full-range sets, though I doubt it. Brickheadz are staying at $10, as we've seen with the Tusken, Microfighters are still $10, and Battle Packs are still $20. I don't see them being duel sets, as those have always been $20, and I doubt they would decreases prices on those, so it almost has to be a new gimmick, likely with a minifigure in each for sales. Given the diminishing number of microfighters, maybe these will introduce the next gimmick line like that... Would make some sense at this point since we've had micros since 2014.
  18. My thoughts on this list: Given that Microfighters are still $10, as seen with the Slave 1- I'm sorry "Boba Fett's Starship," and since battle packs are still $20, I'm guessing these new $15s will either be a new gimmick or accessory packs with mainline set numbers. As much as a $160 Gunship would be great, the fact that we got one in 2013 doesn't really mean anything. If we were going by that logic, the Gunship should have released this past summer since "they have always released the AT-TE and Gunship in the same wave before." In all honestly, given that the last AT-TE was $80 and the new one is $140, I could even see the $200 being a Gunship if they wanted (against its $120 predecessor) given that it would sell and they could add a lot of solid detail at that price (plus throw in Rex, etc.)... I wouldn't bet on the $160 definitely being the Gunship even if they do release one next summer. That being said, I do think the $200 will be something else. It's separate from the rest (something LEGO rarely does during the summer wave unless it's for a new show, etc.) and could line up with a solid Mantis, ROTJ anniversary set, or something completely different. I honestly lean towards the $160 being the anniversary ROTJ set, given that the $160 2020 set was the anniversary AT-AT, and the $140 2022 set was the AT-TE, originally designed as the 20th anniversary EPII set (per Promobricks' original rumor). They seem to like having the anniversary set at that price...
  19. Of note, Stranger Things and Ghostbusters also had/have their own pages, both of which just had a couple of sets and Brickheadz (especially Stranger Things, with only one set, Brickheadz, and a couple of accessories (keychains, etc.). I tried running the parts under warm water a bit, which did help some, but I'm not sure if it will stay better or not...
  20. I was looking at some of my old LOTR figs, and some of the torsos and legs on them have gotten quite stiff, especially the figures with reddish brown and dark red. Given that I want to avoid cracking any parts, does anyone have recommendations on how best to relieve the stiffer joints without damaging the figs? Apologies if this is off-topic. Given it pertains mainly to LOTR figs in this case, I thought I'd bring it up here.
  21. Is there any way that the mystery imperial in the Tie Bomber could be her? It would be an odd inclusion, to be sure, but as a throw-in figure it could work?
  22. For those in the US, the price of the Eiffel on LEGO.com has been changed from $680 (where it was this morning) to $630 on S&H. While it's possible this is a mistake, I just wanted to let y'all know... It is interesting if purposeful.
  23. Given how much people have liked the show, even if it's not getting crazy amounts of views, I wouldn't be surprised if we got more sets for Season 2 at least... Not sure if we'd see more from S1 or not though.
  24. I would honestly not be surprised if they just released these Brickheadz and the $500... I think a lot of their LOTR market is adults, so they likely wouldn't go the route of a whole theme, but rather just a single big D2C and some smaller BH models (which are basically just bought by AFOLs anyway) ... Especially if the line last time didn't sell well enough in their eyes, which considering some of the sales at the end of the theme (if I remember right), I wouldn't be surprised...
  25. You're going to give them ideas for the next advent... I feel like Voldemort in a Santa Claus uniform is basically just Jack Skellington...
